Magnus could hear the chaos in the distance, echoing through the halls of a cave he had claimed his own. It wasn't much, a simple area for resting and one for bathing, luckily the cave seemed to have a natural source of water in it. The sound of the chaos awoke him from his slumber, he grinned menacingly, it had been ages since anything interesting had happened. He got up from his makeshift bed and proceeded out the entrance of his cave. He could see smoke in the distance and hear the screams of humans as they perished.
He began walking in the direction of the sounds. Eventually there was a scent that stood out from all the others, a very familiar scent, Dresden. His sireling, the only one whom he had ever made. It had been hundreds of years since either of them had last seen each other, for Magnus had only recently came back to Point Kilo a year or so ago. The last time they had saw each other was when Magnus chose to leave his most recent clan. Curious to find out how his sireling was doing and exactly what had become of him he leapt into the trees, moving silently amongst the limbs moving steadily closer to the source of the chaos.
Once he got there it was truly a magnificent sight to see, vampires slaughtering SOLDIER left and right, the sheer number of them being SOLDIER's downfall. He scanned the area searching for Dresden, eventually he saw him, he also noticed the blade he was carrying. So, he had actually done it. Magnus thought to himself. He finally killed the old clan master, guess that makes him leader of this massacre. He smiled, sharp pointy teeth glistening in the moon light. He was truly proud of what Dresden had become.
Jumping down from his perch he decided to join in the fun. His arms outstretched slightly from his body he flexed his claws and let out a bloodcurdling howl before dashing into the fray. He cut down any target he met, vampire and human alike, they seemed to fall by a source almost invisible to the human eye. This was truly the most fun he had had in years. Amongst the chaos he was keeping close attention on Dresden, eventually he could sense him leaving the area. Ceasing all movement he said "While this has been fun and all, I am afraid I will have to leave you to slaughter one another alone."
He then proceeded to silently trail Dresden as he went towards the village, he wished to speak with him alone, and perhaps even test his strength. After all, the original leader was very strong, Dresden would have to have came a long way since he had left him to beat the old leader.
