A Hero Tale {Complete}

The sage stared blankly as he tried to bring up more insults to faze him. To be frank, it might have worked if it wasn't for the stuttering and freaking out that took place around the end of it all.

"Well, if it isn't obvious...?" The sage grinned "You are not looking too great yourself. I did manage to stab that nice hole in your chest after all."

The sage began to slowly approach Dacer overcharging the wind cannon in his right gauntlet while pointing his sword blade from his left gauntlet towards him. "It's as I suspected, your one with nature form indeed has a limit, just as Jenso's did. And it looks like your about at it!"

The sage couldn't help but feel there was a tad more to it then that as well, perhaps something to do with Pij being suddenly stolen away and Dacer not being able to handle it. Either way, there was an opening and Jeff wasn't gonna let it slip by without at least trying something. Turning into a full speed dash towards Dacer, Jeff charged forward aiming his left gauntlet out and firing out a cannonball sized blast that aimed to straight up nail Dacer in the gut with the power of a train. He then followed up with the blade equipped to his left hand and launched wind scythes at his left and right sides along with one above him, attempting to cut off any means of escape.

"Oz might look like blender meat right now, but I'm sure that's only cause he took down Ada, leaving you as the last thing in our way to getting in the tower! So do us a favor and quit now, before I get serious!"

A horrified expression overtook the wind sage for a moment as he stared and watched Jenso's one with nature power get stolen from him and absorbed into Dacer. He had half expected this to cause him to mutate into some weird bird cat human hybrid, but thankfully that didn't seem to be the case, at least just yet. Overall now he was worried about Jenso and immediately wanted to get over to him to try and feed or inject a power pill into him, but he doubted that Dacer would give him the chance. Instead he turned his focus to Dacer and prepared to challenge him head on knowing that he'd need to find an opening to heal Jenso first before even trying to attempt it.

"Psssssh" Jeff spat at Dacer as stood there watching as he mocked him and his powers and tech. "Sure I got more tricks! Are they worth using on you? I dunno, guess we'll find out!"

As Oz showed up Jeff's eyes widened in surprised as he half expected him to be fighting Ada still, but then took note that most of the blobs had ceased fire for the time being. Jeff started to make a comment on it but stopped and blurted out in laughter upon the Fist of Krato's mentioning of Dacer being a furry. "HA! I was thinking that almost the entire time, but I was trying reeeeally hard not to say anything. And I mean REALLY!"

After laughing for a couple more moments the sage calmed himself back down and readied for Dacer to try his next move.

The sage grit his teeth in anger once more as he watched Jenso goy downright caught in the Royal Amp, overall he knew Jenso could tank the hit though, especially with One With Nature's power blazing with him now.

Hearing Dacer taunt him the sage smirked at him before leting out an excited if not slightly nervous laugh. "And here I thought you were just gonna rant on about Lark and Jenso all day. Way to leave a best friend left out ya know"

Jeff took the moment to recharge his wind cannons once again and let chain finally finish reforming from the extra nanobots at his disposal. With that however, his use of them was now limited to 2 spheres ay a time or one big booster item. At least without the tower sending in more supplies or grabbing some from the bag of holding that Bruce held onto.

'With him able to match my speed, and me running out of tricks this fights gonna get tricky fast.. I better find a way to end this quick, rather not be forced to use that just yet though..'

The wind sage shurged as the nanobot he were wipped out faster then he thought they would be. Overall he hadn't expectes too much out especially seeing how so few got into Dacer's body, but he would have hoped for a slight stronger reaction from it. 'Trial and error... gonna need much larger bursts of nanobots if they are to do anything on the Order guys' The sage thought to himself as he continued dashing until he felt safely out of range.

Seeing Jenso's One with Nature form appear Jeff could only expect that this would make Dacer downright have Jenso be his primary target for the next few moments. Doing his best to help his friend make some distance from the feline, the sage proceeded to fire off a couple of wind cannon sniper rounds attempting to cut off Dacer's approach on the golden hero.

Before Dacer could even slice the chain apart, Jeff had seperated the links in order to prevent Dacer's ki from spreding into it and getting into his gauntlet. As the wind sage retracted what was left of the chain back into his gauntlet, the orbs of nanobots returned to Jeff and began to change shapr yo replace the claw and chain that was seperated from him. Dacer might had managed to damage his tech a little with that, but the sage smriked reguardless as his plan of attack even still wasn't quite finished just yet.

Even with Dacer replacing the ki that consumed his broken bit of chain, the arcane powered nanobots that were apart of it managed to release some of themselves into the wound that was created and slowly made there way to explosed nerves that could be reached and thus readied for Jeff's upcomming orders. And while Dacer's ki managed to stop some of the nanobots, plenty would have scatteres in the wound before he had a chance to do so.

At this point, Jeff could see Dacer getting angry along with actions which seemed to be considered by the wind sage as desperation. "And here I thought you we're always a fan of my technology Dacer!" The sage mocked as he did his best to avoid or block the ki blasts with his nanoblade like he did just moments before. "You were the one that inspired me to push it this far! So you can only blame yourself for what comes next, my friend!"

