Magi grimaced a the pathetic stereotype derived from books and movies. "A wizard...specializes in one field of magic....I in many.."He told her. "It was...no trouble at all...wounds such as those are nothing..." Which, of course, was true. He'd healed much worse on himself, the ability to heal himself kept him out of the hospitals, out of they prying questions that would un-mask who he was. "Particularly information on a patient....you dragged from the edge of the Sea of Trees....which is where I followed the blood trail from....I happened to be passing by after a....job." he continued "The woman told me you were the one who treated him?..."
Arcadius took a step back before bowing "Magi....at your service." He said before straightening up. "I am a Mage....not much different...than what you call 'meta-humans'..." He sat down in the chair a few feet from her. "No...Not injured...Quite the opposite...I've come to offer my healing services.....I followed a trail of blood to here....That woman told me to speak with you for information?..." He said. "I noticed you were injured....so I healed you..."
Arcadius blinked and grinned at the sentries threats. Of course, most if not all of them would have no idea what a Mage was, even still they most likely wouldn't believe him fully. He simply nodded and walked through the base, asking the personnel if they had any sort of a sickbay or medical bay. Several were hesistant to answer him, some ignoring him altogether. Eventually he got enough information and was pointed towards the medbay waiting area. He asked the woman at the desk if anyone recent had gotten drug in, possibly with wounds from an explosion. She said yes, a man was brought in and treated by a woman named Vivian. She eventually went on that "That girl used her powers again...poor thing." Stating that she had healed him partially, she then pointed to her over in a lounge chair. She told Arcadius to speak with her for more information. Arcadius nodded and walked over, he noticed burn wounds that looked fresh on her abdomen where he shirt wouldn't cover. He wondered how she got them, he didn't care to much other than the fact he needed answers on the man. He held two fingers in front of his chest and begun speaking "Sanaret..." The tips of his fingers glowing, a small green circle with runic letters appearing in front of his hand. He spoke once more, "Sanaret..." He stretched his arm out untill the tips of his fingers were a few inches from the woman. A soft green glow surrounded her as her wounds healed. In a few seconds nothing remained, it looked as if nothing had ever happened. He gently shook her to get her attention. "Feeling better...?" He asked.
Arcadius proceeded to do as instructed, first holding out his arms, then closing his eyes and leaning his head down. "Alright.." He said. Of course...he had had stranger happen to him, this wouldn't be the first time a bag was tossed over his head and he was escorted somewhere. Perhaps, if they had drug a injured person here, there were more...more that would pay him for his services...
Arcadius grunted and released his hold on the dagger, it disappearing as soon as it hit the ground below him. "Very well..." He replied. "Tenebris" With that, the orb of light disappeared, leaving him in pitch black darkness while waiting on this sentry. He grew curious, perhaps dangerously so. But of course, if he could get more clients...it was welcome.
Yay for NPC's :D
The voice startled him a bit, but eventually he spoke. "My name is Magi....I am a Mage...I followed a trail of blood from the Sea of Trees to here.....Assumed they were injured....Was going to offer my healing services to them..." Magi spoke, slowly. He wasn't sure whether or not divulging that information was the best thing to do, but then again if they did decide to attack, they'd be decimated within seconds. "Seeing that it's so late...I'd request entry into your...home..? Whatever it is..."
My question: IF the iron door that Magi found leads to the FF, who is gunna answer the door?
> > Oh yes I know the properties of photons and that. True as that may be, the ability to manipulate photons in itself is impossible, so the whole situation requires a fair bit of suspension of disbelief. With things like controlling and building technological constructs with one's mind and imbuing arrows with kinetic energy, altering their velocity and vector, and other such things, it isn't that far of a stretch. So why not, I say. Nice to see another science enthusiast though! > > Oh, I know, the entire concept of superheroes is based on a certain level of bullshit. Don't worry, I had no intention of enforcing the laws or reality in a highly fictional universe. I just thought it was a thing worth mentioning, and as such I mentioned it. > ![Science!](http://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/AgathaGirlGenius3_8.jpg "enter image title here") > > > > If ya wanna be technical shootin' fireballs out of a magical symbol isn't possible either :D > > Sure it is, you'd simply need to find a way of generating a highly combustible substance and launching it at the opponent. Assuming the existence of magical energy which could cause energy-to-matter transformation, as well as creating and directing kinetic energy, creating gouts or balls of flame is quite possible. if you were to create a core of explosive materials separated by a thin layer of material, you could even have them explode, effectively summoning grenades. > Fucking nerd....lol.
Hoping my post is fine. I used the obvious blood trail that would be there from Wolf getting exploded to more or less lead the way to the FF stronghold on the Coast. If not I can edit it, or it can simply not be that.
