Little_Ninja said "Hey", he waved. "Hola, commo estas?" He asked her, then quickly added "Do not reply in Spanish please, I actually only know that phrase in Spanish and a few words at most." He laughed. Takeshi started to look up, and through the window he could see Mira. Before going to get her, he asked Sylvia. " Have you ordered yet? Did you order for the rest of us?" Once he had heard the answer, he nodded a bit.

After Takeshi's greeting, Sylvia knew that she couldn't miss the opportunity. "Ah, ¡Takeshi! Que bueno que se presenta aquí. Pero, ¿Dónde está Mira?" Sylvia looked out the window and saw the answer to her question: Mira was standing awkwardly outside of the restaurant. "I kid Takeshi, I kid. And no, I didn't order food for you, you're all big boys and girls, I figured you could do it on your own." Sylvia said, before calling out to one of the waiters behind the bar, "¡Mesero! Otro vaso de amontillado por favor! Y favor de preparar un cocido montañés por yo. Y para mis amigos..." Sylvia looked up at Mira and Takeshi. "What do you guys want to eat?" She said, her speech beginning to slur as she finished off the glass of the rust coloured drink. She lethargically handed Mira and Takeshi each a menu with English translations.
With the girl drawing her bow, Renan realized that this encounter might not have been initiated in the best way. And of course, it's not like he could call out to her. But she didn't know that. Well shit, he thought. The silver arrow was pointed unwaveringly at Renan, but then he noticed something odd. Why was it pointed at him and not the more obvious threat; the giant crow? Taking a gamble, Renan looked up at the leaves of the trees, then back at the bird, and then nodded. The crow began flying above him as Renan swung up from a branch and sent his forearms into the talons of the bird, which promptly flew up into the brush of leaves, disappearing from sight.

The rustling of the leaves continued to approach the girl until there was a pause, and Renan fell from the trees, contorting his body in mid-air until managing to catch himself on all fours. The crow drifted down casually. Renan looked at the crow angrily, and made hand gestures akin to those made by someone saying, "What the hell is wrong with you?" The bird cackled - almost laughed - and flew up to Renan's shoulder. Unfortunately for him, the first thing that Renan saw upon standing up was the rather disgruntled face of a young archer and a panther, poised for attack, each several meters away. Renan dropped his crossbow and his sword and began to approach her. When he was but several feet away, he realized that he was branded with the sign of a bear on his chest. He immediately pointed at it and made gesticulations to infer that he was not associated with it.
Renan had been taking a stroll through the capital city, looking for any signs of the man he had been looking for. Thinking back, he remembered all of the good times that he had experienced under this man's guidance. This man had taught him to fence, to hunt, to do all of the things that Renan used to stay alive. Finally, he found where the old man was resting. This man, the father of the boy that Renan had saved just a year ago, was lying here, six feet under the earth. Renan left a flower petal, as he did every month. With a brief glimpse into the past, Renan was reminded of the day that this man died, sick and without proper care. But he got up, and set out on his way. The black bird that had been on the tombstone flapped up to Renan, resting on his shoulder. Passing a group of city guards, Renan found his path blocked. At least, until he pointed out the brooch on the pommel of his foil.

Ah, back when I was with them. How simple it was. Just do your job, Renan. No more. *Sigh,* at least they gave me some decent stuff though.

As he passed, Renan made a sound not unlike a chuckle, though without tone.

Idiots. Thinking I'm with them. Psh.

Renan came upon a forest by a river, and, lost in his thoughts, waded through and continued into the wood. Thoughts raced through his mind, recalling his life in the military, that family that he had massacred... That mother, crying as Renan himself carried her child off. This continued for a while, until, Renan felt the oh-so-familiar talons sinking into his shoulder. He looked up, and in the distance noted a pale girl with brown hair disappearing against the horizon. He stopped, for a moment, and thought. What the hell is she doing just out in the woods? That is until the crow, now flying in wide arcs around Renan, began cawing incessantly. "Is it just me, or do big cats not live in temperate forests?" it said. Renan looked carefully, and just barely made out the form that the crow was indicating. He began a run as the crow landed awkwardly back on his shoulder. " What are you doing? You're faster than me, go catch up!" Renan thought to the bird, as was his only means of communication.

