Er. Sorry I fell asleep. Lmao.
I thought I was the GM ._. Meh. W.e. Going to think up a post shortly.
Magnus chuckled at the sound of the tires screeching on the pavement, exactly the reaction he wanted, and said "Why thank you, I try. Anywho, back to you and the reason why I took time off my busy schedule of ripping out the hearts of my enemies. You know your beloved SOLDIER? The one you're loyal as a dog to? Well, for some reason they no longer trust you, Nor this Rhyss Blackblade fellow. The Purge invading and destroying everything in sight? That was their doing. Why do you think they stationed so many elites there? Namely you two." "They know you're too powerful for them to control forever, they no longer trusted you, therefore they told the Purge of the location of a few vampires they wanted disposed of, again, you and this Rhyss fellow. Isn't it also so very wonderful they also sold me access to very compromising and sensitive info for a threat and a few million?"
Magi felt the blade pierce the back of his skull, and he cursed inwardly as it did. He had let the Demon get the better of him, he had failed. He fell to his knees as the blade was ripped out of his skull, life slowly ebbing away from him. With a thump he hit the ground, he half way aimed himself so his hand would be close to his head. With the last of his strength he begun A attempt to heal himself. "San..aret.." he said under his breath, only half concious and vision going dark. "Exit..iab..bilis.." With that, a dark green circle formed in his hand, causing his head to glow as brain tissue and his skull reformed itself. Slowly he felt life coming back to him as his magic was healing him. He had lost some blood, and that was one thing his magic couldn't heal. He lie there, trying to look as dead as possible while he finished healing, luckily the Demon had turned his back on him. Most likely commending himself on his newest kill for the pride and glory of Helios. As soon as he was sure he was fully healed and the damage to his brain repaired, he spoke. "Terra..." he whispered "Maceria" He focused his power on a wall of the medbay, it began shaking and cracking loudly, with a flick of his wrist towards the demon the wall came crashing towards him. Magi stood, "Glaciem..Inpedio" at the end of these words thick shackles of ice burst from the ground, clasping around the Demon's ankles. "Globus..Ignis.." Magi said as he flicked his hand towards the Demon, sending a big ball of firey inferno towards him. Magi panted a bit, mostly due to the loss of blood. "If you are going to kill someone...make sure they are dead, Demon."
Magnus is going to enjoy every last second of this, lol.
Magnus tapped his claws across the desk impatiently as Mithias took all the time in the world to answer him, he almost gave up. Who did this younger vampire think he was to waste his time, Gabriel? He was just about to turn off his phone when he answered. Magnus grinned at the obvious pause in between answering him, every one of his sharp pointed teeth glistening in the light of the room. "Some call me Insane, Others a psycopath, while I am not inclined to disagree, that is not my name." He said with a chuckle. "I suppose there would be no harm in telling you my name, you're speaking to Magnus, you know the one with Shane on the end? The one that orchastrated the little fiasco at Kilo Point? Anywho, enough about me, back to you and the reason I called. You're probably wondering how I even have your number, let's just say everything has a price, and they were all to willing to sell the intel." Magnus got up from his chair and began slowly pacing the room, "I'll allow you a few moments to let what I just told you sink in before continuing, don't want to give you a heart attack you know?"
Edited my post to state they wanted them dead due to trust issues, and they tipped them off to their location instead of hire. Sound good?
Wait, SOLDIER wanted Rhyss and Mithias dead? Why? That makes no sense whatsoever. It's like getting Darth Vader to work for you, making sure he's completely loyal, pointing him at the enemy, and then stabbing him in the back. There is no way that's going to end well, as the best possible result is the loss of a valuable member and the worst is the gain of a dangerous enemy. I can see no logical reason for the government to attempt to go after their own elites. Furthermore, the Purge can't be hired. They don't care about money whatsoever, to them greed is a sign of the devil. They're a religious crusade in modern times, extremists brainwashed into a psychotic frenzy. Nobody can 'hire' a Crusade. Lastly, when the Purge arrived, they attempted to ally with SOLDIER and fight Magnus together. They extended the hand of friendship. Then, Matt decided to go shoot them, starting a conflict that cost dozens of lives, and resulted in the utter destruction of Kilo Point. The Purge had no intention of hunting down the SOLDIER elite until after the conflict had ended.
Following the plot line of the old ones, Magnus' reasoning with SOLDIER was they really sought to destroy the vampires, much like the Purge though less crazy. That explains why they would want to kill them. Maybe SOLDIER tipped the Purge off instead of hiring them? I dunno. I mean, I can edit it to whatever fits. I just figured not all of the Purge were 100% crazy, and if they had scientists etc. researching things, they'd need money to conduct said research.
As the lights went out Magi spoke, "Lumen" a orb of light appearing in his hand, he flicked his wrist and the orb shined next to him, illuminating the corpses on the ground and the room. "Coward....show yourself...I know you are still here..." Magi spoke as he scanned the room, it was as if he had completely went invisible. He knew of none that could do so, technology, perhaps? If he couldn't see him, he would flush him out. He put his palms together in front of his chest and bowed his head slightly, before doing so he looked around the room to make sure nothing around him was alive, other than his opponent. "Ignis..."He spoke "Flagro" With that a wall of flame burst out from around him, engulfing everything in the room and turning wooden pieces to cinders in a instant, it was a controlled flame yet powerful as any. It died down a mere moment after the spell was cast, should he still be anywhere near him, he would have just gotten roasted if everything went according to plan. But of course, it was likely the coward had already left that particular room, and his efforts were for naught.
