OK, here is the idea I talked about with Mizuho - she is working on the IC, so asked me to post it. There is a lot of stuff I need to fill in for this to work, so hopefully you guys can help me if you like it.Let's say that Eliza is Acacia's closest friend, almost as popular and beloved, etc, etc. As the year opens, Acacia is drawn into some sort of cheating scandal - something so serious that she might have to repeat a year or change schools, and so convincing that even Hayden and others believe it. Acacia of course protests her innocence, and Eliza believes her though nobody else seems to. The story would therefore revolve around Eliza trying to track down the truth, and the people responsible trying to cover their tracks (and maybe deal with Eliza as well). I'm thinking that Acacia might be taking the fall for something to prevent something even worse from happening to her family or the school, but I don't know what that would be yet. As is my wont, I think we could make this as multifaceted and complex as possible, and thereby get everybody involved.What do you all think?

I think it's a little farfetched for a high school roleplay, to be perfectly honest...Not the cheating scandal part, that stuff does happen, but this cheating scandal ending up in a conspiracy that threatens her family and the Academy? Eh, just a bit too out there if you ask me.

Doh, but you don't understand how underhanded and manipulative big-head, corporate people can be. D: Acacia, being the youngest, is the weakest link; who wouldn't take advantage of that to take down a very largely powerful and wealthy family? And possibly topple a few others as well?

I mean, to be honest, a lot of High School RPs die, who knows for what reason, but it could be for a lack of a solid, driving plot. =( I'm not saying a character driven story can't work, it just takes a lot more dedication and effort than something that has a driving force in and of itself.

Nahhh, I have two characters in another RP, and dear god it's a logistics nightmare. Especially since the GM insists upon making what were once supposed to be relatively low-profile characters into main characters driving the plot. Then again, I blame the co-GM for that, because she always makes her character have laughably inadequate levels of confidence, resulting in everybody else having to pick up the slack.

Well, this story is character driven (and slightly plot driven now that someone added a pseudo-villain to the mix. *Cough* Alice *Cough* Drug Cartel *Cough*)

Sucks that there's only one coworker he can date, unless he's extra promiscuous. But, Hayden has his eyes on someone with less of a commitment issue and Flynn doesn't open up easily in both a romantic and platonic way. @_@
