Alright, In-Character post is nearly done. Since the end of it requires characters to break off and spar with another character, I'd like everyone to go ahead and figure out who that is (so things can be organized and ready to go BEFORE the thread is actually up) so the two of you can spar. You don't HAVE to spar with another player-character, but I'd prefer it if everyone could go ahead and get a test match in before we move past the intro. This is to get everyone accustomed to the combat system and collaborating on fights.

Also, this fight will not count towards leveling; as it is simply a practice run. After the fight the freshmen will be given their Ranking Trinket, if they plan to participate in the F.S.N (only one character I can think of who shouldn't accept one).

Alright, awesome! I'll be subscribing to keep track of this. Also considering playing a Heavy Blade. Is the cross-class thing still a thing and will it factor into character creation; or are you thinking of having most folk start at a lower level?

One question: Which version of The World are we working with? I watched the show, played the first series of games, as well as the first installment of G.U. It doesn't particularly matter to me which one we do, I am just curious.

Edit: If I misunderstood your intention when you said 'based on', let me know. I got all excited when I saw .hack. Any kind of VR-MMORPG based RP appeals to me and I am still super interested.
