I know this is an old saw. but the British people should really demand an end to this war. Since Prussia lags far behind navally, a Unified Germany is not their concern. There is no faction in the British government that has a rational reason to continue the war. Not commercial interests, not hawks nor doves, not the very strong pro-German faction. The Royal Navy is leaving its lucrative Asian trade completely open to piracy and for what?
