Name: Dominic Campbell

Age: 26

Appearance:

Bio: The Campbell family is a newer western family of magi from America, who specialize in studying and taking care of any sort of magical malfeasance caused by rogue magi among other things. They are considered freelancers who specialize in resolving magical incidents, and operate outside any authority. Dominic is a second generation magi, his father originally being just an ordinary guy who dug a bit too deep and got involved in the occult. Dominic was shipped off to France when he was young by his father in order to make the Campbell name big in the Holy Grail War that would take place there years later and lived alone from the age of 12 in Paris. His father thought that it would make him strong, and it did, but making it on his own also made him selfish and slow to trust. He ended up joining and later leading a small gang that operates out of a really sleazy bar in the red light district that they own, though they aren’t particularly big or influential. Presently, Dominic’s father is dead. He was killed by one of the rogue magi he was hunting, but to Dominic nothing has changed. He’s still participating in the war as he’d always planned to, and he’s doing so for his own reasons. Dominic is a man who lives by his own rules. He knows what he wants, and he generally does what he has to to get it. He doesn’t have a shred of respect in his body except for those who have proved their worth to him, and those few tend to become either unflinching allies or lifelong rivals.

Skills and Abilities: Dominic is skilled with a variety of weapons (Mainly small guns and knives), and is a strong street fighter. He’s also an incredible driver, and a surprisingly quick study.

Magic: Utilizes runes to improve qualities of people and items, like making a car faster or making a man stronger.

Other: Dominic owns and has access to a variety of weapons (Though he generally only carries around a pistol and butterfly knife), and a slick red bulletproof Ferrari that he loves almost as much as much as he loves women.

Command Seal:
Anya's eyes widened as her papa said the bad word. She knew that adults could say it and not children, but she always wondered why. What did it mean? Did it mean anything? Maybe it was some sort of magic adult-only word that grown ups said when something bad happened to make them feel better, and it didn't have any actual definition.

One thing was for sure, though. It sounded really funny and Anya wanted to say it.

But first, she had to help her papa.

"I think most books smell the same, papa," said Anya, "But I could help look. Though I already looked a lot and never found any 'Sir Jerry'."
Anya didn't know why people kept getting confused by Sir Jerry's name, but they did. Maybe it was an odd name for a knight? 'Jerry' didn't sound very heroic, but having a name like that probably only made him want to be the most heroic hero of all. Too bad he would never beat her papa, who was the best and strongest and most heroic forever.

Anyways, her dad really seemed to want this book so Anya walked around the room and started looking for it too. Since he was back, her father probably wanted to read it to her really badly. Anya, of course, wanted to be read to. Also it would be good if they made sure it wasn't stolen; mister Elric would probably be really thankful that they checked, and give them candies.

"Did you find Sir Jerry?" asked Anya excitedly when her father spoke up. It was story time.
"We never found the book," replied Anya, "But he said it was called 'Sir Jerry' with some numbers on the end. He also took a green box, and really wanted the fingerpaints I used."

Anya retrieved the empty fingerpaints bottle and showed it to her father, before something terrible occurred to her.

"You don't think... mister Elric's bad friend was stealing?" asked Anya, her eyes widening. Stealing was bad. If that man was stealing from mister Elric, not only was he not a very good friend, but he was a stealer.
Anya was silent for a second as she stepped back and let her father continue working. She didn't want to bother him with too much hugs, after all. Then it occurred to her that everyone loved hugs, and it probably didn't interrupt cleaning much, so she stepped forward and started hugging again anyways.

"Actually, papa, I haven't seen mister Elric all day. That... that man that was in here said he was sick though. Maybe he was lying? He wanted red fingerpaints and books about knights, but I used all the fingerpaints. And one of the books he wanted. But it was really good art; wanna see?"
Anya continued staring at her father, eyes full of curiosity, but she knew that if her papa was sure it was about accounting, then the book was about accounting. And accounting was really boring, even if it was a minotaur accountant.

"It's OK, papa. I just wanted to make sure you were sure. I know you'd never lie to me," said Anya, walking up to her father who was still cleaning blood off the ground and hugging him, "So you don't need to give me candy, because I know."

Anya still loved candy, however, and wanted to make sure her papa knew that she didn't mind if he gave her some anyways.

"But if you still wanted to give me the candy, I wouldn't mind. I've been pretty good except for maybe spilling some things and making some art in mister Elric's study. And it was good art too, so that wasn't even bad."
Anya quickly placed the bucket down inside the study for her father's use before stepping back outside, where she wouldn't have to look at scary things. Of course, she continued listening intently to her papa to make sure he was OK too. She rushed back into the room when he loudly announced having found an accounting book, however, and watched intently as he placed the volume into a pouch. Luckily, the body was gone so she didn't have to look at that.

"But papa, that doesn't sound like accounting," she proclaimed, "Are you sure it wasn't an adventure book? What did the minotaur reveal? I bet it was his humongous blade! I bet he revealed his humongous blade, and fought a heroic knight or something! With his humongous blade!"

It didn't even occur to Anya that a minotaur would ever pull out a ledger and begin grinding numbers intensely, because minotaurs always had humongous blades and not ledgers.
Anya nodded at her father as he left, and obediently began looking around the shop for a bucket of water to heat up. She didn't want to have to go outside to fetch any, given her condition, but luckily this was a barber shop. She quickly found a bucket which may or may not have had some shavings in it, and started heating it next to the fire place. When that was done, she carried it carefully to the door of the study.

Anya really didn't want to go back in there right now, and just thinking about what had happened made her a bit queasy. She timidly knocked on the door, and called out to her papa.

"I got the hot water, papa! There's a lot of hair in here, but it's probably OK for cleaning."

She paused for a second before adding, with some hesitation, "Do you... need me to go in there and help?"
Anya looked up at her papa after he finished cleaning her up, and gave him a small smile.

"I'm all clean now," announced Anya, "Except for all the filth. We should take a bath soon."

Anya became quiet for a second or two, thinking about various things, before continuing.

"Should we... clean up mister Elric's study before he gets home?" she asked quietly, her mind wandering once again to the dead man in the room. And also to all the things she spilled and drew on.
