Thanks guy for the encouragement, I'm determined to get something done today - be it more banners or writing.Though Sonder is gone, a shame yes, that's one thing I don't have to do at least. Best wishes, of course.I won't make half-ass promises on where I'm at in the process of either of my responsibilities, I know it can become annoying and looks bad on my part. BUT ARCH, YES, WE MUST FINISH THAT THING TONIGHT/endcapsBecause that's where my mind is at for Mags and I can't seem to pull away from it.Anyways, I agree with Ex on this one. New characters is all fine and dandy, but we have to make exceptions of introduction [and it seems forced?] and at this point we can do without new recruits. Hate to see some original players gone entirely, but such is the way of things.

Yeah I feel ya. I'm trying to stop making myself deadlines and people promises of posts because that sets me up for failure and I honestly don't mind letting myself down. Though I think that may be some deep psychological issue. I've been busy though with work and stressing about how I'm gonna afford a plane ticket to a friend's wedding this December. ;_; so I'm a little out of it until everything is certain on my end. So, my posts may be erratic, but I'm positive I'll steady out and get back into a rhythm. I do enjoy TSW and I'd have to fight myself if I wanted out. And Ex. I'd have to fight him too.

@Mizuho Thanks a lot for the help. I edited what you said. I will try to sound better...but... It may not work so easily out. About the advances rp, I would still stick around, that is if my English is acceptable for that level. I was told that it wasnt good enough in a few rps of that level. So yeah... Its up to you ^^

Hey, everyone's gotta start somewhere! I don't think any of us would mind you still joining if this moves over to advanced. :)

I have an interesting idea for a character that is kinda young if that is okay

We do have spots available, yes. I dunno how many people Miso wants exactly, but shoot your idea over to her or just post the CS here.

You all can have more than one character, by the way. :o I think, if you feel inclined to make more it might be best if they're attached to one of the characters whether that means they're a spouse or what, is up to you. Though, I don't think Miso would mind a second character being up for the prize. Just throwing that out there just in case. ;)

I was totally hyped for this when I started reading, but using real people's photographs isn't something that flies with me, morally speaking. Would it be acceptable for me to just go the extra mile with their written description, rather than give up on a potentially enjoyable roleplaying experience?

NO YOU MUST ADHERE TO THE RULES OF THE ROLEPLAY TO THE LETTER! D:< D:< D:< D:< :D< :D<:< D:<

I'm only kidding; I'm not the GM (if I join her RPs, it's usually me or another friend of hers she asks to Co-GM for her, heh, so it's second nature for me to help out when she's busy) or anything, but I'm positive that Miso wouldn't mind anyone just writing a detailed description. I could probably take down the picture I'm using and the paragraphs under would be sufficient enough, if that's any reassurance. ^^ Miso just has a preference for real pictures over anything drawn (particularly in an anime style), something about Japanese heritage and the like. I'm being dismissive about it, so as not to be an ass because I'm sure she'd like to explain certain things herself, rather than leaving it up to someone else. XD

But, no, yeah, I don't think she'd mind a well-written description for a character, at all. :) I understand people have issues either personal or otherwise in regards to using pictures for fictional characters, real or otherwise. Whether that be it just being weird cause it's an actual person in the actual world or having a problem using a picture without permission or credit to the artist or photographer. I'm positive Miso likes to respect people's preferences without prying. ^^

Hear ya loud and clear Mizuho! I've got a character that should be completed soon-ish, im between that, another CS, and an advanced RP right now so im trying to take things one at a time. I'll post here for the time being, but im onboard with moving to advanced if possible.Sixsmith! I didn't know that, but it does make quite a lot of sense. I discovered the office around the time Steve was working on the 40 year old virgin, haha. Still a pain to know it's ended :(

I know, I grew up watching the Office, or at least, I kinda did. I think it'd be better to say that I grew with it, rather than that I grew up with it (since I'm older than that, but like... whatever. >_> I'm not old, at all). I wish I wasn't so attached to it as I was; it still gives me soft fuzzy feelings that I love and hate at the same time. ;_; I didn't want it to be over, but they left on a very, very solid note that I wish wasn't a solid note so that they could do a Season 10. :( I need more Jim and Pam in my life.
I'm assuming Miso has her hands tied wth school and all that good stuff , but if you want to dish out a wife for him, I don't think she'd be opposed to the idea. :)

Also, Steve Carell only signed a 7 season/year contract to stay on the office. When people sign onto shows as leads that's usually it. They're obligated to work within the parameters of their contract so finding things outside of the show that's fits in the schedule is tricky business. Carell was most likely getting a lot of offers for movies while acting in The Office and when his contract was over, he decided to pursue those instead of continuing two more seasons under a new contract. It's a sad he wanted to go, but shows can constrict and limit what you do, so I understand his desire to leave once the contract was up.
Sorry I haven't dipped my head in here to tell everyone I'm still alive.

I'm having some difficulties myself with getting a post up. Don't quite know what to do with Loral just yet and that might be writer's block on my end. >_< I'll try my best to whip something up soon, though. Again, sorry for the slight bout of silence.

I don't enjoy horror films either, but I can watch Jennifer's Body. I saw the gore parts of it once, but whenever I re-watch it, I fast forward through all that stuff. I tried to watch 'Deliver us from Evil' the other day, as I enjoy the religious themes, but turns out it was just another exorcism flick with cheap jump-scares. The good thing was that the jump-scares were really predictable, so I could just fast forward through those as well!

I would suggest watching The Conjuring if you enjoy religious themes. It actually made me cry in the end. Not of fear, if that's what you're thinking. It was a really good movie with a fantastic ending and a fantastic plot. I enjoyed it thoroughly and it had like one jump scare, but it wasn't cheap; it was kinda necessary, even if it did scare the complete bejeesus out of me. The rest of the movie was scary, but in a different way than most horror flicks nowadays try to scare their audience. It's intelligent, cleverly composed cinematically (notawordbutwhatever), and the 'scares' (which, let's face it, was the entire movie; it was just one big scare ;_;) was plot-driven. The director actually said that he hates cheap-jump scares and tactics used to get the audience riled up, instead of actually terrified.

Unless, of course, you have problems with the aftermath of watching a scary movie, like I do. I had trouble sleeping for a good while. ._. It's very much a psychological horror, I think that's the term. It's a horror that's very effective and I would call a far cry from being cheap. In terms of religion, it's very much tied to the main character's faith and end very beautifully too with a deep religious subtext. The story could stand on its own without it being scary, to be honest.