The bird cocked it's head and widened its eyes, crying in a sassy bird voice, "I ain't dealin' with that. That thing must be a God Damn puma or somethin'." Renan was unamused. He looked at the bird and thought malevolently, "Screw you Steve," and began a full sprint, the bird now gliding behind him, cawing to the girl in an attempt to gain her attention.
Name: Renan Keller

Age: 17

Gender: M

Appearance: This guy without the hood, mask, and messed up eye. Black hair and brown eyes. Oh and he's black.

Personality: Due to his condition (see bio), Renan has isolated himself and become rather antisocial. While he could have been charismatic, the barrier between him and the rest of the world has proven to great for most, leaving him with no one but himself, and he's ok with that. A man of simple tastes, he has little interest in extravagance. As sarcastic as he can be without speech, Renan can come across as snarky to those that he does interact with, assuming that they can understand him. He has a sense of humor, but of course cannot communicate it to most. Regardless of the aforementioned traits, Renan is a curious fellow, seeking knowledge both philosophical and practical.

Bio: Raised in military, but then stuff got plot-twisty. Renan was taken in by the monarchy as an infant, and was raised as part of the military. For a while, he was accepting of this, seeing as it was the only life that he had ever known. That changed the day that he got back from his first assignment. After six years of rigorous training, Renan was sent out with a group of soldiers to retrieve a pair of twins that both had guardians, one allegedly of a hawk, the other of an eagle. When he arrived, however, the family put up a resistance. At least, they tried to. The family of two parents, an uncle, an aunt, and a grandfather was slaughtered. After bringing the children back to where they were to be raised from that point on, he began to wonder if this was what happened to his family. Several weeks later, Renan was sent out for another assignment of the same nature, to capture a child with a bear for a guardian. Upon capturing the child, Renan turned around to see the mother and father crying, and a grandmother walking back into the house, head down and shaking. Seeing this, Renan incapacitated the guards and returned the child, seeking refuge with relatives of the family before setting out to learn exactly what was going on with the struggle between the monarchy and the people. Oh and by the way he's mute.

Weapon of choice: Rapiers and martial arts for close range, and an experimental flintlock pistol for medium range (If pistols aren't allowed then a mini crossbow)
Guardian CS

Name: Steve (If you want a slightly more serious name then Murder)

Gender: M

Type of Animal: Crow

Appearance: No picture, you should know what a crow looks like. A massive black bird with somewhat unkempt feathers, though not mangy or sickly. Feet are large enough to wrap around Renan's forearm to carry him... Or an enemy's head to crush it.

Personality: Sassy and maniacal, Steve is the bold and obnoxious counterpart to Renan. Somewhat cowardly, he will attempt to avoid most danger, unless of course he is commanded to do otherwise wise by Renan (which he rarely does out of respect and friendship) or in the advent that something or someone important is in jeopardy, in which case he will not hesitate to dive in. Regardless of Steve's sarcastic exterior, he is rather intelligent, and can come up with wise plans and responses to problems. That is, unless there is a funnier, more cruel option.
Gavin got up. "Well uh... Do you mind if I room in here?" He asked. After he said this, however, he seemed to facepalm, indicating either an itch or disappointment. "Sure, if you want. Do whatever makes you happy," Sylvia responded, letting go of his hand and walking back out to the balcony. Upon noting that Takeshi was no longer on his balcony, without turning around Sylvia said to Gavin, "I'm going out for dinner, you're welcome to come if you want." With this, she turned around and still without looking at Gavin headed for the door. With her hand on the doorknob, Sylvia halted and looked over her shoulder for a moment, "I'm sorry about earlier," she said, and with this exited the room.

Upon stepping outside Sylvia turned to face the door and identified certain features. The number '357,' inscribed into a brass plate. A peephole. A doorknob. And finally a display saying Gavin McFrewin & S----- --oom. Several letters were blocked out by the name tag that Sylvia had pasted into the door earlier. Sylvia was about to leave when she looked up at the names and pondered for a moment. For only a moment, a keen observer would have noted an expression on her face that seemed to be both rage, and relief. With a closing sigh, Sylvia turned and headed down the flight of stairs that led to the lobby. Taking one last glance at the performance area, Sylvia opened the doors and left.

After passing several different restaurants designed to cater to different human cultures, Sylvia happened upon one that interested her. Sabor was the name, and Sylvia chuckled when she noted how similar it was to the name Sabore. She entered, and seeing that many tables were either in use or dirty, sat at the bar. While waiting for service, Sylvia sent directions to the restaurant to Takeshi, Gavin, and Mira, with the note, "Party in the Spanish restaurant - Ignori's only." When a waiter finally did come around, Sylvia ordered, "Un gran vaso de amontillado," and waited for the group to arrive.
Too late to join?

