@samreaper HEYY actually, since Reiko and Kenny are in the same class, they'd already know each other before the zombie apocalypse, correct? Reiko is the kind of person who wouldn't discriminate against others without a proper or personal reason, so perhaps whilst the student body in general shuns away from Kenny, Reiko is someone who acts in a civilized manner around him, regardless. She treats him as how she would with every other person, thus they could be acquainted in such a manner, although we could get them to know each other better when the apocalypse begins - like, i dunno, it wouldn't be too much of a coincidence for them to stick together when shit starts hitting the fan, since they are from the same class. Also, I figured Reiko could use a 'body guard', considering her failure at physical fitness LOLOL.
