Although 6 is kind of a lot, I don't see why not. Four is a lot more reasonable to me. It's up to you if you want 6 or 4.
I was about to say that no replies in almost 24 hours makes me a sad, but Tearstone put up his sheet.

Anyways, a small bit of enemy intel has been posted in the OP. More will come as we progress in the RP.

Yeah, take a look at the opening post. Your character is under the Roster, meaning he's accepted. Keep an eye on the OP every once in a while, I'll be updating it with various stuff from time to time.

Either way is fine, but I have some designs that may need their ranges adjusted.


Kinetics get rock throwing range, about a couple hundred kilometers. Energy Weapons get about twice that range.
I'd say the longest ranged weapons in the Alliance would go up to 2 thousand kilometers or something.

So, a bit of a mix between cinematic and realistic, leaning on the cinematic rock throwing side.

Updated the Ship sheet with a size thing. Loki, could you add the size of the ship in your sheet? Length is fine. Sorry, but since you're the first person to make a sheet, yours is what I'm using to fix what's missing.
Almost chuckled at a 75 crew DN, should really update the catalog with typical crew sizes

ANNOUNCEMENT:
You can make as many edits as you want to your character sheet until we start the IC. When we launch the IC, you can ask me, or the Admiral, for changes to your ship. Like more guns, different shuttles, etc. When we finish a mission and go into dock, the changes will be made to your ship then.

Loki, please add an appearance to Admiral Gralius, and an age. As for the Away Mission, an Away Mission is whenever the Captain of the ship leaves the ship to go to a hostile or unknown world. Typical Away Mission equipment includes a personal defense weapon, a scanner, perhaps a specific set of protective clothing, etc.

2034 - The first interstellar human exploration ship leaves Sol.
2040 - First contact with an Alien race.
2118 - The Alliance is officially formed, as dozens of alien races join.
2119 - The Alliance enters a golden age of science, exploration and understanding.
2185- The Alliance makes first contact with The Thresh Empire.
2187 - War breaks out as diplomacy fails.
2192 - Earth is under siege.


This is a Space-Combat RP with a very heroic tone to it. With the rise of more Space Sim games, like Elite Dangerous and Star Citizen, I got this idea of an RP where we play as ship Captains. You choose your ship type, flesh it out with crew, weaponry, and all that sort of stuff. We also need one Admiral, to command the Fleet, mostly directing where the next battle will be. The Admiral will also be the Co-GM of sorts.

The very rough version of this story is that Humanity finally started to explore space, setting up colonies, and making alliances with various alien species. Very Star-Trek-esque beginning. Until Humanity met a race that could not be reasoned with, war broke out and the Alliance that the humans established is so far losing the war. Our RP starts several years into the war, with the enemy currently invading one of the cornerstones of the Alliance, the Sol System. This is where we push them back.

When the IC Starts, you can change stuff on your ship, just ask the Admiral, or the GM, and the changes will take effect in the time between Operations!

We're taking a much more cinematic approach to everything. However, you can take certain hard-science aspects and do stuff with it.

In the OOC,, there will be a catalog of common ship classes and weapons. These are just suggestions. If you want to fly a Warbird, which is not in the common ship catalog, you can make your ship a warbird. Go ahead. As for Quantum/DarkMatterEnergy technology, most of that sort of stuff would be mostly experimental and in the prototype stage. If you want prototype technology on your ship, I'm fine with it. As long as it's not super amounts of OP.

For your designs, if you want, you can PM me the content, with some lore behind it, and I'll put it in the catalog. For example, your designs could be the product of a specific alien race, or a specific shipyards, that sort of thing. I'm taking a very laid back approach to this RP.
