It's more like...people like to make cool, quiet people...and then back the fuck off from that personality trait in the actual RP, because the whole concept of a RP is interaction, and it's damn difficult to RP a loner.

I'm doing the loner type very well, then.

Pascale, through 168 posts, has interacted with one person in this whole RP (Rygar). And even then that was like a shady exchange that turned out to be a prank that might go terribly wrong later. She also gave a gesture to Reya who didn't even notice before disappearing from the rest of the group. QQ]

I mean, I didn't intend to make her a sociopath/loner/brooding type gal, she just doesn't actively seek out social interactions. She's more of the, "Eh, I'll just let whatever come to me," type. I also don't think she's quite that quiet when you get her going.

I also do my best to try and not put myself into my characters too much, but that's inevitable. I just try not to overdo it and the characters I like most are usually the ones with the least of me in them. Pascale has my relaxed attitude when it comes to being social. I don't like running up to people and saying, "HI, HOW ARE YOU?" I much prefer to sit back, watch people, and wait until someone decides they want to notice and talk to me. I think that's what I intended to do with Pascale, though I am not at all a trickster, pranky, do stuff for the fun of it, person and I am definitely not unbias when it comes to political issues concerning who I am. I would totally up and kick Isaac in the balls if I were in Pascale's position, were he to make fun of her. Pascale would brush it off, maybe play a harsh prank on him later for some laughs, but wouldn't take it personal as it's a part of the social construct; she can't necessarily do anything about it and she doesn't seek to change anyone's mind. If it so happens that they do, then hurray, awesome. This part is especially hard for me 'cause I really would like to punch Isaac and Arara in the face (in a good way 'cause you guys are doing awesome with the faunus prejudice thing).

number one reason i like not to have personalities on the CS gives more room to develop the character how you want.

I'm weird and like to make sure I have a solid understanding of how I want a character to be.

If I don't write up a personality section, then they're going to be uninteresting, dull, and stupid. That's how I see my characters and their personalities. Even if I stray from the personality I've constructed almost immediately, it will still be a thousand times better than any character I make without a planned, structured, and well thought out Bio and Personality section. I suck at developing a foundation for a character on the fly; I have to sit down and think about a character that will interest me and keep me interested in an RP.

It's how I judge if I'll be able to stick with an RP from beginning to end, really. If I can't make a character I find really interesting, then I drop out of the RP completely because I know if I whip up something half-assed, I'm not going to stay past the first page. I need to love the characters I make and that means spending a good few hours, maybe a day, making one from top to bottom. I'm a picky perfectionist when it comes to my own creations. >_>

Hue. Re-reading all the personalities makes me realize how contradictory a lot of the personalities and IC actions have been.

I tried my best. T_T Maybe... if how Pascale acts has been contradictory to her personality. >_> <_< If not, then... all planned and calculated. *Cough*

Put names into the Participants section after clicking "start a conversation with blah blah blah," separated by commas. Or maybe it's semicolons... either one.

At least I've fully inserted myself into this iteration. You'll never pry me from this thread... or at least the OOC part. *Cough* I've yet to have Pascale do anything too crazy and memorable. It'll happen, doe... it shall.

And, yeah, now that I think about it, it might be pest to keep some characters to themselves or doing something that doesn't require a stated resolution that'll take up more time. I'll keep Pascale to herself, then, to keep from the 2nd day awesome team making stuff.

Well I've never acually been in a roleplay here they never got started before the site went down so i didn't really know what to expect ^^;

A lot of roleplays are much slower than this and thus they die off quickly.

We got to 9 (168 posts) in a little over a week. The average RP here (from my viewpoint) get to about a page or two in this time frame. It may be some filler, but we have gotten a lot, a lot, a lot farther than most RPs. :3 We should be proud of our accomplishment and keep the ball rolling.

As for Pascale, I'm not sure if she'd necessarily be the type to actively seek out people, but if anyone wishes to converse with her, feel free to stop her along the way. She's just walking and I don't particularly care where she is in her journey for food, if anyone does wish to interact with neko-lady Puss in Boots.

Like... you permit everyone to take advantage of Rygar and only use him for his body?

And you make a good point, ERode, we may need Arara's super richness to nullify Isaac's entitled rich ass. Pascale can cheer from the sidelines, despite Arara's protests. Mwuaha.
