Austin bit his cheek slightly then nodded. "Yeah, I can do that." He extended his claws out slightly, enough to cause small scratches but not much else. He then relaxed his hands and the claws retracted and then he went back to where it was. He needed to understand what the amount of pull was needed so he could go back to it. He said," ok, I believe that I am ready."

Erik flinched as the voice appeared, his hand twitching towards one of his knives. He turned to face spirit now, tilting his head slightly. At least he didn't have the knife pointed at him unlike with wind and the arrow. He listened closely to the words that Spirit said. He leaned back in the chair and said," I wouldn't say necessarily to beat him, while that would be fantastic to do so, it was more of a curiousity about it. So will is everything for magic, as well as knowledge but if we didn't need knowledge then we wouldn't be here. But that's off the point. The stronger your will, the stronger your use in magic will be. And the friendship, need and honor, just add to that will to make you desire to succeed more? Correct? I just came on another question before you appeared, and parhaps you could speed up that process for me, then I have another that is directed towards, I'm assuming, spirit magic. What are the various properties that you can change fire to? Fire said that there is nothing that is impossible if you believe in it other then raising the dead. But that can't possibly be right could it? I mean... There has to be more limits on what you could do for it. Like, I could believe that a ball of fire could turn a person into a... Dog, but that just isn't possible to happen..."

Austin nodded slightly and returned the gesture, a fist bump, or so he hoped at least. He then took a step back after the show of respect. He quickly remembered something and kicked off his shoes. It felt more natural bare footed. He said," I feel my attack style is going to include a lot of the use of my claws, and is there a way that I could prevent as much damage happening to you? I can't really just unsharpen my claws. Well I could, but then I would have to get them back to the normal level of sharpness." He shrugged slightly, frowning a little.

Erik stood and walked over to the desk and sat down. He knew if he stayed in the bed much longer he would fall asleep in it. He was thinking over one thing that fire said. Nothing is impossible if you believe it isn't. Or something like that. Was Fire's will just stronger then theirs in order to break though like it did. He grabbed the book for wind, flipping it open before getting another thought. Could the property's of fire change according to what you want? He snatched the fire book again, searching for the answer to his new question.

Austin nodded slightly," alright, and I could probably use that training." He glanced down at the May and walked onto it, bouncing on his heels and taking a deep breath. His mind was racing. How would he fight John? He couldn't simply claw him the whole time. He would get destroyed. He would have to turn Johns strength against him and rely more on his speed and agility then purely his strength. Right? That would work? Maybe?

Austin frowned slightly then shook his head a little," not really. I did some training back at home, but most of my training has come from this school. I've been taking captain American's hand to hand combat class. It's helpful but doesn't do quite what I would looking for. I would need my own fighting style but my dad didn't get much into the fighting side of things..." He shrugged slightly, looking at John now.

Austin shrugged the said," that's a good point about tiger being something a girl would call a guy. Maybe Tiger isn't the best superhero name for me. Would sound kinda weird. And I don't like to scary, it's just not in my personality. But bobcat... Don't think I can work with that one." He then nodded slightly," alright, gym works, though I doubt that you will get close to bashing my head in." He then frowned," then again, when I fought you... I was fighting through my anger rather then thinking, so who knows how this can go. I'm trying to find a balance between my instincts and rational thoughts." He shrugged slightly, shoving his hands into his pockets of his shorts.

Austin looked up as John walked up and smirked," deffinately." He easily rose to his feet then studied Kohn for a second before continuing," and bobcat? Really? You got the wrong cat." He chuckled softly and folded his arms across his chest, shaking his head slightly. "Where should we go to?"