The sage took note of the pink hand that was ripping through the ground as well and easily deduced that being in the center for too much longer was most likely a terrible idea. Waiting for an opening between his attacks, Jeff then snapped his fingers causing the nanos latched onto his nerves to attack them and thus send sharp signals of pain through the felines body, attempting to slow him down long enough to potentially create an opening for Jenso and a chance for him to launch himself out of the circle at full speed.

The sage's eyes widened as he saw his clones dissipated once again, but smirked as it seemed to leave the orbs inside them intact. Not hesitating on the moment of Dacer appearing in front of him, the sage set the orbs off sending a bright flash of light into the cat man's eyes while the other began to screech out sending out various high pitch sound waves which would echo especially well seeing how Dacer currently hat enhanced cat hearing. Thankfully the visor he wore was ready and blocked the flashes of light and the waves of sound making him downright immune to it. Jenso was out of range of the flash from effecting him but his visor still blocked out the loud sound bursts.

Even with the double dose of stuns being lashed out at Dacer, it wasn't enough to stop the blast of ki that was to come at Jeff when Dacer ultimately appeared right in front of him. With the attack's speed and the point blank range, attempting to dodge, even with his speed would prove to be ultimately futile. This left the scientist with one option as he flung his arm out towards the blast leaving afterimages with the swift movements as he went to clash with his nanoblade which was coated in his ki and boosted by Jenso's white flames. The sage thought back to with his side training with Bruce and the advice he had given the wind sage on how to handle a blade.

As the sage's ki clashed with the Gaian's, the sage shifted his body to the side of the attack while holding his arm in place before swinging it with the motion of Dacer's attack and launching it downwards towards the ground. Jeff then going with the motion of his movement before pulled his right hand inwards while building up ki in the grappling hook part of his gauntlet. The sage then jabbed his arm outwards in a straight line towards Dacer and fired out the grappling part towards the feline's chest. Unlike how it regularly worked, the chain and claw fired out in a stiff straight line due to the ki pulsing through it thus making it act as a spear tipped lance which would attempt to piece Dacer in the chest and then grapple him almost like harpoon would with a speared fish.

Jeff gave his buddy a thumbs up as he began to once more recharge his wind cannon gauntlets. "No probs" He grinned as he caught some of the flames being erupted added them to the charging wind cannon once again. He also took the moment to form 2 more wind mirages once more and place nano orbs inside of them while having the previous ones that were used up fly back into his backpack to recharge for further use later. "Can't say I have much to add on this whole Lark conversation tho, but I can say that we don't plan on leaving any order members alive. Especially Yzera."

With the sniper shot downright missing its, target Jeff seemed to be nervous at first, but then let out a sigh of relief that the Golden hero was at least able to catch it. Still the wind sage would have to act fast as that wouldn't save Jenso for long with Dacer charging in at him. Jeff quickly shot his hand out towards the sniper shot and had it change direction mid air in order for it to resume its original objective. Between Jeff applying focus to the bullet to increase it's speed and direction while Jenso was now literally holding the saw in place, dispersing the saw would only take a mater of seconds.

With his free hand, the wind sage slashed his nanoblade downwards at Dacer, sending a large burning wind scythe down to cut off his approach to Jenso. The mirage merely floated next to the real one, by ready to guard Jeff with the orb it had hidden inside itself.

Jeff grunted as his words went a little ignored, but overall he understood that there was a still a lot between Dacer and Jenso that even he didn't entirely know about and thus decided to accept it. Seeing the ferocious feline's slashing ki coming from one way and him trying to pounce from the other it left Jeff with a couple of choices on what to do. With his wind orbs still yet to make contact with anything, he had each of them compress themselves into about the size of tennis ball before flying off each at the speed of a bullet to the center of each ki slash, attempting to disperse all of them while the Jeff and his mirage both rocketed into the air, reaching about castle height when Jeff's eyes widened and took notice of the flame saw coming in from orbit.

"Well shit.. JENSO WE GOT INCOMING FROM ABOVE!!"

Not being one to let something like that go ignored as it could potentially meet shit levels of trouble if ignored, fired off the a sniper bullet from his gauntlet that composed of white fire and compressed air towards the saw, aiming to pierce the attack at it's center before it could get any closer. The target was moving a ridiculously fast pace, but between dealing with Zelraine, hitting this seemed potentially a tad easier.

The wind saged frowned from hearing Jenso's words and memories back from there encounter with Dacer in Techmo came flooding back. "Jenso..." Jeff started to mutter, but his tone changed quickly as he and his mirage both tightly gripped there fists and pointed at Dacer.

The sage then formed six wind spheres in the air around him and his mirage while whipping up the wind in the area and circling around the lower area near him, the castle, and Jenso. He then prepared for the feline's next movements by using the stirred up wind to help sense the direction he would move in and then planed to launch each of the wind spheres accordingly. He planned to have two tail after him with another set of two trying to cut him off and final set going for a more direct approach. "I wasn't strong enough back then in our home town, back when Rajaka attacked our town. Or when we met those few times back in Techmo. But I'll prove that I can overcome any of the Order that stands in my.. no... our way..."

The sage glanced at Jenso smirking. "We're a team after all, and we as a guild will overcome these obstacles and be the first to best the Order! Starting with you Dacer!"

Overall, despite the attack he prepared, Jeff still kept his guard up and had the white flame boosted nanoblade on the ready to counter if Dacer would close in.
