Entropy and Other Dilemmas

It's Wednesday tomorrow, right? Yeah.

It doesn't matter to me. My only suggestion is to keep your bio for your character generally open enough because I intended the pilot to be established within the group already, but not the co-pilot. The co-pilot's a new guy. If you word it a certain way, you can get by with probably inserting a sentence or two to denote either.

Just in case I don't find a pilot by Friday. Because that would be bad for all of us. *Sad Face*

That does, however, give me more time to plan out the RP. :D So that I can guide you all correctly and solidly throughout it all and keep everyone interested.

I have a few scenarios in the works, but they may be a bit aways from the start of the RP.

Then we have the manual pilot who makes sure we don't veer into the nearest gravity well and die.

That's okay for me to say because, you know, I'm gay.

That's unimportant. What is important, is that we get this started. We need an actual Pilot before we do that, but if we get that, we should be set. I may have to ask someone to join for that, sadly, since I think this is all we got so far. Yeah, I know, sad face. But we have our Techie, so yay. Hopefully, he won't have any trouble with the hole holographic magiblets and stuff that he has to do half-assedly because he's a mule. Heheh, see wut I did thar? No, but he's a horse.

As long as you stay way below the acid trip line, and you have an idea on how you want to develop Hay as a character, then I will accept him. But only on the premises, and maybe the premise that he won't piss all over the caret. Other than that, I don't see why not... most of it is holographic

Do you have a general direction you want to go with him? As in, like, with the crew and stuff? Just so I get a solid idea of how you see him as a character.

Take your time!

The above post was just me remembering that a lot of RPs are slow to start, IC wise, and I wanted to make sure this isn't quite that slowish. I want to set a good pace, but I don't want to rush people.

But, if you're still dealing with finals and college and skewl, then ignore any posts I make that pesters people into hurrying up. That goes for any real life thing, actually. But, the rest of you sorry lot: I want your asses in fucking gear. D:< No, not really. We're only in a rush to get to the IC if we're all, as a collective, either dying to get to it or have absolutely nothing to do. Or things are beginning to drag.

Also: I talk a lot, especially OOC talk. I have no special rules against chatting it up in the OOC. I will link important things in the first post and I will sift through EVERYTHING you all talk about in the OOC. I'm serious. I have nothing better to do. So, if you chat and your question gets buried in it, then don't worry because I will find it and I will respond to it when I get the chance.

So, get to know each other. The more we bond in the OOC the more dedicated we are. And the more you fall into my trap. If you all become good friends and one of you up and leaves, then we get to brand you that one jerk-hole who let all of his/her friends down. No one wants to be a jerk-hole, so people are then less inclined to leave. :D And if the OOC is a good place to hang out, then you've already got more incentive to stick around.

Don't be afraid to be super active in this OOC. There are no worries that questions or CSes will fly by my head because I make it a habit to read and reread posts. I even go back and reread stuff just in case someone edits their post. And then I edit my post and it's a vicious cycle. Most people, when I edit, miss my edit... which is sad face for me. But I won't miss your edits. :( I promise?

Should I make a Depository to drop CSes in? I dunno. *Shrug* I think it's a habit I should form. Makes it convenient and easier.

Once I get the Janitor on board and someone takes our Techie, then we should be relatively good to start. I can maybe wait for the Co-Pilot, but I do want everyone to know that we can fly and deliver without some of the crew spots filled. As long as I get the people who can actively run the ship without it exploding.

Hopefully, we can get the Techie on board either by today or tomorrow so I can start immediately after.

Oh, wait, I need an actual pilot too... shit.

The weapons are actually somewhere in the storage area on the maintenance deck. It wouldn't make sense for them to be in the actual room they were designed to be in.
