Is it possible for things other than the races to be brought through as well, for example large sacred relics, ect?

I'd allow a few of those to come through, but no ones bringing cities with them. The Gorikan tech tree deals with bringing more stuff through the portals, I'll have a preview of that up tomorrow or later tonight.

Could we discuss elements of what can and cannot be claimed, as well as details of races? I have many ideas and a faction that I would very much like to use in this.

Of course. As far as territory is concerned, the coloured regions on the map I posted a little bit further up are for native players only. However, all other regions are available to both native and Gorikan players.

Races would be preferably humanoid, and physical (no ethereal beings, for example.)

May I join? I find this concept to be very interesting.

It's far from finished, I reckon we're looking at possibly a few days to a week before I get everything pieced together. Stay tuned, glad it's finally getting some interest.

I, on the other hand, am not new to NRPs I'm interested to see the mechanics you have in place, hopefully they're not too limiting.

Define what you mean by limiting?

Alrighty. Oh by The Way i am new to NRPs i hope thats ok.

Gotta start somewhere, right?
caliban22 said
ok, and We can make our own races right? What sort of limits can there be?

None really; but there will be boundaries in place to prevent god modding (i.e no all powerful beings). Otherwise anything goes, whether people want to make a race of spiders, undead, rock gollums etc etc. The sky is the limit really, as long as its kept within reason.

Got a question. Does it have to be a nation that. Guess existed or Can it an country we just make up?

Gorika can rename the region, and cities, to their liking.

Natives will keep the existing country and city names. As would make sense.
Preview of the native tech tree:

Here's the map. Coloured nations are out of bounds to Gorika players, as they are the major native countries. (With the exception of Nillanor, which will serve as the High Elf domain. The High Elves will be a key NPC player. More on that later.)

Purple = Byzantium
Dark Blue = Kievan Rus
Light Blue = France
Red = England
Orange = Holy Roman Empire
Dark Yellow = Ayyubid dynasty
Bright Yellow = Nillanor (High Elves)

Everywhere else will be available to all players, regardless of whether they wish to be Gorikan or native.

Next I will start to detail the technology, recruitment and upkeep mechanics.

EDIT: I know the map's a bit messed up on the left, I didn't realise at the time but I've sorted it my end. The real thing wont have that defect.
No one? Ah well, back to the drawing board.
