Ikran is a region of the Universe connected by countless portals extending across thousands of inhabitable worlds. Most remained dormant since times immemorial but as Sentience developed and the knowledge of magic took root, the ability to open these ancient doorways to other worlds has begun to reconnect all of creation. At the center of this new age of expanding horizons sits the five great Portal Hubs, cities that host hundreds, potentially thousands of portals to allow them to become the center of trade, knowledge or conquest.
Ceciderunt Dea is a world connected to one such Portal Hub, the merchant city of Nexulai. Upon Ceciderunt an long standing era of fragile peace exists between the race of Angels and Demons that inhabits this world. The First Chapter of the Ikran Story takes place here, following the quest of a Caelestine name Seraphina Lunasdiei to reach the Featherkeeper to receive her wings and join the ranks of the angels of her people.
