@Gnar The Missing Link That's fine man.
Life lesson learned, never call a psychotic gym teacher with a siege engine drill an old man.
Interested. Subbed. Seems cool. I'll get a character soon mebbe.
Arcadius looked behind him at the sound, with the most obvious 'oh fuck'expression that could have possibly been made. His jog turned into a full on sprint, "You're crazy old man!" He shouted, it seemed as if the drill sped up a bit, it probably did.

He ran, toppling more hurdles than he jumped over. After the last hurdle he ran over and set up for the 1/4th lap. The drill consequently changed direction to greet him. Persistent, this drill. He debated using magic to try and destroy it, while he couldn't directly feel a barrier, one was probably there to prevent magic.

He ran down the track, or rather, sprinted as fast as his legs could take him. The drill was so close he could reach out and touch it, he sped up more. "I. Hate. Track." He said between breaths, eventually he reached the end, however he kept running, just in-case that drill decided it wanted to be friends. "Alright old man, I'm done, we good? That it? Call off the drill and the forcefield and turn the sky back on!" Arcadius shouted, nearly out of breath.

If he ever saw a track field or a drill again, it'd be to soon.
Interested, subbed.
Sorry, gunna try an post now :p.
I'm still waiting on info on what to do.
Illumina walked with the group, staring out across the path looking at the mountains and the farmers, her cloak billowing slightly in the wind. Truly a sight to behold, at-least compared to what she was used to. She'd never traveled this far south, not much to steal from farmers and the like after all.

She eye'd the others in her group which was mostly composed of females, something that struck her as quite odd.

First there was Lyra, a mountain elf. Rather short by elven standards, she thought. Nevertheless it was quite apparent she wasn't young to match her height. She noticed no weapons, probably practiced magic, same assumption went to two others in her group.

The Albmont Abel and the Baroness, Kristen.

Abel struck her as rather odd, he looked part elf and part dwarf, and carried no visible weapons which is what lead her to think he practiced magic of some kind. Dwarves weren't exactly known to be smart folk, she figured if he did practice magic he got it from his elven side.

Kristen she wasn't sure of, she had to be stronger than she looked or practiced magic, otherwise it just seemed foolish to her that the Baron would let her strike out on a adventure cross country with a group of randoms. Though..she figured if she could become friends with the Baroness perhaps she'd invite her over to their place one day for lunch, and to 'appropriate' a few things.

Then there was Elisha, she looked strong, quite obviously a warrior judging by the sword and armor. Both of which looked valuable, very valuable.

Then there was Steven, who was the only other male in the group aside from Able and quite obviously a warrior of some kind, though he mentioned he was a farmer, so a...warrior farmer? She couldn't help but grin at the thought of an enraged farmer swinging that giant halberd at birds and the like to get them off the crops.

Truly a diverse group, her herself being an assasin for hire, or thief, whichever paid more at any given time. She continued walking down the path with the others, arms stretched behind her back, taking in the sights in awe as if she was a young child again.

Where she came from, you didn't see things like this. You saw slums, hobos, and the occasional sewer rat. So, compared to that, this was another world entirely.

She half listened to Steven talking about how similar this was to where he was from, she wondered how different her life would be if she was raised as a farmer somewhere like this. Probably more boring, but somehow better.

Her thoughts drifted, eventually Steven spoke up about a boy looking for something. She shrugged inwardly, "Sure, why not, nothing much else to do" she spoke, though she wasn't the first to walk over, she slowly followed the rest.

She missed the initial conversation with her slow pace, though catching the repeat. A flower huh? Interesting, kids mom must be sick or something. She listened silently as Lyra questioned him further, arms behind her back. Perhaps actually helping someone aside from killing or stealing would be a nice change of pace, break the monotony at the least.
All I can imagine is dwarf fortress dwarf, ya kno one of those that goes with all the females in the fort? Yeah, one of those, when I read Abels post.
