The Gamers (A Videogame Themed RP)

I feel like it would begin, when we all sign up for this great new MMO, that's supposed to be really life-like, and, being regular users, we don't really read the Terms of Service and all, and it turns out we have the game downloaded into our life. And because it's so underground, we're the only ones who download it before the govt. shuts it down.
So, it could be all like:
Tuesday evening:
Timothy, signs up and begins download for a brand new MMORPG, that's supposed to be very true to life, before anyone else (what did you expect, he's gotta keep up on all his MMORPGs). He begins to fantasize about how cool it is, and he begins making up a world about the RPG. Sometime in his fantasy, it finishes, so he begins installation. All the daydreaming (somehow) got him tired, but he's still hyped. Right before bed, though, he gets a call (it finished installing by then, so it begins) and it's his boss calling him, that he has to come to a new location in some other city to setup all the computers while they hire another IT guy. He gets the thing in quest notifications, and thinks he's getting delirious, and goes to bed. Long story short, leaves Wednesday morning he leaves, comes back Friday noon w/ however many XP earned and by then everyone has it (but not necessarily learned their in the game).

We don't necessarily have to realize that it came from there, because it got "deleted" from our computers.

Name: Timothy Epnet

Age: 19

Gender: Male

Appearance: Timothy is about average height (around 5' 11") but incredibly skinny apart from the few muscles he's earned in the seldom trips at the gym (or his first job as a mechanic, which he was not very good at so he quit). He wears glasses that are pretty new and surround his green eyes, and has short blonde hair that is always ruffled from sleeping. He wears cargo pants which he never changes because all the pockets carry something that he thinks could be of use to him. He changes his shirt from time to time, but you barely see that under his sometimes changing hoodie. His sneakers never change but the cargo pants cover them most of the time.

Personality: Timothy is nerdy, but is much more know to be geeky. He spends some days observing the world, or imagining his own. He is split between independent and social. He likes to spend a little time alone, but prefers the company of a small group of others more of the time, only if he knows them well. Timothy really likes machines, and can busy himself with inventions, and is quite creative, but prefers to work physically with machines.

History: Timothy was a very successful student, and was able to get enough college credit (in high school from advanced classes) to convince his parents he can choose whether to go to an actual college, but he stayed because needed more money for better colleges. He hopped a few jobs until he took what he was really into, computers. He almost landed a job as an engineer but he really wanted to be hands on machinery, not just planning them out. As he moved into a decent apartment, he started to get into his own way of life, making new friends, and started a new life of his own. After a making friends, they all decided to start playing Dungeons and Dragons weekly, and it soon became their ritual. Apart from that he spent most of his time, up to this point, reading any kind of book, and is quite well-read, so knows a thing or two about every subject.

Personality: He's that kid you see in the grocery store that you expect to play Dungeons and Dragons. Because he does. Once a week with a couple of friends. The've gotten really into it, and it's practically ritual now. The rest of the time spent is either working at home for a small business (he's webmaster and IT Specialist, but no one asks him for tech help) and the occasional on-site work, or he just sits around playing MMORPGs, reading books, and... cooking. He's really proficient in reading and picked up quite a few skills.
