It's probably a little out there, but I wanted to really embrace the world and create a Mimic. It's based on my own experience with what Mimics are, however, so if something doesn't jive with your world's version please tell me. Of course, it is a mutant, so there might be some differences.

Name: Mimi
Gender: Genderless, but takes a female form
Age: 4
Race: Mutant Mimic
Character Concept: Organic Mimic

Physical Appearance: Mimi, in her default form, is a horrific amorphous mass of sticky pinkish goop that looks much like a gigantic amoeba. Her default form, however, is quite different from the one she takes most often. Normally, she looks much like a human girl in her mid-teens of average height and weight. She has long, straight black hair and emerald green eyes, and her skin is lightly tanned. She wears a set of dark robes with green outlines that look like landmasses.

Equipment: Robes, a diary, ink and a quill, backpack

Personality: Some of the first words that come to mind when one thinks of Mimi are ‘strange’ and ‘awkward’. Because she is largely unfamiliar with humanoid customs and society, she tends to do things most consider ‘odd’ often. What she has learned, however, was from a kind woman and thus she emulates kindness as well as she can. She takes joy in helping people, and likes to learn more than almost anything else. There is an inherent eagerness to her personality that pervades everything she does. Well, eagerness as well as a profound naivety.

Goals: Mimi wants very much to learn, both about humanoids and about her own Mimic roots. She also wishes to someday fit in to humanoid society. Her greatest goal, however, is to be able to communicate with the World Mimic.

Background: Due to a profoundly rare and strange mutation, Mimi was born an ‘Organic Mimic’, which is to say that she mimics living beings rather than environmental items or materials. One day, after having mimicked many different creatures, she saw something strange that she had never seen before. A Human crossed her path, and Mimi mimicked her. The woman was incredibly confused and defensive at first, but curiously observed the thing that appeared as a smaller version of herself before making any judgements. After a little observation, it seemed like Mimi meant no harm. If anything, the creature seemed almost defenseless. The woman ended up taking Mimi with her, and taught the Mimic all sorts of things that she absorbed like a sponge. Eventually, they worked out what Mimi was, which opened up all sorts of ideas. Were there others besides her? What did this mean for Mimics? What implications could be made about the world? Mimi had to learn more about Mimics, and about herself. To this end, Mimi left on her own journey which the woman endorsed by giving her a home-made cloak to keep warm. It was embroidered with outlines of landmasses, based on Mimi’s idea that the entire world was just a very big Mimic and that she was born to give the World Mimic a form that could explore things like a humanoid, because it was also curious just like her.

Racial Traits: As an Organic Mimic, Mimi can perfectly mimic the forms of similarly-sized animals. She prefers humanoids, but she could also become a dog or a fish. Instead of consuming organic life like Material Mimics, she instead consumes inorganic matter like gold and jewels. She can produce extra limbs similar to pseudopods from her non-amoeba form like Material Mimics do, but hers aren’t as adhesive because she doesn’t need to catch moving things. The acid that she can expel from these appendages to break down material, however, is much more corrosive than a normal Mimic’s. In addition, she is incredibly strong and durable and heals quickly like other mimics. These factors stay consistent throughout her forms, so she’s never stronger or weaker depending on the form she takes.

Known Skills: Mimi can speak Common fluently, as well as communicate with fellow mimics. She has good reading and writing skills, and is an incredible learner. She knows quite a bit about nature as well as bits of various lore, but she hasn’t had the time yet in her short life to learn a large variety of skills.

Known Spells/Powers:
-Negotiation: Mimi can ‘negotiate’ with Dungeon Mimics to change the terrain and layout of an area. Currently, her skills as a negotiator only allow simple things like ‘Lower that platform a bit’ or ‘shrink that pool’. When she becomes better at negotiation, however, she may be able to get a Mimic to create a pool of acid under an enemy or put a number of openings in a labyrinth to make it easier to navigate. This negotiation is not a strict agreement as much as temporarily exerting her own will over localized parts of a dungeon, but she must be able to vocalize her needs for it to work.
Well then, I suppose my perception of the events is just a little different. You have every right to your own views, of course, but my mind remains unchanged. My withdrawal still stands, and once again I wish you the best of luck.
Apologies. I've been busy with college preparations the last couple of days, and after considering a couple of things, I believe I will have to withdraw. Generally, I find that outright kicking a player should be nothing less than a last resort, and it doesn't feel like that here. I mean, if I kicked every player that showed interest in the world I had created by asking a couple of questions or who had assisted me with GMing when I was having a rough time, I'd be right out of good players.

