The pencil scratched gently against the page of Arran’s sketchbook, as she carefully rendered the view from her vantage point; perched on the top of a stonewall. There was something off about the drawing, probably the perspective. If there was one thing Arran hated about having only one working eye; it was that she lost all depth perception. Sighing, Arran packed up her pencils into a metal tin and slipped them into her bag. She knew if she continued trying to draw the cityscape she would get so frustrated that is wasn’t worth it. Flicking back through her sketchbook revealed page after page of good, but not quite right drawings; landscapes, houses, animals, people, vehicles, food, still life, and clockwork, lots and lots of clockwork. Almost every spare corner, gap, nook and cranny was crammed with sketches of clockwork. Closing the book with a snap, Arran dropped it into her bag. Lying back on the wall she stared up at the sky, a sky so wonderfully blue. There was, of course, the skyscrapers towering up in the distance, but here, near the edge of the city, the sky was unobstructed, beautiful. Closing her eyes and lying back on the wall, Arran dozed off, tired after getting up early that morning, due to the dog needing out. Admittedly it hadn't been that early, but for Arran anything before ten was considered early.
Anyone good with song mashups?Ummmm…… no, not really, but I am OK I guess. I have an ear for music; but if anyone definitely knows what they are doing, feel free to take over. Is there any particular part of those songs you want to keep/get rid of? Or can you link/copy paste your CS so I can get a feel for the character as well as the songs? Or even better; do both Oh and finally; is there a time you need it done by?
@Fleeter Can't post much at the moment. We blew our broadband limit way out the water. Borrowing the library's, but sadly I can't live there. So I will attempt to post at least once a day till the end of Feb. Sorry if this is inconvenient.
