Lol sounds god. Hopefully we can get at least 2 or 3 more people
Lol fair enough ^~^ we might want to wait for more interest before diving into CS's though lol. To make sure this lifts off. So. Let your friends know! :3
Lol yes. That's right. He wouldnt XD A world without mewtwo... I didn't even think of that. But yes, no mewtwo. And you know what? I'd consider allowing pseudo legendaries for the guards. The way it works is that the legendaries see great rulers of man and dedicate themselves to the cause of those rulers if they agree with it. Just because a legendary offers its service to you, doesn't mean you have to have accepted. The royal family of course is expected to have a legendary companion as a sign of peace between man and pokemon. But yes, the legendaries are available to the royal guard as well as they see their great service to their leaders and have respect for their chivalry :)

Psuedo legendaries can include:
Haxorus (Just for you)
Dragonite
Salamance
Hydreigon
Tyranitar
Metagross
Eelektross
Garchomp

Feel free to inquire about any others
I can't wait for this to start ^.^
I'm Just working on which ones to offer ^.^ Shouldn't be too too long now :)

Many centuries ago the legendary pokemon of the world were not as they are today. No, long ago the great beings of the pokemon world lived side by side with mankind, unafraid and trusting of their intentions. Things were simpler back then. There were no evil machines out to catch pokemon and contain them for evil uses, no mechanisms to extract the power of the legendaries, only trust and companionship: the ideal.

In the land of Urael there lived a princess in a great castle. Her parents had left her in charge of her future kingdom so they could travel the world gaining knowledge of their fellow kings and queens of the lands. The princess held no fear for her parents' absence, for she had by her side a legendary companion who would protect her at all costs. As if that wasn't enough, her younger siblings were all about the castle and the royal guard wouldn't have let a joltik slip past them. The princess felt safe. For weeks she went about her duties, knowing full well what was expected of her. With the help of the legendaries that called the castle their home, the kingdom was peaceful and well sustained. All was well... or so it seemed.

One morning the princess saw through her window, a dark shadow seeping over the edge of the horizon. Though far in the distance and hardly noticeable at all, a terrible chill crept down her spine. She summoned a meeting with her brothers and sisters and the kingsguard. This shadow was an ominous sign, they all agreed, and while the king and queen were absent, it was the duty of the princess and those around her to find out the source of darkness and stop it, if need be.

Welcome Lovelies :)

+The Rundown+
We live in a time before pokeballs, before team rocket/plasma/magma/anything else, before pokedexes, before the legendaries became the elusive pokemon we all love to hunt down and catch. Instead, the legendaries help rule the lands with the kings and queens. I will be playing the role of the princess, Zokura. There will be the following slots available:
Siblings (Royal Family)
1.
2.
3.
Kings' Guard
1.
2.
3.
4.
5.

Now, the siblings are all younger than Zokura, even if by 10 months (busy queen eh?) Don't worry though, Zokura is 26 so we won't be playing children. The siblings may each choose a legendary from the list to have as their "companion" and the kings' guard will choose from a different list. If you really want one that's not on the lists, PM me. The guards are all well trained in whatever talent you choose, be it battling, stealth, stradegy, healing. Just choose one :) The siblings and Zokura will have their own talents of course, be they acrobats, scholars, alchemists, etc (being royalty they were raised to flourish in their talents.) We're going to start off by going out to investigate the dark shadow on the horizon. And that's how the adventure will begin :)

Pokemon "catching":
We won't be "catching" any pokemon, no. Things are much more chivalrous back in these days. You'll battle a pokemon and it will vow its loyalty to you until it has paid its debt or you offer it its leave. Your only permanent pokemon will be your legendary which will have sworn an oath to serve the land by serving you. No pokeballs, no pokedexes, no "sprays" for healing. It'll be a fun time.

List of Legendaries:

Royal Family:
-Suicune (Zokura's companion)
-Raiku
-Entei
-Shaymin
-Latios
-Latias
-Celebi
-Cresselia
-Manaphy

Kings' Guard:
-Articuno
-Moltres
-Zapdos
-Deoxys
-Uxie
-Mespirit
-Azelf
-Jirachi
-Registeel
-Regice
-Regirock
-Phione

The Following Legendaries are not available as they are "Higher Legendaries" and do not have time to stand at the side of a single person to fulfill their duties but might help us along the way:
-Arceus (Self explanatory)
-Ho-oh
-Lugia
-Regigigas
-Palkia
-Dialga
-Giratina
-Mew (Mew is like the castle pet. It's always showing up and doing awesome little things or good deeds then running off to help the townsfolk.)
-Groudon
-Kyogre
-Rayquazza (These three aren't available because the three birds/hounds are: someone needs to watch over the elements.)
-Heatran
-Zygarde
-Yveltal
-Xerneas
Woo, done at last :) Can't wait to see what kind of pack members everyone comes up with ^~^
Pack Name:The Winters moon Pack
Name: Shade Starscream
Gender: Male
Age: 6
Appearance:

Rank: Beta
Personality: Shade's personality can be summed up in one word: Loyal. His position as Beta is something he takes very seriously and he would have it no other way than to offer his life and service to the Alphas of his pack. But his loyalty does not end with the great leaders of the Winter's Moon Pack, he cares deeply for each member, especially the pups of the pack and would lay down his life for their own safety. Shade can come across as being rude or overly stern, but his heart is a warm one and it's gentle warmth becomes apparent whenever he interacts with the pups. He wants more than anything to find a mate and pass his genes down to his own pups, but his duty is demanding and he would never shirk his responsibilities for the lure of a female in estrus. He is in his prime and enjoys few things more than to go for high speed runs through the dense forests, taking in the stunning landscape as he burns off all his worries and stresses. He is highly self disciplined and keeps his body in peak condition to ensure he does not fail his Alpha's or the hunting team.

