Personality: Curious, yet disconnected, Eika hides behind the drones she makes in order to attempt to see through them to understand things. What she cannot comprehend, she looks through her creations to maintain -- yes, it is the curiosity of understanding where things fit in that drives her onwards. Where does she go? What does she do? Like a puzzle piece, she tries to fit both people and objects alike into a manner that is understandable for a mind moreso accustomed to the circuits of a machine than the conversations that normal people tend to have.
Yet not all is lost on her. She is quick to jump to a conversation started, to explore the concepts of what is spoken, what is gained, what is given, and what is the same. Her ideals are simple in their nature, as said before. It's just..It's hard.
Seeing through an electronic looking glass makes it harder to understand the things the other people can grasp in moments.
History:
The younger years were filled with an intriguing development in the young girl -- daughter to two scientists, she studied the way things worked by ways of a technological manner in preference as opposed to understanding the ways of communicating with other people. Not understanding the concept of what was a "normal" conversation topic, she wasn't very good at making friends, and it left her a bit shy as a result. This lack of communication with both her peers and with her every-busy parents left her to begin tinkering of her own, leading to her first creation being a mechanical rabbit that served as her companion and subject to several upgrades to function as a pet in all ways but the one that she might have needed most.
This mind of hers developed into one beyond it's years, looking through algorithms and making sense of the numbers when most her age would close the book and toss it behind them without a second thought. Long nights spent created more machines -- more "masterpieces" that lacked the conceptual energy that made a human being what they were -- a soul. Regardless, it was this hobby that kept her busy through and through, making her own space in a world she wasn't taught to understand or integrate with appropriately. It remained this way even after the unfortunate passing of her father in a miscalculation of chemicals within the confines of their workplace, leading a devastating change in her mother's views as she placed the blame upon her child as a coping mechanism. The abuse was like any parent's would be -- yes, from an uncaring parent, to the kind that hurt their child when their perfect life was ruined.
So the only option was to escape however she could. The school's technology club became a safe haven for her -- and without the heart to place a woman obvious ailing from the loss of her significant other under scrutiny for her actions, Eika chose to begin staying after school when none would know -- to hide out in the tech club room, spend the night, sleep in there until morning came so she could get an early start and go get her things washed and cleaned up before students began to arrive. Risky yes, but...the only to make sure she didn't have to go home.
It's...scary being alone. Not knowing what she existed for. Not knowing what to do with herself with her home no longer being a place where she could step into without fear of pain being inflicted upon her. ...So...Where to go from here?...
