"I know you will..." Edge grinned charmingly. There was something oddly dangerous about him now. Not the danger you would find in a criminal, but the insanity you would see in a psychopath. For some reason, it just made him a bit more interesting. The king of all hydras knew his heart would be safe with Path. Or, at least, he hoped it wasn't a mistake to reveal his weakness. Suppose Path told the Elders? What would they do to him? They didn't understand him... Path probably didn't even understand him.
The only ones who really related to him were the hydras. However, it was Edge's turn to try and understand the elders. At Path's solumn words and tears, the boy held him close. Skylark haf also moved to where they were and was rubbing his Father's back lovingly.
"Don't cry because it's over, anime because it happened." He advised, letting a bit of wit escape him. Edge smiled softly. "Your mother sounds amazing." He bit his bottom lip. "I don't think I ever had parents. You should be glad you did. Now that I'm a daddy, I don't really know what I'm supposed to do or anything like that. Path... I..." He locked eyes with his mate.
"I can't keep rejecting the hydra. There aren't that many of them, so we're all very close. I know you can't understand, but they're my family," At that point, Skylark interrupted. "But Daddy, we're your family! You can't leave us!!! RIGHT, SLEIPNIR?" Edge snickered.
"I won't leave you two... come to Daddy." He spread his arms out and Skylark dashed to hug him.

Edge swallowed thickly as he followed Path into the bedroom. Why did he suddenly feel so nervous? He had been with Path for about half a year already. There was no need to be nervous. For some reason, Edge couldn't help but think that the white dragon didn't trust him. It was plausible, now that he knew his mate was a hydra, Path was afraid.
Edge would have to be the same mate he had always known. The last time he fought, it ended with his death. Though Edge knew firsthand he was immortal, he was also scared of Path. For his mate was the only one who could truly kill him. Now that Edge's memories had returned, he was rather satisfied with himself. He had committed some really violent crimes and attacks, but it was all for a reason he couldn't help but agree with.
As his love spoke, Edge nodded in understanding. As he finished, Edge reached out and took his hands n his own tenderly. With lips and teeth that ripped open hearts, Edge kissed the skin on top of Path's hand. "This must be hard for you, too. You're scared." Edge said mysteriously. "I... can feel your heart beating faster... and faster..."
He crawled even closer to Path. "Be still, and know that I am the king of all the hydra. Feel relief, for I am in love with you and wouldn't harm the ground you walk on." Edge took a deep breath. He needed to talk like he was younger than Path, but found it silly. "I am also afraid, because you are the only one that can kill me. And so long as I live, more Hydra will be born."
Edge bit his lip. It was time to spill. "Allow me to prove my trust to you, my love. You elders can never kill the hudras unless you walk forth with love and affection. You see... we hydra can only die of a broken heart." With that Edge was silent for a while before he carefully asked, "Path-Path, what was your mother like?"

Skylark whimpered and hugged Father as Daddy fought. Edge had never shown his kids this side of him before. There was evil and darkness and doom hidden in Daddy's heart, and it scared him greatly. He could be over thinking the situation, but the chances were unlikely. Skylark wanted to live a happy life forever, but it was apparent that was not going to happen. Daddy was scared of something. What could scare Daddy? The strong male that was his father... The one who belonged to Path. Skylark felt a few warm tears as he hugged Daddy's leg. "Waah!" He cried.
Edge's eyes softened as he patted his son's head. He was reminded of his family, and smiled. He needed to lose himself. "Daddy loves you." He promised before turning back to Path and licking his lips. Path kissed so much more intensely than Charon. Charon's love was unguarded, while Path's was not. Curiously, the hydra pondered why this was so. He knew Charon would be fine, and stepped closer to Path. "Yes, I want to fight alongside you and defend our young."

So before I really get started, I should introduce myself, shouldn't I? Hi! You can call me Sky. ('cause, you know, that's my name...) Anyways, I don't have a shortage of RPs or anything, but I had a few ideas for some, and if I didn't write them down this second, I'd lose them. Before we get to the fun stuff, I'd like to request you do read everything I write here. First of all, I want people who can write advanced for a reason. By advanced, I don't mean people who write upwards of seven paragraphs each post, every post. If you do that, I'll think you're a robot trying to take over the world and not respond at all. *In all seriousness, I love reading, so I encourage you to write pages and pages... It's just most people don't like to. Likewise, you can post three times a day, presuming I can keep up!* Well, maybe for the sake of curiosity, but here are some guidelines to keep in mind!
1. If you're looking for someone who is able to post every day, that is not me. However, I do post eventually, usually every two or three days, but I can be more or less active.
2. I only do thread role plays. I've tried and failed at PMs. I cannot commit to them, and they get lost with all the nonsense PMs I get.
3. I do smut, but only through PMs. I know I just said I don't do PMs, but I can keep up with smuts because the scenes are usually part of a whole.
4. Communicate with me, please. I need to know if I'm pissing you off or anything! Believe me, I care about meeting my partner's standards, too.
5. Right now, all I really want is a good MxM. If you have an awesome plot, share it with me!
6. If we are doing dom/sub, I like both, but prefer dom.
My point is, I'm looking for a few people who are adept at creative writing. You aren't expected to use metaphors and similes all the time, though keep the posts interesting. I will personally post, on average, the equivalent of four paragraphs. When describing setting, I'll post longer, and during a conversation, I'll post shorter lengths. Above all else, literacy is key. Even if you're starved for an idea, present it in a nice way. I know we're all pretty much either adults or young adults, so I don't see a logical reason why you can't use apostrophes, capitalization, and periods. The occasional mistake is fine, I'm not that kind of person who stresses over everything. Again, I just have a few pet peeves and improper grammar and punctuation is a big one.
My only other real one is lack of feeling. If you're only baking your posts for a little while, I can tell. Trust me. Have writer's block? Go for a walk, see a movie, indulge in chocolate-covered blueberries! I'll still be here. I don't mind waiting a week if I have to, because quality posts do take time. Then again, when you slap 'advanced' right there in the title, you attract a bunch of geniuses. Of course, I think everyone is a genuis in their own right, so that point was a little null. I'm looking for people who are looking for someone long-term, where we can plan arcs in the OOC without it being awkward and dry. Also, I'm no good with mature plots. I can do nitty-gritty sadness and anger, but not rape, excessive drugs, graphic gore, or anything like that. Especially if it's being used as a central plot device. Mentions are fine; details are not.
Now, onto the most important aspect in role playing a 1x1. (in my opinion, at least...) This is your talent as a world-builder. Can you make memorable NPCs? Original side plots and settings? Realize that the 1 and 1 are you and me- not our characters! *To prove you read this, make your PM to me titled your starsign. I probably won't reply otherwise. Mine's Aries, by the way...* I expect you to be able to control several characters in addition to your 'main' love interest. Of course, these are side characters and less focus is on them, but there are more than 2 people in a universe. I don't expect us both to have ten characters per post, but we should both talk to ourselves sometimes. We have the most freedom in a 1x1, because you have a partner to create a whole universe. If you're not contributing anything but one character, I won't be happy. I'll tell you if you need to step up; do the same for me. People who can make smooth plot twists are people I most certainly look up to! Now, the plots. I have a few, but if you have any, please don't be afraid to suggest them! The worst I can say is no way in hell!
