Junko squeaked in surprise as the large gorilla became a bunch of smaller monkeys. This was crazy, but the continued assault of the primates prompted her to continue doing what she could to assist the others. Thus, she began throwing more books in hopes of distracting the monkeys in the same was she had distracted the ape.

An errant monkey, however, blew past the others and managed to reach her. It jumped at Junko and attempted to attack, as the girl crouched down and cowered- hoping that it would be over quick.

But it wasn't.

"OMRA!"

Junko heard a muffled battlecry and looked up to see a large pink egg standing beside her, protecting her from the assault. Like some sort of... some sort of beyolked protector. She had even less idea what was happening, but she felt safer. The monkey that assaulted her didn't seem incredibly injured, but at least Junko was alright. She began throwing more books around.
Luanne and Dot Part 2 - In the Drugstore

Luanne shuffled around in the drugstore as her sister kept a vigilant eye on their barricade, grabbing anything that looked like it might be useful and shoving it in her backpack. It hadn't been long since the dead started walking, and Luanne was still hoping that perhaps this was all a dream. Hoping, but not believing. This was the world she lived in now, and if she distracted herself too much with such fanciful imaginings, she might not be long to live. Or worse; she could put her sister in danger.

Luanne glanced at Dot, who was still sitting on the counter with a trembling finger on her rifle. Dot was all Luanne had left in this world, and damn if she wouldn't do anything to protect her. That was her obligation, after all, being a whole seven minutes and eighteen seconds older.

BANG

A sudden crash at the door made Luanne drop the can of chili that she was inspecting and look up at the door. She quickly drew the shotgun that she took from their house, and put her hand at her hip to make certain she still had the combat knife nestled in the sash on her dress. She stalked along the shelves near the entrance as another crash rang throughout the pharmacy, and by the time the door burst open she was able to surreptitiously observe the group that ran in. Not walkers, for certain, as they had the presence of mind to barricade the door again. But that didn't mean they weren't enemies. For all she knew, they wanted the protection of the pharmacy all for themselves.

All of their attention was on Dot at the moment as they began explaining themselves to her, which gave Luanne the perfect opportunity to sneak up behind them and train one of her father's favorite hunting weapons on their backs. If they tried to hurt her sister, she would hurt them first.
Anya's face fell a little when she learned that she would be apart from her papa. Just about the only good thing about being a vampire was that he always spent time with her now, and he was off doing things on his own.

But then she remembered that Mr. Elric was a very nice man, and smiled back at her papa. They would go sightseeing together later, and she would befriend Mr. Elric now. Mr. Elric was probably really fun anyways.

"Alright, papa," said Anya, waving goodbye to her father, "But come back really soon, OK? Have fun on your errands."

Anya still didn't like him leaving her, and it made her a little scared after that bad dream she had, but Anya got the impression that 'errands' were adults only things that she just wasn't allowed to go to. If her papa wasn't taking her along, it was probably something that absolutely could not be done with her around.
Anya stretched out as she woke up and looked up at her father, smiling sweetly. It was nice to be able to see him first thing in the day all the time. She hugged James back, resting her head on his chest.

"It's a big day today, right papa? I bet we'll find a cure this time. I'm feeling really good about today," said Anya.

Then again, she'd said that many times before. And had a good feeling about the day many times before. But this time, it was probably really going to happen.

Though she'd thought that before too.

But her spirits were just as high as the first time, and she knew that if she kept on hoping, one day she would be right.
I am also ready.
Name: Luanne Parnell
Age: 12, but a couple of minutes older than her sister
Gender: Female
Race: Southern Caucasian
Appearance: A young girl, about 4'11", with dirty blonde/brown hair and a relatively unclean face. Her teeth are surprisingly well aligned and somewhat hygienic, but not as much as her sister.

Clothing: An old-fashioned ‘southern belle’ style dress that used to be white as the driven snow and quite pretty. It is currently filthy with dirt and blood and in tatters. A portion of the bottom of the dress has been ripped off in order to improve mobility.
Equipment: Outdoor cooking tools, some ingredients, a walkie-talkie, an assortment of medicine she grabbed at random from her home, and a jug of her father's moonshine.
Weapons: 12 gauge double barrel shotgun, combat knife, metallic baseball bat, medical saw
Bio/Background: Luanne was from an average Southern family that got along quite well together. She and her sister always looked up to their father, who was a doctor, and wanted to be like him when they grew up. Their wish ended up coming true, but not in a way they ever hoped or imagined. Since Luanne was the older sister, her father charged her with protecting Dot since she was small. His words still ring true in her ears today, and she would do anything to make certain her sister was safe. Anything.
Occupation Pre-Apocalypse: Student
Junko was not aware of the fact that other people were all over this mysterious library, nor was she currently privy to the funky monkey fight going on. Her attention was on something far more important; the blank books. As far as she knew, she had been thrown into some strange new world like in every anime ever. The first thing she saw was thousands of blank books, so she knew they must be important. They must mean something. They must hold clues about the world she was now in or tell her about how she got there.

But they were all blank, which likely meant that she was supposed to write something. Thus, she began drawing copious amounts of BL in every book she could get her hands on.

"If this world does not yet know the beautiful, pure love of two boys than I will teach it." She thought, resolutely. Well, until the sounds of battle permeated her thick head.

'MEN FIGHT' was all she really needed to hear to look up from her art and bear witness to the battle currently going on. Men fighting each other was one of her favorite things ever, but sadly the opponent was just a badly-dressed ape instead of a brooding, misunderstood bishonen who was trying to cope with his strange feelings for the shirtless boy who was obviously the main character.

"Look at those muscles, OH MY GOD. B-but now is not the time to be admiring. Besides, 3DPD. That monkey is obviously the bad guy, and I need to help!"

Her arm trembling, Junko took one of the yaoi-filled books and chucked it directly at the ape's head- hoping to cover the muscley guy's assault.
Well alrighty, then. I made a character with a stand, but in order to keep with the beginning power level I made it an 'evolving' stand similar to Koichi's ECHOES. Starts off pretty weak, but it should scale well with everyone else's stuff as we power up.

You wouldn't still be open and accepting new characters, would you?
Anya's eyes slowly closed as her father sang her to sleep. She was a little scared that she would have more bad dreams, but her papa was right there to comfort her and that made her feel much better.

Another wonderful thing about her papa was his singing. He was a really good singer. Or perhaps he wasn't, but it sounded like the best in the world to Anya at that moment. It made her feel secure, and she knew that he would never leave. He would always be by her side, she knew it.

Anya fell into a sound, undisturbed sleep. There would be no more bad dreams that night.
