I was going to propose that I only went to college for 2 yrs. and becaus I was so smart, I either dropped out, or (somehow) finished early. Otherwise, I'd have a lot saved up (minus games).

Remember, this dude's a genius. The only reason he didn't finish school early was because he chose to do COMP-SCI electives. And, in all respects, if you were to truly use your time perfectly, it sounds sort of plausible to land a similar job.
