So this is his so called night parade? Tetsuya thought as he saw the crying woman sucking a lollipop. Intimidating. The girl then spoke greeting them speaking her name. Tetsuya responded,"Well hello Yui... I'm Tetsuya and-"
"I'm Emi," Emi broke in placing herself between the two of them. She glared at the girl in front of her. Another girl.... Kenji didn't mention another girl... I can see the way she's looking at Tetsu... she can't be here... he can't be here... we have to leave. She turned to Tetsuya and whispered into his ear,"We have to leave now... this doesn't seem safe."
Tetsuya glanced down at the woman he so dearly wanted to stomp into a curb. So she wants to leave huh? "I don't think we can Emi. We don't know what were doing. They could kill us if we left. We should at least find out what all this is about." He whispered back. The truth of the matter was he felt the same as the way he thought Emi felt. Uneasy. They might be in over there heads, but Tetsuya was determined to do the opposite of whatever this wench wanted.
The banter between Lorenzo and Kenji was quick it explained why the two standing before them are here. So were fresh then... like new meat? And the leader wants us to be trained. Trained in what? He smiled when Emi was questioned but quickly held it back, replacing it with a stern look. He couldn't let her see. He needed her to believe his ruse. "Sir, from what I gather, you want us to be the new recruits of your night parade. If you inform the both of us what it is we will have to do I can make my decision. The only catch is, if I join, she joins. We're not separating. If you are questioning her strength she is far from weak. If you question her intellect, she was the top of our class. If you question her loyalty, she is the most devoted person I know. If she causes any trouble let it be on my head." The words he spoke made him want to throw up, he nearly gagged multiple times. He needed this to work though, so he pushed through. He saw the black haired man shift when he mentioned loyalty. That must be the hang up then.
Emi blushed at the words that came out of Tetsuya's mouth. She could barely hold back the immense joy she felt in her heart at that moment. This is the nicest thing I've ever heard. I'm so lucky to have my Tetsuya. She continued to look up at the man next to her, while scooting closer eventually wrapping her arm around his and squeezing it close.
