Statistics Center, Makudan Homeworld, Unknown, Classified Coordinates
"Seven-twenty thousand and still counting. Doesn't fail to impress me about how fast we're expanding. And those scrap technology of that multigalactic empire, simply astounding to have got them. Looks as if they were fresh out of extinction." Odometus glanced at the many screens, some of which were overlapping each other. His forefinger rubbed against his chin, gazing at the numbers and charts.

"Now, now, Odometus. We've still got a long way to go before we go on freely rampaging around the cosmos. Eh, maybe it's boring if we're the only ones here. Maybe spare some?"

"Now that i think of it, Kotonus, can we try to get even just a bit of attention from the Odenders?"

"For the sake of protocol, i obje- oh, hell. Others agree. Fine, order the spy fleets to fire some weak shot."

Odendus Sector 5b
As the fleets stay organized and uncovered within distance of a star system, which appeared to be holding a multiracial meeting, they receive the order. One of the ships thrusted forward for a short distance, before firing a bright ball of light that apparently isn't aimed at whatever object.
How did Earth get destroyed? I can't find any post explaining how it turned from a rocky, watery sphere to a rock cluster.
Immortal Caliber, Laboratory Room
"So, Kotonus. Do you guarantee that mixing that noisy son of a gun's cells with my body would be safe--- HOLY HELL, WOULD YOU PLEASE SHUT YOUR MOUTH THERE, I'LL RAMP UP THOSE GODDAMNED PAIN STIMULATORS FOR YOU IF YOU MANAGE TO DISRUPT OUR CONVERSATION ONCE MORE!" Retsukuu grunted, stomping her feet down hard on the floor.

"Retsukuu, my breth- wait, you're not a du- whatever, we haven't started the biological tests yet. And it's more easy to lower down that soundproof glass layer down that screaming pain in the rear end over there." Kotonus, another Aeternal, turned slightly to his right and pulled a lever. The soundproof chamber lowered down on the tortured Divinity's body that was held tightly.

"In other news, events in the Odender (Milky Way) Galaxy looks interesting. We can't just ignore this."

"But we should. It's protocol."

"How about just simply placing some spy fleets around them?"

"Well.... i can't argue with that, for sure. You're doing nothing to them, just looking. Since you proposed that idea, i'll vote a yes. And it seems most other Aeternals have done a yes too. This is official. Espionage command to 3 spy fleets has been ordered."
The Immortal Caliber
"Why, yes! Now get on with reverse engineering that!"

"They look secure. This dead intergalactic civilization seems that they don't want their technological legacies to be passed on. Some of their cannons and travel devices retrieved from newly colonized Skadi Galaxy looks to have patenting mechanisms too complex to solve."

"Then get on with breaking that security, no matter how hard it is for you!"

The chief engineer rushed away towards the dock bay, running in some sort of Ykutish manner. One of the most influential council members of the present, Retsukuu glanced back towards the window, where numerous incompetent Asceradii slaves, in which some have absolutely refused any orders from the Makudan authority, others caught planning rebellions, and there were also those who refused to reproduce forcibly. Those selected for culling due to infertility were guillotined with a laser beam that sliced through their necks clean and thorough. While the procedures were ongoing, the Immortal Caliber's enormous structure loomed above, it's vast shadow covering the execution sites. This colossal ship was a remnant of Zoradean legacy, as it used to be the Phantasmia, a mark of the Asceradiian race's prodigious territories that ceased to exist in the present time. The design was slightly different; Kaiyouan architectural designs were incorporated into the Immortal Caliber, and more expansions were made, but the black color still remains.

"Retsukuu, could you please do some respect to your best subordinates? It's not like they're Asceradiians, or anything comparable to them. They're your fellow Kaiyou; treat them as your kind." Odometus, another respected council member, turned towards her. Retsukuu's wings spread out, as if she was slightly startled.

"Fine, fine, Odometus. I'm just not in the right mood today."

"And, the explanation?"

"Since we've found that treasure waiting within the galaxies we've started to expand into lately, i can't keep up with this work."

