Yeah, well. I mean we have quite a bit of stress too. I can't count on both hands the amount of times my parents have asked me if I'm going to be deployed soon.

I imagine that's always something to worry about. I can't really compare college life to the military, 'sides that it helps pay for college. Ah, there's always something to worry about in everything we do, though. Guess it all depends on how we deal with it.

Yeah, it's the fact that you seem to have your life better planned out than my own and aren't wasting your money trying to find out what you wanna do. >_< First year of college is difficult, especially when you find out you may not really want to do what you previously planned on doing your whole life. Changing majors seems like the simple solution, especially since I've been doing required courses and prerequisites required of everyone... But I dunno what I could find myself really enjoying and doing to viably switch my major. I'm almost three quarters into my first year too. Gah...

When you've got parents freaking out already, it adds to the stress already accumulated. Would be simple to tell em to shut up, but they're worry is legit... and I don't make a habit out of disrespecting my parents.
