Well happy to be joining this forum. As the title says, I've been roleplaying for a long time. As in, just about (counts fingers) twenty-six years or so. I enjoy writing, and am a detailed, literate writer who has been complimented on his sense of detail and character building. I enjoy being creative in my writing, and what I like about RP is the ability to feed off the other person's creativity.
As for what I like to RP... I'm really quite eclectic. I cut my teeth on World of Warcraft, so of course fantasy/medieval RP is right up there. However, I also enjoy scifi, modern day RP, and other historical time periods, be they 1940s or otherwise. I have experience in 18+ RP and clean RP.