"Because you've been working by yourself. Try getting some help from your trusty Aeternals."

"Is this some plan of yours to spend some suspicious time with me?"

"Retsukuu, i didn't say 'especially myself'. What i did mean was said there. If you don't like working with me, then that's okay."

Retsukuu spaced out for a moment and looked down, thinking of who to choose. She turned back to him.

"Well, alright. You could help."
Large Magellanic Cloud (Makudan Designation: Extretus)
"It's larger than we imagined. It's the best place to eradicate the troubles inhabiting the stars and bask the Cloud in our glory."
The High Admiral glanced towards the astronomical features of the Extretus. Bright stars were littered across the fascinating, colorful displays of molecular clouds, some even bright enough to read a book within the ship with no lights on. And the design of the flagship, there were curved beams of armor spiraling and wrapping around the intricate, aerodynamic shapes of the spacecraft. A huge cloud of smaller ships surrounded the High Admiral's, which led the expansion fleet.

She made a few gestures, splitting the fleet and directing the subfleets towards the nearest star systems with identified planets. The ships raced towards their respective locations, arriving within a few moments of the command. The slaughter began afterward.

It was a fairly cloudy day. Various tribes of different cultures, all in the same world, began to do their daily duties. The farmers were busy harvesting their crops, the miners were occupied with slamming their tools to the rocks, carrying their load back to within carts, wives selling whatever their husbands had made in their jobs, and warlords preparing their armies for combat with rivaling tribes. The creaking sounds of the wheels of carts, the aroma of grilled meat in their homes, the grunts of farmers carrying sacks of their harvest, they were all around the busy villages.

Today, however, something caught their interest. Odd glowing balls in the sky suddenly appeared, slowly descending down the sky. Some moved in erratic directions, some gradually growed larger, and some were orbiting larger balls. The people knelt before the sight, for they have taken the mysterious event as the sign of their Gods appearing. Some prayed fervently, some held wooden crafts of worship in their hands, others, simply stared while kneeling, left astonished.

Once the chaotic explosions began, people were raising their hands up the sky, as if they want to be claimed by their "gods". Indeed they were, figuratively.

History
Like the further advanced races of the Local Group (that being Draconians and Zoradeus), the Kaiyou of the Triangulum Galaxy started to reach to the outer reaches of their world at the time when humans were spending time on how to count with sticks, stones and bones. However, magical energies were their main factors in the expansive growth of the Domaenus Makudan, unlike electrical currents, so the Makudan could have outran Draconian and Zoradean technology, weren't it for the scraps of futuristic technology that were left on their worlds that brought them to rise to power, which the Kaiyou didn't have the advantage of.

The Empire began hungering to dominate the entire Triangulum, following a massive alien invasion, when the Kaiyou successfully stood against an army of hundreds of thousands of ships, with only 90,000 forces in their arsenal. They took over the leftovers of the hostile ships, assimilated to use magic, and turned the odds of the battle. With this, the Kaiyouan civilization felt an increasing hunger for territories, transitioning from a lone race desiring isolation to a battle-hungry empire, expanding gradually with frequent wars against equally advanced races keeping the rate of territorial increase in check. The Makudan's sphere of influence spread across the galaxy, bringing awareness to the smaller spacefaring civilizations and uniting them to stand against the ever-increasing nation, which ended up as a useless effort that managed to get the Makudan to finish off the rest of the Triangulum. However, the people began to fear the possibility of a race with multiple allies technologically on par with the Makudan, after a theory proposed by one of the past members of the Aeternal Council regarding such empires. Thus then, they have proposed the contact protocol of ignoring suspected races until acknowledgement, which was later approved.

The time came when a civilization under the name of the Zoradeus trespassed into the Makudan. The foolish invaders were careless of their technology; their dark matter weaponry was stolen and analyzed right away. Although the energy couldn't still be used for magical purposes, it still proved to be a helpful tool in the takeover of the aliens. The Zoradeus rapidly fell, and by the [time this app is accepted], the entirety of the Zoradeus has been taken over. The Emperor, which has been proven quite difficult to kill due to his biological semi-immortality, was subjected to perpetual torture. All other officials that once ruled with an iron fist over the regions they were assigned to by the Emperor were put in the lowest position of slaves. Resistances of Asceradii, however, still remain, posing a small problem for the Milky Way regions of Makudan territory.

