Laura was flung forwards, bracing with one arm against the ground before pushing off with the inertia and twisting around. She backed up a couple steps, but stood up straight and retracted her claws when she noticed the professor. She almost snarled, upon learning that Xavier and the boy were somehow connected - there wasn't time enough in the day to deal with that sort of thing. Her thoughts reflected her agitation, but her demeanor remained placid. With the subtlest of eye-rolling she turned down the hallway and simply walked off - hands back in her pockets.

There wasn't a reason for her to be there, the mansion was obviously secure enough for the Prof to simply let random new students float in of their own free will. Potentially endangering other students and staff with their antics. She knew what she smelled, the boy was going to attack. What if it hadn't been her? He was strong, he could've seriously hurt some of the other students. With a pause in the hallway, she bent her head and pinched the bridge of her nose, before brushing her palm across her face and brushing her hair back in one trudging motion.
I think Xavier knowing Jax is something you should have discussed with MC, and/or let her respond to as Xavier. I'll post soon.
Sure you can. Just break their ankles like in Misery.
Aaah, okay. I think we should just stick with this one for the moment anyway. As far as Ebb goes, I made her for that one RP and got to play her just that time. I really liked her and would have liked to use her more, but eh. I've had a couple of teleporters I liked quite a bit. I don't really RP Marvel outside of this little group anymore and most of my old characters are either dead or just kind of forgotten with the time.

Yes, Vivi. She brings me much demon-murdering joy.

Also, great post KH.
I think that was my villain. I'm not actually sure what thread I made him for, but his CS is unique to one RP. It was maybe one I never posted, though. Did you make the one where the characters had two parents and were really powerful/older? I do love Ebb. And Andraste for that matter. I'd have to do an overhaul on him for the RP or just be like "Oh yeah, time rift."

I mean, if anyone else wants to do it, feel free to speak up. We kinda need one for balance, though. With the amount of people we have, we could almost do two groups with two leaders for a more strategic set of plans while doing missions.
I have a ridiculous telekinetic/telepathic character I could use, if it comes down to it. I think I actually made him for another one of your RPs, but I don't remember.
It really allows you to take on a completely different way of writing a character, I like that a lot. I feel kind of repetitive doing the third-person omniscient perspective sometimes, that adds a lot more creative license. Not quite comfortable with doing it from the perspective of someone else's character, but I do like the inanimate object sort of view. For whatever reason I...I pictured a rock just sitting on the counter for no particular reason, observing everyone else...I suppose, in trying to explain it through a rock's completely neutral perspective that's not too bad of a way to channel that view. Haha. I will definitely be toying with that perspective in the future.

For what it's worth, if you feel like moving things along or have a certain idea of how you'd like something to go you can most certainly feel free to use Bloom however you please.
I'm giving it a try with Bloom, but it is a rather new concept for me. In this setting anyway.

The mentality of trying to just invent rather than just admitting you've no idea is a pretty dangerous one. That's probably why I just stay quiet and listen most of the time.
Every time you post, Assallya, I imagine you dropping a mic and walking away.
X felt some of the shock go through her system as her grabbed her ankle. She fell with him, bringing her combat boot down right over where his solar plexus should be, in an attempt to wind him. There was no real way to know what sort of effect this would have, his anatomy (and identity for that matter) were a complete mystery. For all she knew it might be akin to stomping on the sidewalk. If that was the case, she was in a particularly tough position, considering this mutant of considerable strength had his grip on her.

It was something of a rush to fight an opponent one had no data on. The rush was someone mitigated by the fact that she had one, no...two allies. Bamf had appeared, it was only a matter of time before more showed up. She wondered to herself why the defenses hadn't picked him up. Perhaps it was an inside job? The speculating could wait. She wondered for a moment if she was going to have to re-attach her leg if this interloper should decide to tear it from the socket.

"YIELD!" She barked with anger-fed gravitas almost directly at his face. The three of them would have no problem taking him down, but she had no real desire to injure the rogue.
Bloom watched the big man enter and leave, a bright smile spread across her lips for no discernable reason. Her head moved from him to Sarah as they spoke, she giggled lightly and set the kettle on the table. She moved back around to the counter, standing between the cat and the sushi.

Apple's tattooed hand gave the quiet, covered up one a soft wave for a greeting, before turning back to Sarah as the big auburn-headed boy left. "You're gonna' give that boy heart problems like that," she said with an amused mien.
