What about poisons/sicknesses and such? Does his Aura also activate in response to ailments? If you just have to treat him as that mushroom-dude from Vinland Saga, it should be fine then.I just want the villains that Nef has planned to be a threat without being stupidly OP. Sorta ruins the whole nefarious intelligent villain idea if you have a teacher who basically just loltanks through everything and then returns all that damage back to you.

I honestly expect the villains to be on par with anyone who made an OP character (Ailein). I actually had the idea for a villain, though not sure if Nef already made her, that would possibly aid in giving the villains a cunning and intelligent type. I made two already who were kinda throwaways and even then they could Rofl-stomp Ailein. Nef okay'd them, so I don't... I don't think they're OP. I mean. >_> They might be. Shet. You know what, you'll all see regardless, so I'm not gonna give anything away that might kinda be like... you know. *Shrug*

As for poisons and sickness, I'm sure the semblance doesn't kick in if he's sick or poisoned, but if he were to get harmed and his semblance kicked in, I'm pretty sure it would at least dull it enough to not be too harmful. It depends on how long it takes for the poison to be lethal, if he ever decided, "Oh, I'm poisoned, so I'll just hurt myself," 'cause if it outlives the semblance, then yeah, he'd die from it almost immediately after.

It's because they want to pretend that they're in Arena and try to justify making a bunch of OP characters that will get oneshot by Cororo later. Asura. And yeah, reducing gravity might actually mess him up, because the easiest way to kite a melee is to knock him high and far into the air and laugh as they cry about their shit range.

It's boredom and I liked the Sir Gawain and the Green Knight story enough to make a character.

*Shrug* I did the same thing with the Chinese Goddess of the moon, but she's not OP shit monkies, just a brooding bitch who has a cool enough looking weapon. If I wanted to compare it to anything...

Uh... >_> and I just realized half of this, it's pretty much what one would get if you combined Varus and Diana's weapons and gave it a transformation function so it didn't look weird as fuck.

No, Rawr, you have to consider the fact that you wouldn't even know what his semblance is. Think back to all the RWBY stuff before. Every student pretty much has firearms as an enhancement of their melee capabilities. All things considered, I doubt players will just be able to meta-knowledge their way out of suddenly knowing to kite Alan, and if he just does a douchebag move such as tank their first melee hit and then grab onto them while doing so...loludedbro.I'm curious though. Is he also invulnerable when it comes to concussions and sleeper holds and such? If, say, he get's grappled in a way that locks up his joints and prevents movement, yet he isn't actually getting hurt by it, can his Semblance still apply?

His Semblance only applies to him being physically harmed, so he'd be susceptible to being knocked unconscious that way.

The speed problem can be solved by a teacher I'm building that has gravity manipulation... I think Ailein and him could be good friends."what's that? you're too slow?" *1/4s the effect of gravity on Ailein*

Would be easier to make a singularity, 'cause reducing gravity in his area doesn't necessarily increase his velocity... just makes his armor feel less heavy and he'd just jump a tad higher. It'd be like wading through water without having physically passing through something.

It's just a matter of staying out of his range... which is kinda harder when I noticed his axe has a ranged function that is connected to the axe and thus connected to him and thus able to reciprocate the damage....

I forgot that I put any offensive attack. I hadn't intended its use to be anything but pretty much a thing to reel people in to make up for his terrible speed.

Would it be easy to say that it's shoots out on its own, meaning that when it hits, it's not connected to him at all, but after it hits, it connects via some mechanism or some shit to drag the person back? I don't know where I'm going with that.

It shoots out like an arrow.

After it hits its target, it extends a rope that connects back to the ax and then reels the target back into him so that he can make use of his semblance?

If that makes sense at all?

Doesn't really matter how op someone else is If somebody swings a guillotine mallet at him and goes to lob his head, but he survives it and kills them with a poke of his axe by redirecting all damage, heals and the fight is over there and then. Stamina doesn't really come into play when you're immortal, can reflect anything, can reflect damage from OTHER things then have no negatives aside from 'whoo, boy. i'm pooped now.' Most people are pooped after they annihilate something.

I'll take away the flinch factor, I guess. But, I mean, that'll work on one person. If it's a group fight and you see your friend Omega Death a guy and he gets up to redirect that, there's a chance you aren't gonna want to avenge his death immediately. He doesn't have the speed, in anything really, to catch anyone, he has a swing of death if you decide to waste whatever nuke you got, but that's not gonna come in like a proverbial wrecking ball that can break the sound barrier. It's going to take one idiot to go up and attempt to shoot a point-blank death laser for everyone else to learn that attacking him means empowering his own attacks. If you aren't faster than he is, then it might be wise to just attempt to block and stall for as long as possible.

