I gave some fodder/options for your character touchy stuffs. If you don't like it, want to say she's too tired to use the ability, or think I'm trying to role play your character, I can edit it out. If you have any other ideas you would want to do, I could also put that in my post @nephriel
Kyrtaar felt himself being helped up. He smiled weakly when she spoke to him. Aevah was a pretty name. The girl was half elf, and somewhere in Kyrtaars full blood told him to dislike her for it. But as an outcast himself from the Elves, he didn't see a point in it. "My name is Kyrtaar" he muttered, with his arm around her shoulder. "You know," he said "you never realize how bad an idea it is to wear your sword on your back until you fall on it" he finished, while rubbing his back.

If her touch based abilities kicked in, she may see visions of stars, and suns. Planets in strange orbits, or hear the songs of the cosmos, strange deep growls from the abyss. She may glimpse into his nightmares of his soul being devoured by a planet covered in eyes, but by and large, she'd be spared most of the horrific visions Kyrtaar was prone to. After a few steps, Kyrtaar would steady himself on his own. "Thanks for your help" he said, sincerely. "But I'll be fine from here, provided I don't have to manifest any more today, before we get under the open sky." He was lying a bit, but was able to keep pace with the group. His legs felt like hundred pound weights, but he'd be fine.
I'll be posting immediately after work, just to interact with Aevah, and to get it out of the way now. Won't really be advancing the story, or more than a paragraph
Are you guys going to post? There isn't a post order, and I left it open ended so anyone could post
Was that good? Meant to come off as a bit rant-y, flustered, and overwhelmed. Excited maybe
We're going to steel rehn this planet
Jacob heard the demand to halt, and did, in fact, stop. He turned around, and turned to be face to face with Asher. He looked at August, and back as Asher. He decided he would address Asher alone, and August separately when she arrived. Asher had his hands open, in a non-threatening manner, but Jacob's were balled into fists, as he continued to feel cornered.

Jacob spoke quickly to Asher, and brought his hand up, running it through his hair. "Okay, listen. This is going to sound crazy, I know. But. Well, see. How do I put this?" Jacob's mind was a mile ahead of his mouth. "I'm a fuckin' werewolf man. Alright? Tell anyone that, and they call the police, and have them send me to the shrink. You know? But you get within a mile of me, and I just get this feeling man. You're like me. Right?" Jacob said this last part, almost pleading for validation. "I'm not sayin' you're a wolf too, cause you know, you don't smell like one, but you're like me man. Light of the full moon, body of the animal, and shit, right?" Jacob put his hands on his hips, and looked at the ground, and laughed. "Man thats so weird to say."

By now, and after any quick words Asher may have had, August showed up, and Jacob looked at her. "You. I don't know what you are. But I can tell. I can tell you're not like these normal Joe Schmoes walking around. You're different. But I get this body snatcher, alien from the void feel from you, and it scares me." Jacob said. He stared at them both for a few minutes. "I don't even know why I went to this coffee shop, alright? I don't even like their coffee much. Tastes like brewed shit. But here I am, thinking I'm the only guy in the world like this. And I run into both of you? Is this fate?" Jacob asked.

Jacob looked at them both. "Does this scare you too? Do you guys understand whats going on?" He asked, again, almost pleading for understanding and clarity.
Does anyone want their character to be room mates with my duder? Possibly one of the Asian countries who hate America, so there can be some character development?
When the obviously crazy British man came over demanding names, and introducing himself as an Honorary captain, Eric would just point as his nametape, and read aloud "Ruven. Airman, Ruven."

Once the elevator started to descend however, Ruven could barely contain his excitement. He felt like he was in a movie. They were going to go into some secret underground military bunker, and grab some giant laser cannons, and go kill some aliens. Or something. Anything really. Doesn't matter when you use laser cannons. However, he quickly realized if this was a movie, it was a home movie. The elevator lead to vastly unfinished projects. Ruven felt deflated from it, and quietly exited the elevator. He followed the signs and group, flashing his badge to get through the security checkpoints, a little shocked at how utterly dirty it was. He thought the job hasty and unprofessional, and hoped this would be a short loan. A quick tour, and then right back on home. When they passed through the mess hall however, he quickly jogged off from the group, and acquired a sandwich, he rejoined the group, and once he made it to the barracks, chose a bed on the end of the room, sitting down on it.
