Oh yeah, Vindictus! It's technically an MMO, but the actual gameplay parts take place in instanced dungeons. I've only played a little bit of it, but I think it's a pretty solid action game. Can't say much for how much it forces you to pay as you go further in though...

A good Free to play MMO

I've been play Dungeons & Dragons Online on and off for a while. It's pretty fun, and character customization is pretty open since it's based on D&D 3.5 rules with some modifications to suit a more combat-heavy game.

I imagine you might want the strong stuff to drink too, because all I'm giving you is a bit of wood to bite while I pull arrows out of you and stitch that sword wound back together. YOU TAKE THESE STICHES LIKE A MAN, Y'HEAR?

Now that my position is decided though, I'm going to do some more research into Dark Ages medicine.
