Due credit to Dutchbag for map and basic idea

Simply search any country; chances are, its history since the Weltkrieg is there.

Nation Name:

If Location is not obvious from name (I.E Norway or Russia), describe location:

Leader name:

Population:

Population reaching military age annually (optional but helpful):

Current military size: Again, just be reasonable

Wartime military size (full mobilization): ^

Navy size (if applicable): Number of ships will suffice.

Respectable air force: A simple yes or no will suffice here. Information is difficult to find on the other countries I tried to search (Sweden's is strangely easy), so just give a yes or a no. As a good rule of thumb, if you're not in Europe or North America, the answer is "no"

Military capabilities: I'm taking a new turn on this one. People either list units or just numbers. Neither of those are particularly helpful. I want analysis See my below nation example for an example. Feel free to speculate about neighboring countries; if there is a discrepancy between your image of your nation and your neighbor's image, I'd rather work it out OOC than IC. Also, numbers still help.

History: Use good judgement as to length. As a general rule, things that happened in WW1 happened here except where their plausibility is made nil by our changes in event, but feel free to create events/interactions. If another player occupies the nation you're writing about (I'm writing about Denmark in my Sweden history, so naturally if a player takes Denmark I'll work with them), try to work out a mutually agreeable history. Also, pre-ww1 history is available on Wikipedia, but if you want to include it, by all means do.

Example

Rules:
-Chances are, if you're still reading after my atrocious OP, you're so hardcore into NRP that you don't need me to explain the rules. But just to be clear,
-No Godmodding
-PLEASE disagree with me. I'm not perfect. I'm a new guy at GMing. Argue with me. I like being challenged; I don't know everything and if you feel I'm missing something, shoot me a PM. Keep it out of the OOC however, if it only applies to you.
-And above all, be reasonable. That's the one thing to take out of this. As a matter of fact, write "reasonable" somewhere in your history so I know you get this most salient point.
Also, looks like everyone gets their first choice.
Alright. I will run it as written. What do you mean by stats?
Suehania

The odds of a raid could not be any higher; every Suehan worth his salt knew that. The combination of extant factors, such as strict arms control, complacency in the Crayven Core lands, the glacial pace of Crayven adaptation to Suehan tactics, Suehan cavalry superiority and two new factors, namely unprecedented internal stability, raid profitability, and a very cold Autumn (hinting at an even colder Winter) to prevent any sort of retaliation till Spring or later meant that this was the best chance Kunungr Arminahz was ever going to get to permanently leave his mark on history and propel his ferocious confederation from a backwater northern collection of tribes to the station it deserved, a place among all the great nations of the world, and to assume their stature. If he was ever to lay a weight to break this camel’s back, it was now.

The Kunungr had been preparing for this moment his whole reign. Every year about this time he would call for a mass mobilization of the horsemen, sometimes followed with minor action, sometimes none at all. The Gothis complained then, but all saw the purpose now. Assembled around his humble city, an equal number to its population of trained horsemen. 9,000 Ridonjar, 1,000 Valkyrja, and not the least, all 2,000 of the Marahuskarlar, among them his two sons Thiudareiks and Audawakrs, in glittering mail and scail.
The enormous giant of a man, even for a Suehan, stood at 7’2”, and through this physical presence and his inherent authority, had turned the raving bands into a disciplined and well regulated force, at least by Suehan standards. No warrior would charge unless ordered by his superior, and him by his superior, and that was as good as any one man could hope to accomplish in a single lifetime.

At this point he issued down the chain of command the rules of engagement: “If a town surrenders, it is to be treated well. Only food enough for reasonable provision and valuables are to be taken. However, if it resists at all, food, human slaves, valuables are all fair game. For every one of us they kill, exact vengeance tenfold on the population. It is well within our interest to convince them that surrender is worth our time. Arrow resupply will be minimal at best, so the 90 each Ridonr leaves here with will have to suffice. No wasted shots, aim for the softer spots to preserve the arrowheads. ” He looked at his subordinates, and smiled “And ride faster than the northern wind. Hiyah!”

As he galloped off to lead the horde, his officers picked up a chant. “WES THU HAIL! WES THU HAIL! WES THU HAIL!” This passed down to the soldiers, and all 12,000 were chanting in one voice. “WES THU HAIL! WES THUS HAIL! WES THU HAAAAAAAAAAAIL FRAWJON!”
The plan the Kunungr had set it place called for looping around to the east; normal Suehan raids took the shortest path possible and so the people and the soldiers there had come to expect it. By looping east and coming back west, they would cut across virgin land, untouched by their hooves.

The icy wind of the gods was about to blow across Crayvenhart, bringing snow, ice, and arrows.
Suehan slaves probably have it best, it seems. Namely, they can be and often are manumitted.
It has been literally less than six hours.
I will run it again if Dutch thinks 10 is too low turnout
Alright. But by all means, put stuff in to counter me. Militaries don't develop in a vacuum.
Ok. I will start typing up the initial part of the raid

-Nerminus (Northern Province, Suehania Border, 27,000)-Suehania: Deny its existence as a nation, all territories mapped as part of the Crayven Realm, kill or enslave on sight.-Northern Provinces: The whole of Suehania is considered under Administrative control, officially, but in truth only a small part of it is occupied. There is one road going straight to Nerminus and most settlements are along or close to this road, some more brave Crayvens go deeper in land, but these settlements are rare. All settlements have at least a wooden wall and most of them a small castle on a hill to which the citizens can flee in case of a barbarian invasion.More to come. Expect people to have become 'Used to' raiding. On the other hand:-Core land: The core land are heavily urbanized or agriculturalized, forests have been cut down, swamps drained, lakes and rivers controlled by dams. The land is flat and free of predators, also reputed to be one of the safest place around the globe as you can walk for days without ever being robbed. There is generally a settlement or at least an inn at each 6h of walk. At every 8h of horse sprint, there is an outpost with fresh horses for the messenger network to quickly and efficiently deliver news and mail. Roads go straight to cities to form major crossroads and aqueducts bring fresh water to the cities from the mountains, going for miles and miles. That's probably your target... but doing damage there may stir up a hornet's nest.

I am thinking that most Suehan raids number about 50 to 400, with the occasional 1,000 to 1,500 Gothi raid. This raid, led by the Kunungr, is going to be 12,000, all mounted, and it will loop around to the east then into the flatlands you describe.
