Heros and Mutant Academy

Brian walked quietly to the next class. He noticed the others mingling but he was still to home sick to make it a point to talk to anyone. walked through the halls like a ghost thinking about how he had gotten here and if he deserved to be here. He didn't harm anyone like some of the others. He wanted to be back home in his room with his books. How he missed his Shakespeare and Stephen King books, but most of he missed his David Wong books. He knew later he could go to the library and that might make him feel better, but all he wanted to do now was vent his aggression for the world. He didn't want to train to protect those that thought he was a monster. At a time he thought that he could be a super hero and save others, now he didn't know if they deserved to be saved. He looked down and sighed as the others passed him as he was deep in thought.

"The place I was brought was dark and cold. The floor felt like a puddle but it was solid. I could hear Pain talking but I couldn't see him. I guess it was because he was fixing my body. Pain told me that Pain and Promiscuity were lovers and that they use to destroy cities together. It was strange having my demon open up to me. Usually he laughs at me or enjoys my pain. This time he showed me compassion. Weird." Dante said staring off. "Delilah I am sure you can control yourself. I think we all need to take sometime getting a hold of our powers and getting to know each other. I think that would make this situation much easier." He said now looking around the table at everyone.

Dante wondered if Everyone goes to the darkroom he did when injured but he didn't want to ask because if he didn't want to freak them out, but then again it helps to be prepared. "I injured myself earlier and when I did I felt compelled to rest and when I did my Demon kind of put me in time out inside my head while he repaired my body. I was told a little bit of the demon's Pain and Promiscuity's past. It was very odd and I was wondering if you guys ever experienced that?" Dante said then finished his fruit salad as he waited for any responses.

"That is awesome. You are so gifted. All the instruments why know are so classy too." Michael said laughing.

"Well we do have an eternity to figure this out." Dante said smiling at Katherin. Her eyes had him in a trance. He couldn't look away and suddenly he had tunnel vision and only saw her. He found himself wanting to be closer to her. He snapped out of it when he heard pain laughing at him. "Has anyone else ever been badly injured after getting the demon?" Dante asked trying to push his thoughts of Katherin away.

Michael laughed. "I didn't get interested in playing an instrument until I was about 13. My uncle gave me his electric guitar and tried to teach me to play. I didn't start really getting into it until like 3 years ago." Michael said smiling.

"What if one of us do? What if one of us had something secrets didn't know. Or a soul to offer. You could also threaten secrets. There are plenty of things. It wasn't painless for me. I am still recovering from the deal I made and my encounter with Promiscuity." Dante said trying to encourage Katherin. "You don't have to change your terms. We could figure out a way to help talk on the terms that you have agreed on too. I just think it would be easier for you to hide if you could talk." Dante said looking at Katherin with concerned eyes.