If you hit someone and it doesn't hurt them, chances are you aren't going to keep hitting them, you're going to wait and see if they reveal a stark weakness. His being that he's slower than the average hunter and this drains his aura incredibly fast and he has no control over it. Once it's on, it's on until its drained every bit of stamina, energy, and aura from his body and when it's done, it leaves him pretty much dead for a day. I mean, that's a huge ass weakness, if you ask me. If anything, he's a designated Grimm killer. If someone goes up against him and it's a 1-on-1 and the person is smart enough to discern his ability, then he's going to lose that battle indefinitely.

But, I honestly can make it an activated semblance that has a one time use until his aura has completely refreshed, which is going to take at the very least a day, but most likely more. It's like adrenaline. And it's not, "Oh, I'm pooped," it's more like, "I feel like I'm about to die, so I'm not going to move from this spot for as long as is necessary to recover." If someone prolongs a fight with him, and with the majority of the freshman students who are relatively fast in reflexes and their feat that's a shit ton of people, then they're free to walk up after he collapses to then guillotine mallet his face then. It's not perpetual, it's until every bit of his aura runs out, so he's immortal for a duration and when it ends, he might as well have dug his own grave during the whole fight.

....So, he's able to sustain mortal wounds without flinching, redirect those wounds on to anything he touches, heal himself back to full health, and if they don't want to attack him, he can poke a tree, cut the tree in half, poke the person and have them split in half.

Sh, he can't inflict harm unto himself or something he's touching and be like. "BOOM, YOU DEAD."

SHUT YOUR DICK. B.B. rapes people.

I'll make him a villain and you guys can have fun killing off someone who's unkillable.

I'll admit, I got carried away, but I really wanted something that was closely tied into those two characters. QQ And the Green Knight pretty much comes into Arthur's castle throne room ball house place hall of dining and is like, "'Ey betches, lemme just cut my own head off and throw it in your face. Ohwait, wanna be drunk ass idiots and fling my giant ax around and possibly, maybe, you know, cut off my head again? Trolololol."

Granted, he'd be lugging himself around in a suit of armor with a slightly outdated weapon. Most people who would ever try and attack a Beacon teacher head on would probably be remarkably strong themselves. And most people in the RWBY world can miraculously jump, run, and attack at the speed of light without losing stamina. QQ It's a matter of hitting the guy once, saying, "Oh shit, that woulda killed him," and being like, "Nvm, I'll wait this bitch out." And after the duration of a regular battle, duel, whathaveyou, his aura is fully drained and he pretty much just hands you his own weapon so you can pretty much kill him off yourself. But, I mean, I understand that that isn't necessarily out there and free information. He's pretty much, if you look at it, a berserker who, at first glance, looks like a combination of both Wolverine and Juggernaut. *Shrug* I'm tempted to give him much larger drawbacks to balance the whole thing out, maybe make it the kind of semblance he has to tap into whenever something happens, kinda like an actual beserker, instead of having the powers fully and it simply activates whenever he gets hit.

Any suggestions, other than totally scrapping the semblance 'cause I know there are ways to make it less... Omega Over Powered.
Okay, okay, this is the semblance and weapon of a teacher I made yesterday.

I'm just...

Before Nef cruelly breaks it down and calls me a worthless noob hobo, I just want to know if this is... a little... OP. *Cough* It's a teacher, keep that in mind. His name isn't pronounced Alan, but just... for the sake of Gaelic speaking people everywhere, just pronounce it Alan.

If you were stupid enough to take AP English, then... well, no, my AP English teacher was eccentric and we kind just read whatever she felt like making us read. Sir Gawain and the Green Knight was one of those and, if you read it, then I'm sure you'll understand what I pulled from the story. I know Gawain =/= Green Knight. I just want to know if there's anything that needs clarifying or if I need to tone something down... possibly quite a bit. *Cough* Because I think Nef may have died and needs resurrecting and I'm bored and antsy. A pimp needs to be able to keep his girls in check though.Aesil eats mountains for fun. What does Pascale do?

Make money off of it.

If Aesil opened up a glory hole, Lyndsey better open up a clinic instead. That'll get her tons of money as all the men in Beacon go to her to heal their shark-tooth-lacerated dicks.

^ Set up shop right outside the boys' bathroom.

Pascale shall serve as Aesil's pimp and financial something or other and Lyndsey's head nurse.
