You wake up in on a dirt path in the middle of foggy woods. It is day time but everything is silent and the fog is so thick you can barley see into the woods or down the road ahead.

Dante's Inferno rp

The story shall be based off the poem. There will be a few battle encounters to keep things interesting but for the most part demons and spirits will either be extremely strong (like Shadow Of The Colossus) or untouchable. The point is to try and get through hell and avoid the dangers that are in the depths. You will begin with no weapons but later on you will find a weapon to keep you safe from demons. I will be your guide Virgil. Characters will not have supernatural powers. All characters are Human.

Virgil

Appearance:

Bio: Virgil was once a masterful Roman poet living under the rule of Caeser Augustus, living before the birth of Christ and becoming well-known by many along with other poets like Homer. Virgil is the author of the Aeneid, his magnum opus.Virgil died shortly before the birth of Christ, and thus was never baptized. Because he lead a good life on earth, Virgil was given a place amongst the virtuous pagans in the Hall of Kings, within the circle of Limbo. Virgil found himself being called by a beautiful woman, asking him to help a friend she feared had gone astray.

Aleksander Vitonoz

Bio: Life threw Devon a gigantic middle finger, even at birth. The child was seemingly abandoned on the darkened urban streets of New York, when the criminal underbelly squandered the streets, and where the scum of the earth festered in their own crap. He was lying there, in an alley, for a whole day...right behind that familiar old trashcan that stunk of rotten fish and molded bread. His health was deteriorating from the brisk coldness, and any hobo who found the baby did nothing but laugh psychotically at it with a pointed finger. The baby's emotions were haywire; it was hungry, cold, tired. Whilst laying in the gutters, the 2-day old baby was sobbing it's little heart out. There was absolutely no hope for it to survive. That is, until something happened. A hobo actually examined the noise, and to his drunken surprise, it was a hairless little snot! Wrapped in an extremely fluffy, and only slightly dirty quilt that would do a heavenly job of keeping the coldness away.

He was found, not too long after, by the master of the criminal underbelly; ex-Spetznaz, and now full-time Russian mafia leader Vincent Vitonoz. No one knows why the powerful man, both physically, mentally, and politically, decided to adopt the child. It may be because the shred of humanity that he still had pulsed, or it may be because he was sterile, and couldn't bear a worthwhile heir. Regardless, the man took Devon into his mansion, naming the boy Aleksander, or Aleks for short, and teaching him the ways of a criminal; how to handle a knife, pistol, and garrote. The boy blossomed under the man's tutelage; both physically and mentally becoming the serrated steel blade that later on became his trademark. Years of infamy and murder came back to bite the twenty-one year old in the ass, however, when he was finally assassinated after being drugged and paralyzed...

Casey Reed

Bio: Casey was originally a computer geek working in a shitty hardware store making minimum wage most of his life. He was never particularly religious but he was definitely law-abiding. The honest man that he was, he had never cheated anyone or stolen from them. He had certainly never killed anyone. He had a few women but never settled down with one in particular. In 2029, Casey was drafted for the war effort in the middle east. Casey was shot and killed after he had killed three other soldiers on the battlefield

Mike

Has a tattoo on his back that looks like this.

Ironic given his current situation.

Bio: Mike grew up a relatively poor, and by relatively I mean there was dirt worth more than him. School was never a big thing for Mike, he knew there wasn't any way to pay for college even if he was the best damn sportsman on the planet. So he drifted, taking odd jobs and wasting his money on booze and whores. His outlook on it was it was his life and there wasn't a big window for him anyway, why not enjoy it while he could? That's not to say he did anything bad, he just never did much good either. Neutral if you must.

Eventually Mike got a job working for a lumber company and became a lumberjack. It was a nice job, lots of money, got more respect then just manual laborer, and he actually made some life long friends. However something wasn't right with his picture, something was nagging at him and he couldn't figure out what it was. He found himself thinking on it more and more until one day, while pondering what it was it bothered him, he didn't notice his chainsaw getting stuck in the tree he was working on until the chain broke. The chain basically shattered, most of it going in his arms but an exceptionally large length went across his throat. He never had a chance.

Andrea Summers

Age: 26
Appearance:
Bio: Andrea grew up in a small town to a relatively normal family. Overall, she was considered a "good girl" in the small community and, when it was time to attend higher education, she moved away from her small town to start fresh. In college, she tried to keep her grades higher than a B- and was active in both sports and musical activities. Life seemed pretty good for her until after she graduated and found herself in a great amount of debt. Before she knew what she was really doing, Andrea began stealing money from her job in order to cover her expenses. She was eventually forced to stop when a co-worker found her with her hand in the metaphorical cookie jar and she was subsequently fired.

That didn't stop her from stealing altogether, though. Andrea would pocket anything she carry could in a store or even someone's bag on the sidewalk when they weren't looking. It had become an addiction that only stopped when a careless driver ran her over and snapped her spine in half.

Curro Espinosa

Age: 32

Appearance:
Bio: A greedy coward. A greedy coward who's death was caused by his own greediness and cowardice. Although most of his life is a blur now, those last moments still shine stabbingly on Curro's mind. His allies never recieved the signal, as he never gave it. His enemies ignored the deal. The mace bashed his head. The sword opened his throat. They say it isn't good to dwell in the past, but now Curro's can't think about anything else. Now all that Curro does is ask himself whether the pay was worth it.