I do have a problem with that, and it makes me wonder if I'll end up getting kicked for asking the wrong question or doing the wrong thing. Things like this lead to an uncomfortable atmosphere, at least for me, which is the reason for my withdrawal.

Once again, I wish you the best of luck in your endeavors despite the circumstances. Have a pleasant evening.
I normally don't involve myself in OOC arguments at all, but I do think that Bee has a point. He did get things moving along when no one had posted in almost a day, and gave me something to do. I don't intend to call your GMing skills or drive into question, Vita, because I don't know you at all, but you said yourself that you were getting headaches and stuff recently. I actually think that it was kind of nice that Bee wanted to help take some of that off your shoulders.

Just my two pennies.
After walking for a few hours, Haruka had finally come to the decrepit palace of an angry person. It occurred to her that prying his door open might make him even angrier, but it had to be done in order to take care of the evil residing in his house. Immediately, Haruka leapt to assist Al with the door.

"Worry not now about breakfast, drunken lady," Haruka called out to Wykes while attempting to pry the door open with Al, "I posses many rations for everyone and also there is alcohol! We will have you fed and drunk quickly after I take care of this, if you so desire."

Surely, the combined strength of the two would quickly take care of the door no matter how stuck. Then, they could adventure and fight evil and perhaps get money. Money was good, because it made people speak more. This was important in order to find whoever murdered her master.
Well, I think it would probably be best to do explanations on the way there. That way we're multitasking, you know? We won't be doing anything else on the trek over, so we won't end up wasting any time. It is the most efficient option IC, I think.
Haruka can easily get swept up in the excitement. Even if she doesn't know anything, she'll barge out the door and lead the way to a place whose location she doesn't even know the first thing about. She can be a little troublesome like that.
Both the big guy and the purple child explained to her about this castle, but Haruka still didn't quite understand. What she wanted to know was why Haldric was so angry, but no one seemed intent on answering. Perhaps nobody knew. Perhaps she would have to find out herself. Also, she guessed that there was evil and money there too. If Haruka knew anything, it was that evil was bad and that she needed more money. Thus, it was decided.

Haruka excitedly rushed out of the tavern behind the big guy and the drunk woman, who was fine now somehow. Either Westerners were also amazing at healing, or else Haruka's skills have become so fantastic that she could mend a broken arm completely in minutes. Either way, it was fascinating to her. She still didn't quite know what was going on, but everyone was really excited and that made her excited too.

"OK," she cried out, "3, 2, 1, let us travel now to our destination!"
Oh, my apologies. I'll make an edit.

EDIT: And done.
Haruka nodded at Al, her tail's wagging slowing somewhat. While she was still excited, as always she was, things seemed to have calmed down a little. This drunken lady was taking having a broken arm like a champion, even for someone as deeply inebriated as her. It was really quite impressive.

"Yes, tall person," Haruka agreed, "We will need much alcohol handy for this woman until the injury heals, for pain reasons. If you would purchase for her a bottle for later, that would be-"

The drunken knight attempted to play with Haruka's ears, and they twitched slightly despite the woman being quite far off.

"Yes, for later. I think that she is well alcoholed at this moment," Haruka finished, nodding. She looked around her and marveled at the diverse Western group that surrounded her. There was even a bird! Truly, the West was a mysterious and strange place. One of them even called her a fox, which made Haruka momentarily consider exactly what her own characteristics meant. Perhaps she was a fox, and she just didn't know it. Kitsune were tricky, after all. So tricky, that perhaps they could even trick themselves.

Entire seconds of introspection happened before Haruka decided that this was too hard for her and stopped. Since Haruka was done with the arm now and the bird was busy with something, perhaps it was time to gather some information.

"Why are you people entering the castle of an angry man named Haldric?" she asked the paladins, "And why is he angry? Did you do something mean to him, and are going to make apology?"
