Elann nodded kindly to her mother in law and watched in silence as she instructed Ryon to go get a barrel of ale from the cellar. Elann vaguely knew the term, so her eyes somewhat followed Ryon to see just where the cellar was. Once she knew, she returned her gaze forward.

"Aimee would say that," Elann joked with a smile.

"We pushed hard to get here sooner, even through the rain on some days. We had a very driven wagonmaster."

Her eyes trailed in brief to Noah to see how she handled the topic in secret before looking back. Elann was looking forward to tea.

"I saw the city from the passageway. It was very nice. Very large. I look forward to exploring it soon."
While it could seem that Elann was happy to talk to Ryon, it was because she was happy to get along with another of Noah's siblings.

"Sounds delicious. And I enjoy cinnamon in my dishes as well. I've brought my spices along too if you want to use them and don't have some," she said mainly to Isabella. She had seen the vast array of spices that Elann used and knew whatever she felt like using, she would have it.

With Isabella speaking mainly to Noah, she moved to the warmest part of the dining/kitchen rooms so as to soak up the heat therein and to feel comfortable, though she would stay away from nosing about the kitchen.

"It was nice, I liked his room. It felt comfortable."
Elann nodded to his assessment and considered what would have looked nice on her and assumed he meant the gold and not all the other things she mentioned. He misread her coming near to the door as a sign she was ready to go, but she had no particular plans or desires to leave.

As he began packing up though, she could see he intended to go, and so taking one final stroll around the room, a sit on the bed, and a ruffle of the open curtains, she then lingered by the door while he closed everything up.

With him blowing out the candelabra, it was the final sign that he was leaving and so she lingered out in the stair's landing for him to close the door. He would be descending the stairs first, and she would follow at her own pace down to the floor. What Ryon could hear perhaps if he was listening over the cooking sounds in the kitchen, was the unorganized manner of her steppings down the stairs and how unconfident she was.

As they rounded the bend to come into the sight of the kitchen a bright smile was on her face, particularly for the kind wave of Ryon. He looked like he was in tatters compared to the freshly shaped, brushed, and beautifully arranged Benshira with her dangly golden earrings, but that was perfectly fine to her.

"Hi. Cooking I see."

Elann looked to identify the spice with her keen eyes of observation. While she may not have been as skilled at seeing great detail as Noah, she knew spices, and all it would have to be was a flicker of a color, matched to a smell, and she would know what they were cooking with and what it may taste like.

"How long have you all been cooking up supper?"

She didn't know if they had started before they came or if they started exactly when they arrived.
There was a pause in between his question and her answer. She had to think why not, and while she knew it, she didn't want to offend him. She decided against telling him what really was on her mind and just told him mostly what was the reason.

"I was in a foreign land, no real help from family in case there was an emergency, so I had to make sure I saved what I made. Also, people don't really seem to wear as much gold here as among my people. I don't think they see it as important. The people I met were more interested in their hairstyles, their clothing, and makeup than jewelry, but I do enjoy wearing it."

She set the ring back down and moved to kiss his temple as he cutely tried everything on. She left him then and didn't linger at the jewelry box with him. Instead, she moved over to the doorway to smell the food.

"Mmm, smells delicious."

Her hands coursed over her tummy and rest there as she seemed like she wanted to eat soon. She after all hadn't eaten anything but small snacks to tide her over in case there was some sort of feast that night.
Noah moved past her and to his dresser. She occupied the window at that time, looking down and out into the city before looking back at what he was busy doing. Coming to the desk, she came up behind him and looked over his shoulder at the interesting case. Inside was the light of gold and silvers in the candelabra's illumination.

His hand moved in to splay them out before her, revealing the necklaces and rings, earrings and charms.

"Of course, I love them. They are not only pretty, but special to me."

The rings that wouldn't likely fit his fingers, likely would fit hers, and if he let her, she would see how well they would fit. Elann had tiny fingers, and some of the larger pieces wouldn't even likely fit her thumb, but perhaps there was something there from a young age of his that could fit her hand. If so, she would see the design of it if there was any and if it was worth wearing. In her culture, a woman's gold worn was a symbol of how wealthy she was, and being the daughter of a chief, she had a vast wealth of gold; however that was all left behind when she was sent away in haste.

"I used to have a lot of jewelry."

She didn't tell him she had a necklace meant for her wedding that was literally half her weight in gold, gems, and silver. It would make him feel bad when really she loved the mangalasutra he gave her. It was beautiful and simple in her eyes and what one would wear every day, thought she did think back to the gold she used to have in that instance. It didn't matter now. Even with their fighting, she was more happy than she had ever been in her life.
Warmth filled their bond at the thought of Isabella being their teacher as well as his sisters. That must have been fun, she thought. He paused, calling to attention her schooling. A wince and a shake of the head showed he was off on his guess.

"No, my father. No school. We were taught to read Shiber and common. We didn't have a wealth of things to study so I'm a bit uneducated when it comes to things like geography and cultures outside of my own, but I am an expert at math."

She didn't look it, but Elann was so skilled at math that her own father was confused sometimes by what she knew. Being a daughter of a merchant, she was raised in learning numbers and algebra. While she may not be able to understand such things as advanced trigonometry, she was very skilled at what she did know and like Noah, it would be easy to pick up on even more advanced math.

"I think you learn so well because you are a very detail-oriented person."

