Personality: He is apathetic, seemingly sociopathic, to everyone. There is no getting close to him, and even his friends will tell you he treats them the same. He can take a lot; he has no temper, and simply doesn't care enough to get angry. However, he loathes many people easily. He can't stand the sight of anybody who laughs off pain of any sorts, a bad combination considering his enrollment at Yamaku. He personally believes all injuries should be treated, and refuses to ignore any damage, even the weakest colds. If there's anybody he shows a warm heart to, it's his teachers, specifically his music teacher. His teacher's respect and admiration for his skills made the two very close, and Shiro trusts him most of all.
Skills: Shiro has played violin since he was 9, and as such competes with the best violinists. Also is extremely good at arithmetic and mathematics, most likely due to the common usage of fractional math in orchestral music. However, he hates any type of grammar with a burning passion.
Bio: Shiro Kurokawa was born into an abusive family. His father became an alcoholic after the loss of his first son, a stillborn. Shiro's mother took most of the pressure for a few years, before quickly turning to drugs herself. As he grew up, he learned to rely on himself more and more, taking the beatings from his father and the negligence from his mother. He learned how to not stick out of the crowd, and quickly became a nobody. The more time passed by, the less his personality remained. By the time he was 8, he had become totally apathetic. An eight-year old, and he was already running through depression, contemplating suicide. Until he found the violin.
One of his old childhood friends, not able to bear seeing him die slowly inside, introduced Shiro to the violin, a few days after his ninth birthday. At first it was nothing but a hobby, but it grew into his life. Every day Shiro took the abuse, took the loneliness, just praying for the moment he could get his violin, and play. And so he did. He played, and played, until his fingers went numb. He felt like he could see the light of day again, and he pushed through. He felt as if he could see it all.
Until he couldn't.
At the age of 10, he experienced cataracts, and could barely see. He tried to tell his parents, but all he received was a swift blow to the head. A few days later, retinal detachment occurred. With no treatment available, he quickly went blind. Bystanders couldn't stand it no longer. Child protection services were called, and he was moved to a new family. Nothing could touch the poor boy's soul anymore. Yet his violin stayed with him. Anybody could see that it was the last thing he was attached to, and nobody dared to touch it, for their own safety. He tried to fit in normally in the middle schools, but nothing seem to fit him. It was a relief whenever he could finally go to Yamaku, but to him it felt like a trap. But he couldn't refuse. He couldn't refuse anything. So he went. It became his home of sorts. He rarely if ever visited his foster home, and he became very familiar with the staff. It seemed he finally found a home he could feel safe in.

Great character. Is it just me or does the picture look like a cosplay of Moka from Rosario + Vampire? Which is actually quite ironic, since she is a vampire. (Now that I take a closer look, I can confirm that yes, it is a cosplay of the vampire form of Moka)

I feel like the psychological torture my character can do is soooo much worse than Osmond's (After all, I can sense a person's personality just by touching their shadow). I feel empowered *evil face*.
Not sure why you think Cadence will be interesting to meet Rak, but nevertheless I can't wait.
