Legatus Name: Marcus Cornelius Cossus Argentus

Legatus Age: 40

Legatus Origins: Born into the ancient Cossus branch of the Patrician gens Cornelia, Marcus' life was one of few extrinsic barriers. Far from rest on familial laurels, he acquitted himself valiantly during his military service and his time as a legal advocate. Marcus' inherited wealth he invested heavily into silver mines in the newly conquered island of Sardinia. This gamble paid enormous dividends, earning him the cognomen "Argentus", for which the town of Argentiera was named, and allowing him to purchase enormous tracts of land in Magna Graecia to cement his position as one of the richest men in Rome. He attained every office in the Cursus Honorum suo anno and was appointed to the prestigious post of Praetor Urbanus at 39. Ab, thoughts on British education?
Presumably.
All that's really needed is for Wilhelm to have a bit of humility. Bismarck had already proven himself a genius by this point.

We are currently in the year 1861, game-time. Bismarck did not become Prussian foreign minister until November of 1862. Unless I missed his inauguration as foreign minister.Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_foreign_ministers_of_Prussia

Wasn't worth a post to put him in early, which I did.

"As we outright stated in our ultimatum, negotiations are exactly what we wanted and we will go wherever and whenever we need to so that may happen. It was the King of Denmark who stated, and here I quote, "The Kingdom of Denmark...rejects any further call for negotiations concerning this issue." The King of Denmark forced our hand. However, we reject the libelous assertions of the United Kingdom that the Kingdom of Prussia seeks to annex the territory. If that were so, why would the Austrian Empire come to our aid?"

The update may or may not be up tomorrow. There's been a death in the family. Please continue to IC, the update will hopefully be up on Monday at the latest. The Northern European War will be incorporated into the main update. Rare is Portugal, don't fuck it up.

Take all the time you need. My condolences as well.
If Solterra or his supposed allies could GET to Jorvik. Blue-water navy and all.

Artillery can reach artillery, and Solterra had the right kind to demolish said navy if they attacked Olga. Not much a pile of floating debris can do. While you had the best navy, can't do much to an army of ballista. They can use castles as cover and rain fire into ships, so if the holes don't sink them, the fire will. Perks of knowing better.

Fortunately, I have an army equal or better to Sadko's that can appear and disappear in a few hour's notice and can't be caught by either of your armies before I torch a manor, take the food, and be on my merry way.
When did you invade vietnam?

Edit: NVM, before le RP start.