Sylvia had been standing on her balcony, observing the city life outside of the ominous cube, when Takeshi called down to her, mentioning his position above her. "Oh, I guess that could be convenient if we ever wanted to talk," Sylvia said, a hint of interest and compassion in her voice. She was beginning to warm up to this 'Takeshi'. He was ranting in an attempt to explain his living situation with Mira when Sylvia heard the sound of a door opening inside of her dorm. Someone had walked in and sat down, and apparently dropped something. Based on the familiar angry voice, Sylvia figured that the being inside was Gavin. Sylvia was about to enter and say hello when who was presumably Gavin began a short tirade on the injustice of the light beating that he had received earlier, leaving Sylvia feeling slightly insulted. "Uh ... looks like I'm hungry. Mira said she would go to sleep. Wanna go out grab a bite?" Takeshi inquired. "I'm afraid we'll have to take care of that later, right now there are asses to be kicked," Sylvia said, turning around and leaning on the railing, arms crossed as she thought of how to deal with Gavin. Soon, however, the curtains jerked to the side with a gleam of silver, before they were opened and the boy himself stepped out.

He looked shocked as he stood there, greeted by Sylvia's piercing eyes. For a few seconds, the two of them just stood there, a fake sun settling on the horizon behind Sylvia. Then, Gavin retreated back into the dorm, whimpering quietly. Sylvia called up to Takeshi, "Call me later and we can figure something out for a meal." Sylvia entered the dorm and closed the curtains behind her, also closing a glass door. She wandered the room for a few moments before coming upon Gavin, attempting to hide behind a sofa.

For a moment, Sylvia pondered how to react to Gavin. After all, he had just waltzed into her dorm, rambling about what a terrible person she was. But Sylvia knew better. And, whether she liked it or not, she liked Gavin. He was interesting. Wordlessly, Sylvia outstretched her hand as if to help Gavin up.
Mira, interesting name.

So, Sylvia now had a total of three acquaintances. How delightful. Sylvia mentally criticized herself for becoming associated with this many people so quickly, and even hurting one of them. She thought back to what Gavin looked like as she was leaving the train... Hunched over in pain. Perhaps she had been too hard on him...

Sylvia's train of thought was interrupted by Takeshi's question of whether she was musical or not.

"Yes, as a matter of fact, back home I played the guitar, viola, and bass. Of course I could only bring one of those," Sylvia said, motioning to a smaller, violin shaped case that was tied to her main bag. During the brief moment of silence at the end of this statement, Sylvia noticed Takeshi raising his wrist to check his map, flinching slightly as he did this. When inquired as to her mutation by Mira, Sylvia pondered for a moment as to how to explain. As Takeshi looked back at her, she said, "I can see through the eyes of others, allowing me to see things that I normally can't. For example if someone were to be in a room that I wasn't, I could track their vision. Also I have abnormally sensitive ears, which oddly enough seem to have been getting stronger instead of weaker with time. What about yours... and you Takeshi?"

Upon entering the building Sylvia was astounded. The architecture was flawless... She'd never seen anything like it before. Then again, it was likely that no one here had. Sylvia turned to the other two, and invited, "We should go get our rooms." Sylvia began a light run, unusually excited by this. Upon reaching the third floor up, Sylvia began to look for a dorm. A bit more than half way down the hall, Sylvia noted a small group of empty dorms near each other and picked the first one that she noticed, room 357.

Screw it, it can't hurt THAT much to trust these people right? And they're going to find out my name eventually any way. Let's make a statement.

Sylvia took her name tag out of her pocket, licked the back of it, and slapped it onto the door, just below the number plate. With a smirk and a wave, Sylvia bode goodbye to Takeshi and Mira before entering her room. It was only a second later that she reemerged, asking, "Just out of curiosity, are you two..." Sylvia paused awkwardly for a moment, thinking of how to phrase this tactfully, "going to be sharing a room? Actually - Nevermind. None of my business." Sylvia went into her room, apparently a double as it had two twin beds. She threw her duffle bag onto the bed closer to a large set of curtains, which she opened. Sylvia stepped out into the balcony and took in the beauty of the city, seeing the simplicity of the everyday life lived by local residents. Sylvia saw a few things, such as a residential district where the locals lived, a park, a few restaurants... She stayed out here for a bit, the curtains drawn closed behind her as she observed the sheer vitality of the ship.
