Sorry to say, Bavaria isn't long for this world.

Persia is a solid choice though. If you are willing to be European, go Portugal.

I know it says you're not recruiting, but I heard talk of needing an African or Middle Eastern nation. I've been keeping up with this RP, and it'd be cool to get in on.

I recommend

1. Oranje or Transvaal (in modern South Africa). The Hannah Montana of WiR. Gets the best of both worlds with European tech (army level, literacy) and African resources.
2. Nejd,for T.E Lawrence potential.
3. Egypt is probs the strongest African state.

Made a decison - naval purchases are now based on industry level. Kho's purchase has been cut back (sorry Kho). Went over income stats and couldn't find any errors. Belgiums income has not been added to the Netherlands because that takes two updates - and before you get angry and say I should have said that, most parts of the stats are kept secret, and it was the same for all nations; Prussia, Sweden, Siam, all of them. Now will you all stop whinging?

Thank you. I am sorry for snapping at you, it has been a long, hot day in my neck of NY.

What are you on about? It is a fact of history that the Ottoman Empire fell into debt in this period due to increased naval expenditure. Shouldn't be feeling the effects until 1876, and since I'm already a democracy...the consequences have been neutralised. That's the last am saying on the matter.

And IRL, there was interest.

What's the matter guys? They're just a bunch of paper ships and club-weilding cavemen. No need to shit yourselves.Just keep teasing me, it inspires me to greater and greater levels of cold-blooded murderous intent ;)And just to put it out there, Outcast is doing a brilliant job, though I don't understand how such a puny nation like the Netherlands could raise such a force, even if they paid double. Just one of the countless mysteries of the world...

Whatever, Kho, keep playing to win by manipulating every nuance of the rules. If debt had interest you'd fall apart tomorrow. Good for you, you found an exploit, and broke R3 realism in so doing.

In which case either those were the 15,000 finest, most-experienced, most expensive regulars ever hired, or Outcast forgot to shift Belgium's income my way. If the case was that it was all simply an error, my only issue with the update would be the lack of consequences for the Ottoman debt. If their income stayed where it is, it would take them until 1954 to pay it off, assuming they never spend another dollar or anything else for those 91 years.Their debt is literally over 9,000% of their income.

Nice creditors that don't charge interest.
Belgium income was 612, actually.
Please tell me you're trolling

Absolutely I am not. An argument requires two contending view points aimed at convincing the other. A discussion is a cooperative effort.
More to the point Outcast, I believe you forgot one of my orders. About the breachloading cannon?

You know, Nex, Boerd, I think the appropriate response to something like this is "Thank you for all the hard work you're putting into this. I don't understand the changes you made to the system, however. Can you please explain them to me?"

Our reaction has indeed been a bit vociferous, and so I will tone it down, but I like to think of my efforts as generating dialogue as a lively discussion.