Of note:

  • The Makudan controls half a million worlds, with nearly two-fifths of the total controlled planets being uninhabitable yet colonized with habitation sites, and one fifths being terraformed. Two-fifths of the total count once belonged to the Zoradeus, which had at most 200,000, a staggering rate of expansion since the 1,000 mark made by the Zoradeus some time before the Draconian War, where they continued expansion until their downfall.

  • Technology, despite having only recently absorbing the creations of the Zoradeus, is still on par with the latter, with the exception of dark matter. This is because most ship classes and weapons of the Makudan function similarly to Asceradii-created ones, with the difference of magic being used in most Makudan weaponry. For information on the Zoradeus, see app within original thread.

  • Ticking off the Makudan can sometimes be a great mistake. If you don't want another Draconian to happen, you're better off making peace.

On another note most Equestrian tech has magic combined with it, this Magitech is a lot more powerful then non-magic version. Also on the note of amplification its hard to do with a individual, it usually used when you have a large group of spellcasters who need a lot of energy.

So if yours can't be amplified with only an individual, the Makudan-type magical energies can be achieved with only one person. Basically, Equestrians have a wide variety of spells, but needs a group to amplify magic, while on the other hand the Kaiyou only has a few spells they are capable of naturally as an individual, but the devices, while not only making their magic stronger, also extend the number of Makudan spells into hundreds of thousands, and with the same single person. Magic differs from race to race, you know.

Also keep your eyes peeled on the history.
Name of nation: Domaenus Makudan (formerly only Makudan before takeover of the Zoradeus)
Species: The dominating species of the Domaenus consists of the Kaiyou, an agile, white-skinned, elf-like, crow-winged humanoid species adept at magical abilities. Their naturally-developed genetic adaption and mutation by the mystic essences of the atmosphere of their homeworld gave way to their interesting abilities, although reasons for the contents of the homeworld's atmosphere is currently unknown. Their magic, on their own, is only basic compared to the Equestrians, only capable of telekinesis and illusionary magic, but tools developed during the entire course of the Kaiyouan history amplified that ability to a great amount, ranging from healing, to wireless electronics, and to numerous military purposes, including collaborative spells that result in planetary destruction. For the slave race under the Domaenus, see the Zoradeus app in the original thread.
Description of government: The Aeternum Council governs the entirety of all the Makudan's assets, including, but not limited to, territories, infrastructure, citizens, armed forces, and resources. Under the Aeternum, subcouncils governing various regions of the Makudan territory manage situations within the areas, while lessening the strain in the efforts of the Aeternum to keep order within the entire Makudan. (although the citizens support the governance of the officials in most of Makudan history.) While they mostly obliterate races primitive in technology for expansion, they usually ignore the faster-than-light capable civilizations, until the aliens attempt either diplomacy or hostile action towards the Makudan, which will be met with the appropriate response.
Description of military: As a race with magic as a valuable utility, and as a race that has overcome a larger empire, the Makudan has proven to be one of the most dangerous enemies to face, especially since their takeover of the Zoradeus, if one ever manages to anger them. They can try to find any flaw within a race if they can-- and use even the tiniest ones into their massive advantage to defeat an enemy larger than theirs, as in the case of the Triangulum War, when the Makudan has found that the Zoradeus doesn't quite take care of the remains of their ships and used the technology left behind to overturn the battle greatly. Their devices can amplify magic to a great amount, as in the case of turning their telekinesis into a gravitational pull that crashes enemy ships toward each other, manipulation of fire into manipulation of deadly plasma, manipulation of light energy into deadly laser beams, among many others. Leaving magic aside, they still use power cores in case of a large energy need on a device that magical energy normally won't power.
History:
And later. This is just a basic overview of the new species.
Third choice is on.

App underway.