That was all she said. Elann could have gone on listing the things that he was good at and detailed in his work such as his paintings, but once again, his words to her in the past stifled the openness of her character and kept her silent in speaking more on the subject.
Elann set down the instrument back where it was once Noah opened the window. She could see his organization of his desk, the order of his bed. Wondering, she figured he was a very orderly person, though often didn't have enough things occupying his space for Elann to really know.

Cool winds rushed in from the ocean and Elann hugged about herself, welcoming them openly, but protecting herself from their cold bite. By the time he was pulling closed the window, Elann was behind him so that when he was done and turned to face her, she was close by.

"Yeah, I like it. It's small, but I don't think too small. I love your view. It's so pretty, and you get a nice breeze from the ocean."

If Elann's hair wasn't newly brushed, she would have laid on his bed and gotten comfortable, but as it was, she kept to herself and just reached out to brush at Noah's cheeks.

"Did your mother teach you schooling at all, or did you go to a school?"

Her eyes danced to the desk, as the thought of him studying like Morian there seemed to dance through her head and made her wonder about his education. She knew he could read at the very least.
Their last fight had erupted because of Noah's decision to play the injured when she had stated something he didn't enjoy hearing in misunderstanding. Her request of him after apologizing was to think better of her and to ask clarification. His confusion lingered but no question came. Elann wasn't particularly interested in having a discussion about it anyways. While he had apologized for his words, they still stung, and it reminded her that if it was a subject he didn't understand, he didn't want to speak with her about it. She had finished pressuring him into being something he wasn't, so she had just let it drop and was going to enjoy the viewing of the room with him in delight, and if he wanted clarification on her emotions at any moment, he could always ask she figured.

As it was, in the home of the Amuel family, Elann had no idea how nice it was compared to others. She was enjoying it thus far and despite her cool feet, she was fairly warm. Her hand ran across the wall softly as she felt out its material and as he offered her a hand, she dusted it off and gave it to him to take. She appreciated the gesture, and with love, she climbed the stairs slowly with him. As he left her in the stairwell, she looked around her and tried to reach for the ceiling, but couldn't quite make it. She almost lost her balance then but caught herself; not before a bit of fright came through their bond though.

Elann settled her nerves from the fall and just awaited him to come back up. It was cold up in the top of the house, colder than Donovan's room, and she held her arms about herself. When his feet and the light came up to greet her, she could see better where she was and followed him closely as he moved into the room.

"Oooo" she sounded in an interesting hum. The light had filled his room now that the candelabra had been ignited and she spun about, her dress flaring a little as she took it all in in a hasty glance about. She then moved over to his little bed and smiled, watching as he opened the window. She already knew that he had spent hours looking out that window.

Her eyes then went to the roof, which was much lower and she reached up to touch it, succeeding in the new instance before she headed over to his dresser. He busied himself with the desk while she perused his things. Bits and bobs were here and there, and lightly she touched them, though didn't open anything to invade into his privacy. When she was satisfied there, she moved over to his desk and did the same to his drawings, slowly looking at each one to appreciate its partial beauty, and ultimately seemed almost to dance over to the lute, picked it up and began lightly plucking at the strings. So light were her pickings, only Aimee would be able to hear them in the room. Elann knew nothing about musical instruments like the lute and yet she saw it as a beautiful thing; even if it was huge in her hands.
Invited to his room made Elann shifted to the side at his neck and away from his nudging. He perhaps would have felt disappointment, though it was not for his invitation, but for his delay, his lack of seduction, and lack of understanding of her emotions. In her, that brief feeling would dissipate quickly however due to her anticipation to see it. She perked up and slid up off of him in answer. Humorously, her hand shot out to offer him a hand up, though she knew she didn't likely have the strength to lift him.

"Come on, let's see it."

Before heading out, she would head to the mirror to make sure she looked presentable and then would flash him a smile and would head to follow him to where the second stair was. While she wanted to see it, she didn't hold out much hope for it being large. She was small enough that she could probably find comfort in it still, but he was growing ever stronger and larger, and at a fast rate too with him being Kelvic.
Elann nodded in his assurances. It was kind of him not to bluntly shrug her concerns away like he had done in the past and in return she loved him more in that moment for it, though didn't voice as much.

"Alright," she answered with a smile as she brought her hands up to course through his hair.

Her simple question of whether he liked her as being small brought interesting looks of anticipation from her as she waited for his answers. They were long, well thought out, and very precise. It was almost painfully awkward as he revealed what he thought about her. His gentle touches weren't amiss, and though they were simple and innocent, it didn't mean it did nothing to her. He would feel the more he touched of not only her skin, but the bunching up of her dress, the more intense desire for him there was.

Not particularly wanting to have sex in his brother's bed, let alone in a house where each of your scent's could be discerned, she didn't exactly desire to have sex with her husband at that moment, but it didn't mean she didn't have the feelings and urges within her. It had been a long journey, and he had been injured a long time. It felt like ages since they were together and on speaking terms well enough to have relations, and so thus she was a little craving of it even though she didn't express it to him.

He finished with stating that he thought she was cute in her smallness and Elann grinned, planting a simple kiss on him before falling into his neck for some nudging kisses and to lay there happily.

"Okay," she finally voiced in common. "I was just wondering."

If he was someone charming, saying cute could have been backed by his wants or desires for something, but she knew he was just evaluating her and measuring her in his mind, taking in what he thought of her and expressing it as law. There was no charm in it, no seduction, and if he ever bothered to try, she would probably miss it since she had given up on him doing so on his own accord. There were times where they had gotten together mutually and fell into a paired seduction, but never could she recall him going out of his way to tempt her like she had asked of him once.
