Adrian didn't care about the other inmates too much. While it would be nice to know what everyone was capable of, they would find that out in time. Like many others, they went alone into the court. They thought about trying to summon something now, but seeing the guards in the towers with guns aimed at them, they decided that wasn't such a good idea after all. A shame, the only place to try it was in their cell. Already, they were thinking about things to do to start some commotion in the prison. Not on the first day, of course, but soon. They thought about various ways, watching the sky.
With permission given, Sebastian gave a small nod, taking his free arm and pulling down his blindfold to rest on his neck. While his eyes were a wonderful light blue, the area around his eyes were heavily scarred. Seeing what he was talking to, he stopped breathing. Yes, she was in a more human form, but there was no doubt she was a dragon of some kind. Suddenly, he was incredibly grateful he wasn't dead. While he had considered the possibility he was talking to a dragon, it was one he thought near impossible. "...Honestly, this is a bit of a surprise." He grinned, still trying to process what he was standing in front of.
As far as Lucas saw it, he didn't have time to be here eating. He didn't have many courses, but the few he was taking had heavy workloads. While the ginger didn't mind doing the work, he needed more time to do it. The line was miles long, and by the time some of them got their food it would probably be the end of the block, so he decided to completely forego even trying to get something and went to work finding a table.

A quick look from near the entrance of the canteen showed to him no empty tables, but luckily, some tables near the back seemed pretty open. Pretty quiet, away from the jocks, which was a nice bonus. Moving through the crowds wasn't a problem for him, most people either moved for him or he made them move. Taking a seat on the opposite end of a couple of other people, he practically pulled out everything in his bag, bringing the physics work on top. Since it was just the beginning of his freshman year, the course work wasn't complicated yet. Before starting his work, Lucas took a look around, and noticed all different cliques already forming. To him, they were just stupid. Considering he didn't go with anyone, and there were other people that didn't fit in others either, he and others would probably be classified in some other section, which was really unnecessary. He sighed at the thought, starting one of his many packets.
congrats friend, those are terrifying
"Thank you." At this point, Sebastian was tempted to just take off his blindfold to look at her, but decided against it. He slightly regretted never going to a public school, or talking to people in general; the years of rumors and gossip about the town may have proved useful in this situation. By now, he had formed some ideas of what she was, including many types of forest guardians. However, most of them were spirits, which he had already determined she was not. There was also always the possibility that she just conquered the forest, and took it has her own, whatever she was. Shapeshifting beings powerful enough to keep a forest were few and far in between, and the claws currently on his arms narrowed the list even further. It was obvious he was thinking about it. "I may have a few ideas, but to be honest I'm not completely sure." He responded, cautious to say any one particular creature.
Name: Lucas McKenna
Age: 18
Appearance: Stands at 6 foot 4 inches, with a strong build. He prefers to wear casual clothes and light jackets, with dulled down colors.
Personality: Lucas is a strange kid, preferring to spend his time reading ancient and occult books rather than go out and talk to people. He doesn't make friends easily, nor talk to people easily. However, when it comes to the few topics he's interested in, Lucas can hold a conversation. Loves fighting, though won't usually go out looking for one. He's embarrassed by it so he doesn't really tell anyone, but he writes free verse.
Subjects:
Astronomy
AP Physics
AP Calculus
Ancient History
English
Psychology

Social Group: inbetween, lurks around the nerds - doesn't care much for pop culture but does enjoy talking about math
Bio: Born the third youngest of 8 other brothers, Lucas was raised on a ranch estate in Scotland, moving with his family to America when he was fourteen. Because of his brothers, he learned to fight early and doesn't mind getting in one. Went to Catholic schools for all his schooling, until now. Because of this he speaks Latin, but doesn't show off. While he does enjoy the major he's going for, it wasn't his choice to go for it but his father's. One day he hopes to simply go back to Scotland without a trace, working on a rail line not too far from his hometown. In somewhat of a competition to inherit the estate from his parents.
Any Relationships/Friendships Already Formed? nah
i would love to do this
Sebastian didn't like hearing the announcement, even distantly. That meant that it would soon be a new day, which he was starting to dread. However he still dragged himself up into his bed.
The movement Sebastian heard made him slightly more nervous, but he managed to keep calm. "I am not blind, but keep these bandages on to give respect." To the dead, that was. He didn't want another incident of a spirit trying to rip out his eyes, and he always figured this was the best way to prevent it. The change of voice came as a surprise to him. He really didn't want to piss off something that could change forms. "And I apologize for infringing on your territory. My name is Sebastian Haas, ma'am." He realized too late that some species took offense to human gender titles being applied to them, and hoped that he didn't make that mistake there. Or, if he did, the figure understood it as a human sign of respect. He let it be though, as to not dig himself into a deeper hole.
