Look over my post on the last page. I talked about your character. Since I don't really know anything about the series I'll need to trust you. 1) So they're kind of just people with inhuman blood? That's fine... but if their job is like to hunt demons and stuff... And Yokai are generally demons of some sort... Isn't it like against their whole being to attend a school for demons, monsters, etc.?2) I'll allow it. But give a little more detail if there are any powers the blade possesses and how you plan to tone them down.3) I meant i'm fine with the runes being used to amplify his physical abilities. However, if he can apply more runes that will give him extra supernatural powers I'd like to know what other powers and how effective they'd be and how long they'd last. How long do runes last altogether? 4) I'm fine with the immunities because you said "most" which means he's not like completely impervious. And generally since we're in a school for monsters and the like we're more likely to come in contact with non-human diseases. 5) Isn't the sight kind of useless? I'm sure in the series you're using it's pretty awesome, but here it's just kind of... meh... Like even if you can see past disguises it won't mean much as there is such a thing as demons and the like who are good. You'd still need to find out whether the demon is good or bad before attacking it or something. Sorry if I seem like I'm being a jerk or overly critical or something TT__TTI just feel I should be to better understand the character and abilities and I tread more cautiously with series and things I know nothing about.
1. His history discusses that. He was sent to observe and he is not happy about it.
2. I'm mostly planning on removing the power effect that it has on mortals, removing its ability to set mortals on fire with one hit. Because that's insane. I think it will function more as a special sword that is used to kill demons and such, with the angelic fire included. Because, come on, that's awesome. An idea, if it becomes too much, is that the headmaster confiscated it from him, only returning it when it is needed for a specific class or just providing him with a sword of very similar aspect just not all angel like. That way, if he gets mad at some demon he won't just try to kill him with it.
3. Really, the most I've found have been healing, sight, one "invisibility" but it really doesn't do too much. Here is the full list of them, but I definitely won't be using them all. Just not gonna happen, there are too many, and like I've mentioned, he doesn't know them all. So even then, the insanely powerful ones he might not know. There is no definite time that I've seen, and the strength of them depends on many things. There are very few( only one that he has) that lasts forever. Some, last for a few minutes. It depends how hard you"draw" the rune effects the time it lasts. For the strength of them, the closer to the heart the stronger. But if it effects like the arms or legs, then it would be placed more on them. Again, there are no stated strength, so you can only go off of what information is given.
4. In the series, the demons would try to disguise itself and make itself look like a normal human. In the series, the demons didn't look human. I guess that doesn't really effect this roleplay. I can remove it, just still keep the first mark you get( it provides the sight, and is the only permanent one he has). Doesn't help in the series all demons are considered bad, evil, and need to be destroyed. He has the same point of view for the most part.
Don't be sorry, this is your rp, and if someone popped in with something with all these different stuff, I would be feeling the same way. I actually like it, it's allowing me to work out the things I want different compared to the actual series.
His body is covered in runes that look like black tattoos. He has several runes covering his body, such as agility, strength, equilibrium, heightened speed, soundless, his voyance rune. He has several dormant runes, which appear as a faint silver scar that can be retraced. He prefers to wear black clothes with casual wear, but when fighting he also wears black, but instead it is refined leather armor, with comfortable pants and sturdy boots.
