Flynn
Stumbling slightly through the forest Fyn headed for the direction of the earth shattering noise she had heard, it was like nothing she’d ever heard before, but considering that she couldn’t remember anything beyond a few minutes ago, that didn’t mean much. Tripping over a root, and face planting into the leaf-mulch, Flynn suddenly wondered; why, if she had wings, was she not using them to fly? Frowning she pulled herself up and looked around; the forest was too dense to take off here, but maybe if she climbed a tree…? Picking the tallest tree, or the one that looked tallest from where she stood, Fyn scrambled up, leaping from branch to branch and swinging herself higher and higher. Reaching the small branches that would never hold her weight Fyn spread her wings, stretching them out to their full length, wider than she was tall, and in one fluid movement she tipped off the branch, falling forwards gracefully, and then she was jerked up as the wind caught her wings, the leathery membranes stretching taught. Whooping, Flynn angled herself toward the smell of salt and, relishing the freedom, she flew.
ARRAN WHITE “What else interests me? Hummm………” Arran thought about it, “Well Music, obviously. And I guess, reading, cooking, and wandering. I quite like sport, but I don’t really play any, Horse riding’s fun but I can never control the horse so I don’t really bother. Watching movies, as long as there’s no romance. I quite enjoy doing a lot of things, but mostly I do it by a moment at a time basis, if it interests me right then, then, I am interested by that. Sad, I know, but it works.” She frowned. “And you.” She stated bluntly, “Right now you interest me. You cuddle her” she nodded at the doll, “In public, but then are embarrassed for being caught. You look lonely but haven’t admitted to it, and you don’t” she paused here for a second “seem to like rich people.” Arran gestured slightly to the boy Xander had been staring at. “Not to mention, you didn’t seem to mind overly much when I just dropped in at your table.”
Stormfyre
The ice wall had shattered, deadly splinters flying everywhere. Storm grimaced and with a slight flick of his hand sent all headed for him of to either side of himself. Using as little magic, with as little showy stuff as possible. Trump cards were better held in reserve. But still, he was curious, sticking his nose in where really he shouldn’t had always been a bad habit of his. His dormant Tiger part was busy telling him to disappear quietly into the forest and watch things from afar, but the Dominant human side was far to nosey for his own good. Hurrying without appearing to, Storm was finally close enough to see the figures properly. Slowing down and trying to look as non aggressive as a slight unarmed human boy could be, he made his way even closer, wanting to get a good look at everyone there.
ARRAN WHITE When you’re like me, Arran thought, you gotta have something to be interested in, even if it was a random person who’d piqued her interest. Xander showed her pictures on his phone of the characters he was describing. All pretty girls. Arran grinned, “No boys what so ever? Sounds like heaven. …Unless of course you’re me and don’t really like girls.” She thought about if for a second, “Although I guess if they’re from a game than they are probably better than real life.” She was smiling sadly again. Today was a good day; as of yet she hadn’t yelled at anyone or disappeared to sob, or rage somewhere. Not to mention Xander was interesting, and for Arran interesting was always a good thing.
ARRAN WHITE Arran listened to Xander smiling slightly. “Mhim, I can see that” she said, smiling outright. “Personally I don’t think I’d be brave enough to cuddle one of those in public, if I had one to cuddle.” Arran thought about it for a second, “Well I do have my teddy, but to cuddle him I’d have to have him.” She frowned for a second, remembering her teddy flung haphazardly across a half-made bed. “Wait… did you say fourth? Than who's the first three? Not that I’d know them if you told me, but I still wanna know!” She perked up there, grinning again; anything to stop the calling spiral into despair, and if there was any day she had to keep floating, it was today. When someone walked into the deli Xander had bared his teeth, not the most obvious gesture but one Arran had picked up anyway. Glancing at the boy who had just walked in, and was looking at his phone, Arran noticed he seemed rich, the sort of rich Arran had lived amongst before, the sort of rich Ben was, the sort of rich that for the most part she hated bitterly. Scrunching up her face Arran could feel the anger building, bubbling up inside, rising, and taking over, an explosion primed to blow. She had to squash it; she had to squash it now. Normally she dispersed her anger or despair with music, loud and fast, the words painting how she felt in bright colours on her heart. Taking a deep breath Arran reined in her anger, calming down, reminding herself that here and now was not the time, and anyway; as far as she knew the boy who’d just walked in wasn’t like the rest, it was always a possibility.
Flynn Blinking groggily the creature opened her eyes. Frowning, she stared at what she saw; the ground and sky had switched places. As this realization hit her she groaned, her wings and back hurt like hell, and her sight was going fuzzy. Attempting to sit up she found that she was hanging from a tree, caught in its branches. Soooo… the sky was still where it was supposed to be, and she was the one upside-down. Stretching her wings and snapping many small twigs, she fought to right herself. Finally the tree gave up and dropped her, head first, to the ground. Smashing into it she looked up, cuorios as to where this was and how she had gotten here. Wait, who was she? That was probably a better question. Glancing down at herself she saw scuffed clothes, worn boots, fighting, fingerless gloves, and a dog tag. Picking the dog tag up and raising it to eye level the creature slowly read what had to be a name: Flynn. Flipping the tag over gave no more information least, none that made sense. So her name was Flynn? She liked that name. Rolling the word round her mouth she pronounced, in a voice that can’t have been used much before;“Flynn. Fllllllllllyyyyynnnnnn.” And she smiled.
Stormfyre Stormfyre paced in a circle, paws kneading the soft sand. Growling he searched his memories to see if he could remember how he had ended up here. Eventually he gave up shrugging, at least as much as a giant silver-white tiger can shrug. Tiger?!!! Why was he in tiger form? Stopping his pacing, he breathed in, calming down. Slowly his muscles started rippling, like a pond after throwing in a stone. Stretching out and up Storm’s bones cracked and changed, elongating in some places, shortening in others, molding and reforming to create a human form. Storm shook his dark hair out of his eyes and glancing along the beach he saw small humanoid figures in the distance. Grinning he headed towards them, in time to see a massive wave rush up the beach and freeze halfway. So the others here weren’t normal either.
Pulled out of roleplay.
Oh…… I get it. well than I, SilverWolfAngel, Wish to fly. Can I turn into a bird now? Please? Anything to fly. Anything. ……Wait that wasn't the point at all was it? Oh well, I do get what you are saying.
ARRAN WHITE Arran listened to Xander, nodding her head, “We have done a few covers, but…” She was interrupted by a hand on her shoulder, twisting in her seat Arran found Kyle standing behind her, “Sorry for interrupting, but you have to go in twenty minutes,” He lowered his voice, “You don’t normally start chatting with strangers, is something up?” Arran grimaced; her appointment. It might have been important but, having nothing to do with music, she had totally forgotten about it. “Ask Ben for a lift, it’ll get you there faster.” And with that Kyle walked away, leaving her frustrated; of course he would have set an alarm, although how he knew about it was beyond Arran. She turned back to Xander, “I’m sorry, you were saying?”
