Simon chuckled at the wing man comment. The thought of a sleepy statue and a hyper spider cruising for chicks was too funny.
"You could always ask someone from the Fashion Club to make some custom stuff for you. I mean, it'd be glittery and full of pizazz, sure, bu-"

The centaur winced as the speakers all around the school crackled and buzzed into life. What was it about school speakers that required them to open with an ear piercing sound ever time? A happy female voice bubbled over the speakers.
"HELLOOOO FELLOW CLASS MATES! Welcome back to another wonderful year at Ouroboros Academy! I hope you all had a great vacation! At this time, we will ask that all students please begin moving to the Stadium, where we will commence the Opening Ceremony! For you newcomers who have NO IDEA where that is, FOLLOW THE GARGOYLES!"
On cue, several gargoyles trailing brightly colored ribbons flew out from the rooftops, circling and guiding the crowd. Several landed on rooftop corners, gesturing the proper direction. The students surged, the chatter growing as Simon thrust the remaining flyers at Zarahk, leaping down the steps and nearly taking out a unicorn in the process.
"Sorry! Zarahk, go ahead without me, I need to help Diana and the others close the booth. Nice seeing you again John! CRAP!"
A minotaur bowled over the centaur, both landing in a heap. Simon's hand shot up.
"I'M GOOD!"
"Dammit Cloudbrain..."
The speakers crackled a bit, the sounds of a brief struggle with some whining, followed by a male voice.
"Oh shush, I let you do the opening. First year students are reminded that they must sit in the lower section of the stands. All clubs and sports teams, please close down your booths before leaving the commons."
"You're no fun!"
The speaker shut off with a loud snap. The booths were already collapsing as the entire student body moved towards in the direction of the Stadium, a gargantuan marble colosseum.

The rumor is that the ammonia within the urine will combine with the bleach and make chlorine gas, which would kill you.

The truth is that you would need pure ammonia, not the trace amounts within urine.

*reads the post* .....well, I know how to break Gabriel even easier now.

EDIT: Everyone should be moving towards the stadium, where we will wrap up our first day together.

*updates avatar to something suitably intimidating* Alright, no one is backing out of rivals. This is good. Now, some of you I may need to delay the rivals until your character fleshes out more, but rest assured, all you who want one are gonna get one. This way we don't have a tidal wave of hate just crash on everyone.

Azathoth, trust me, I've got plans for you.

*checks the IC* Okay, I'll be pushing the RP forward, but I'll give Cedric a biiiit longer...and yes cedric, I have some ideas for you. None of you are safe, it's just to what degree will I screw with you.

EDIT: I should probably clarify, if you guys take a little longer to post, I'm not upset with you or anything. If I mention you a lot, it's because I want to make it clear why I'm waiting or anything, not angry or trying to single anyone out, except Berzie *mads* because they keep making puns and I"m going to kill them for it.

EDIT: Okay, I've been analyzing your characters everyone, nitpicking, finding stuff to use against you. So I'm going to ask this ONCE, just so I don't ruin anybody's experience.

Does anyone NOT want a rival, will they get upset if I make someone actively trying to upset and potentially emotionally damage your character *and possibly physically*, because if so, and there's no shame, tell me now so I don't ruin your experience. I totally understand if you want a more laid back experience with your character, and don't want me pushing them to the limit, because I'm going to tell you right now.

Some of the stuff I've come up with for you guys is absolutely brutal.

But I'm not here to upset you. So tell me now, silence will be taken as you have no problems with having one. And NO ONE will make fun of anyone if they opt out of rivals. Not everyone has one, but like I said, they are trying to break you, and I've singled out a few of you pretty easily.

So, anyone want me to avoid you for the rivals?

I only mention it because I will not be pulling any punches with them. I will make them use your characters worst fears and insecurities against them at the most inopportune times. They won't be silly little friendly rivals. They are out to break you.

Looking through our roster, Epiphany and TheAllFather have not posted, so consider them off the roster. Hopefully none of you had any plans with their characters. :)

On another note, once Supreme and cedric post in reaction to my last one, I will be moving the RP forward, as it seems about ready to push to the next day. Any objections?

EDIT: Oh, and I should probably mention that I've taken the liberty of creating some rivals who will be actively going against and instigating some of your characters. They will be introduced during the first club meetings. :)