History: Shade was sire by a now passed Beta named Starscream. His name was given to him for the unusual howls he produced which sent eerie chills down even the boldest of wolves. Shade is a perfect copy of his father in appearance, having no sign of his mother's silvery fur on his coat. He does, however, carry her eyes. Shade has been in the pack since birth and learned to love its members. His mother passed when he was 2 years old when difficulties presented during her labor to bring twins into the world. None of the three survived. Shade's father took great care of him and cherished him as his first and only born son, but his time came too no more than 4 seasons ago and he passed peacefully with age into the Moon Mother's arms where he would sing his eerie songs with his passed mate and pups. Shade became beta at that time and has honored Farkas' choice to offer him his father's long held position. Despite his many losses of loved ones, he is very much at peace with the waxing and waning of each living thing's life and has even come to accept the loss of his mother and siblings.

Strengths: Shade is a fierce hunter and physically in his prime. He is larger than most wolves, giving him an edge when taking down big game. His time with his father taught him critical thinking and tactics or war and of hunt.
Weaknesses: Shade knows much of loyalty and little of love. He has a hard time letting pack members get too close to him, though not intentionally...if only his social skills were are impressive as his hunting skills. Luckily he feels at home around the alpha's and the pups.
Family: No Living family.
Mate: No mate currently.
Pups:None, though he longs for some.

Pack Name: Stardust Vale Pack
Name: Sequoia [Seh-coy-ah] (Quoia for short)
Age: 5
Gender: Female
Appearance:

Rank: Beta
Personality: Sequoia is a warm hearted, zen, wise she-wolf. She claimed her place as beta of the Stardust Vale pack not through her hunting, which are up to standard for a beta, but instead for her ability to remain calm and analyse any situation placed before her. She believes a pack must be well rounded, filled with members of all kinds; she herself has taken the role of the intellectual one and prefers to stand and wait, observing the ongoings around her and saying only only what needs to be said and when it needs to be said. She is kind and patient, a strong maternal sense fills her soul, as is expected with a female wolf of her age and position. Though she does not have a mate, she enjoys the idea of the bond between a mated pair and silently awaits the day she finds another whose howls harmonize perfectly with hers beneath the pale moon.

History: Quoia was not born into the Stardust Vale pack, rather she came here when she was mere days old, or so she is told. Her mother was a wanderer, having left her own pack for reasons of which she would not speak. She said that she had set out into the wild to seek a new family for she could no longer stay with the one she had known. Quoia never knew her father, and her mother only ever told her that he was a brave, noble wolf that did his duty to the pack. While she enjoyed daydreaming about a heroic wolf defending the honor of her mother and their pack, she eventually gave up the daydreaming and focused on her maturing life and new responsibilities to the Stardust Vale pack.
She grew quickly in mind though she was very much a late bloomer by body. She always assumed she was the runt of her mother's womb until one day, she was nearly 3, she seemed to blossom as her coat thickened and shone one spring and her body grew from a stumpy, nothing-special form into a tall, slender, lean build which she accented with seasons upon season of training while holding a position of hunter. She learned from the Betas that led her hunting team and eventually claimed a place of her own in the higher ranks. She serves her duty well and love the Alpha truly and deeply. Her loyalty was offered and received and she would not soon have it returned.

Strengths: Sequoia is logical and witty; she uses her quick thinking and plotting mind to execute technical maneuovers while in the hunt, seeing that the elk might be glancing towards a certain direction, looking for a way out, leading her to pick up and circle around to an unsuspecting path, only to have the elk run straight into her awaiting jaws. She is not so easily fooled.
Weaknesses: Quoia has a tendency to drift off in her thinking, landing her in hot water on the occasion as she snaps out of her thoughts, only to find the prey running off over the distant landscape. While her intellect is enviable, her build is, by genetics, delicate, and therefore she is prone to injury; scrapes and sprains from taking on too large of prey or attempting too far jump are common sights on this she wolf, despite her "calculations that it should work".
Family: Her mother, Skye Blaze, passed away peacefully two moons ago. Her father is unknown. No siblings.
Mate: No Mate, but she is of age and actively seeking to silence her estrus and bear young.
Pups: None yet.
Oh, and one other question: do we need to follow the list of actions and meanings? Or is it just for people who aren't sure how animals would act? It just might get kind of difficult writing out a post having to refer back the wolf/english dictionary all the white ^.^ I would usually write things like:
"She scratched at the ground with her front paw in discomfort, the flesh of her cheeks heating as the butterflies returned."
"The she-wolf lowered her head and gently nipped at the pup's scruff, a loving look filing her eyes."
"The silence of the skies broke with the cold, ominous howls of solitude as the alpha sang his songs of longing for the pack that would not answer."

Is it okay if we just freestyle as long as the point gets across?
Is there going to be an alpha female in the stardust vale pack? If so, Is it a slot available? If so, may I claim it?if not, may I claim a beta of the Stardust Vale pack and a beta of the Winters Moon pack?
(Lol I feel like I'm calling dibs in holos from a new pokemon set release XD)
