Lyke stood there for a good 20 minutes, standing near the man. During that time he began to wonder.
He had a whole ship of vacationers headed to an island. Some rich, some winners, and even celebrities. He wouldn't be called to take this ship out for another few days. He had all that time to spend on the island relaxing getting to know furries... And Nai. He seemed so nice, but just a bit young for him. Of course that never separated him from a good time. "Captain, sir."
Lyke stopped thinking of such things, reality popped a his day-dream bubble. He turned his head to the voice, which belonged to the man with the clipboard.
"Yes? Something get screwed up?" Lyke responded.
"Essentially, I did." He flipped between papers as if to confirm something. "Yeah, shoot. Turns out, all the friend are here already! I should've noticed it, but their names had been repeated twice on the list, just that their first and last names were flipped..."[/b] He scratched the back of his head nervously, and shrugged, "I am so very sorry that I wasted your time, I guess we can depart now."
"Then we're off!"
The man previously with the clipboard began to close up the entrance, and clean up, while Lyke hurried to the control room, so that they could start the boat.
Lyke opened the door to the control room, and shouted to the crew mates, "Alright, were ready to get this baby goin'!" All the members hurried around to start the boat, as Lyke told the co-captain, "You think you can sail this solo?" The co-captain, nervous, but assured, replied, "Of c-course! ... Sir! Definitely, sir!"
"Alright, if you've got any problems, just radio me." He finished with a wink, and headed off to the bar. He made the mistake of not distinguishing AM or PM on the note, so the time for the bar would soon come up, and he didn't want Nai to think he couldn't keep his schedule straight for him. Before, though, he went to his room and quickly changed for a somewhat more casual look, them, locked up and headed in the direction of the bar.
