I'm pretty sure the seals are only against full blood yokai
Oh I was mistaken, my new character is a red head. Silly me.

I know there was mention of magical barriers and seals. I would imagine the architecture is actually pretty beefy of it's meant to be a safehouse.

Spawnling, totally gonna implement your idea, btw.

Also wasn't it a Rabisu?
I just noticed Len's character has a thing for red heads, and the only red head is the villain.

*totally has a thing for red heads, high fives Len*
Name: Victor Steiner

Age: 20

Gender: Male

Role: Descendant

Apartment No: 2B

He almost always wears suit coats and business shirts, dressing relaxed formal. His hair is vibrant red.

Victor grows to the size of a large truck, weighing a couple tons, when in Yokai form.

Race: Jabberwocky

Abilities: While human, Victor grows bristles of razor sharp crystals around his forearms that he can break off and hurl like throwing knives. These are sharp enough to slice metal and stone, but are limited by his own strength, which is only slightly above a humans. As such, they have a limited range and seem to cause intense pain as he rips them out of his body.
When in his Yokai form, Victor can instead exhale a blizzard of shards that slices, impales, and cuts. He flings large spires of crystal that can impale several enemies in a row. However, his body is made of crystal, and is surprisingly fragile considering it's bulk. As such, he's more useful as a ranged artillery instead of a front line combatant. The blizzard of crystal is absolutely lethal if one is hit dead on with it, leaving nothing more than a pile of minced meat in it's wake.

Strengths/Weaknesses: His crystals are unbelievably sharp, able to cut through most materials and inflict grievous bleeding lacerations. While strong, he is incredibly fragile and his body is easily shattered from heavy impacts. He is rather resilient to slashing and heat attacks. However, he is completely and utterly blind in his Yokai form, requiring someone to guide and aim his attacks. Else he degenerates into using the crystals all around him, causing massive collateral damage while attempting to escape.

Personality: Somewhat timid and naive, Victor is soft spoken and excessively polite and respectful. Caring deeply for others and their well being, he is the apple that fell far from the tree. While not a coward, he knows his limitations, and has no problem stepping aside to give the spotlight to another. Content to be the supporting shadow, Victor's mannerisms keep him from ever stepping too far out of his father's shadow. However, when backed into a corner, he shows excellent courage and resolve, surprising foes with his surgical precision with the crystal shards or simply overwhelming them with the blizzard in his full form. He has extensive biological knowledge of both humans and yokai, which he hopes to use to become a surgeon to help both species, but also uses to brutal efficiency in battle, hitting arteries, lungs, and various tender spots on his foes. His attitude to such painful demises is nonchalant on the surface, but clearly shakes him to the very core.

Bio: Born to a German family well known in the medical world, Victor was always the child forgotten. Not by his family, they were warm, devoted, and loving, but most never knew there was a son to the Steiner family. Overshadowed by his father's surgical prowess and his sister's medicinal revolutions, Victor led a quiet, easy going life. However, when a patient died on his father's operating table, a powerful cartel of Yokai targeted him as the easiest victim for revenge. But the Steiner family is far from weak, and even Victor proved a difficult target to take down. After numerous attempts on his life, a blood vendetta was sworn on the child and entire family, with a large bounty rewarded to whoever would kill them. To avoid losing his children, Victor's father set up all that was necessary to put them in the care of Primrose, deciding to wage total war on the cartel. The pair fled across the world, and eventually, his sister decided to find their father and join the fight. With no one left in his world and out of options, Victor continued the journey to Primrose Terrace.

Other: He is incredibly easy to startle, making loud yelping noises and blushing intensely when caught off guard. His nervous tic is to fidget with his glasses.

I figure to avoid another "HEY I'M ANOTHER NEW GUY!" Victor has been at the Apartments for about three days. Assuming he's accepted.
Seems fair. I can delegate my character as bartender if he returns. Or...something.

*grabs a coin* Time to decide gender.

Actually that makes a lot of sense. Go for it, obviously Viridian gets final say, but go for it.
Awww! I really liked Akari, I'm sad now...

...also we're short two descendants again. Vi, do you want me to make a replacement?

You know, I think i know how Andrew is going to react to the cookies: "Not bad not." A few moments later, "May I be excused, I have to vomit profusely now."

I visualize something akin to this whenever we speak of Marie's cooking.
Andrew
Cameos: Alexis, Marie, Exo, Kimiko

Capello grinned and quirked one brow. The boy sucked at faking emotion, a good trait to have for someone who wanted to be honest, a bad one if they intended on not being honest. Fortunately, Capello didn't take it personally. He was used to having his reputation precede him, and even more used to being mistrusted to the point of rudeness. The boy seemed on edge and feigning politeness. Better than most, he supposed.

"It's okay, you don't need to force yourself on my account. I take it you've heard of me, judging by how tense you got when I said my name Mr. Buk."

The fox leaned back as voices hit his ears, checking down the hall. Marie, Exo, and another newcomer. Capello pointed down the hall, smiling at Andrew with a slight tilt to his head. Despite popular conceptions, the liar wasn't one to force others into his company for extended periods of time. This did cause a lot of questions about his motives though. He shook it from his mind as he spoke.

"Kitchen's that way. I highly recommend that whatever you decide to eat, you make it with your own hands. No matter how good it may look. Marie is the sweetest little thing, so avoid hurting her feelings if you can. Plus it lessens the chance that she'll push your face through the wall."

The fox started to evaporate from the feet up, then gave Andrew a deadly serious look.

"Seriously. Fear the cookie."

And with a puff, the fox had disappeared from sight, his real form padding down the hallway to the bar. No one would be there this early, and it would give him some time to think over the new descendants, possibly even choose one to offer himself to. Odds are it'd be like every other time though. He would take the straggler, being unwanted due to his reputation, easily spread through word of mouth, specifically Hime-chan's grumblings. The girl had trust issues, Capello could understand that much, even empathize with it. Still, didn't make it any less frustrating to have those looks cast at him all the time. The fox nudged the door open, the dim lights somewhat soothing to him. Anything that helped hide his presence just helped keep him calm. He was too large for the leather couches that were sprawled around, so instead he simply curled his massive form on the ground, and despite his better judgement, opted against an illusion to hide his form. The great white fox lay in the middle of the dim bar, eyes shut in concentration as his ears flicked back and forth for any sounds of approaching individuals.
