I'm up to my eyes at the moment with my other RP commitments, but if a time comes when I can attempt to host another, I will look into mimicking the whole "King and friends" style of features that this had. It was a great idea, and a shame that it was betrayed by its own creator, but hey ho.

I'll see y'all 'round. If anyone tries their hand at making something similar to this before I do, let me know and I'll most probably join. Laters.

I didn't know that generals often had a choice in single combat. If someone comes running at you with murderous intent, attempting to politely decline their offer of death might not be the smartest of ideas.

What this guy says. Single combat isn't supposed to be 'Hey you, I challenge you to a duel!' (although it could be if both players wanted that in the IC), it's more of the two generals meeting each other amidst the furious melee.

EDIT: Let me rephrase that. "CHANCING" upon each other amidst the furious melee.
Byzantine battle results are in:

20,000 vs Anatolia

10,000 of them Thematic.

GODS OF DICE SAY ANATOLIA HAS A STRENGTH OF:

10,000 Professionals

Thematics go first:

25% Losses (2,500)

Anatolia gets nutted in the face for 50% (5,000)

Then come the Kataphracts and their Tagma toy boys

15% losses (1,500)

Anatolia loses 30% (3000)

Byzantine Victory! Anatolia falls to the Empire.

In conclusion:

Thema Trezbizond loses 2,500 Thematics, and 1,500 of its professional troops. Eastern Anatolia annexed successfully. Fairly smooth battle.

Alright, I'm calling it. Time of death, 22:21 GMT 0. Possible cause: Theodorable's AWOL antics, coupled with Bishop's roflcoptering through the sunny hills of BAIIIIIIIIIIII.

Was a real pleasure, and a great shame, but I can't tie myself down to RPs that are decaying in the meat fridge of broken dreams.

I'll give it a 48 hour grace period, but if there's no activity in that time, then I'm sending it to the morgue.

Posted!Forgot to clarify, tagmata are the professionals, thematic troops are the militia.

Alright, you're going to need to specify which of those troop types are Thematic in your armies, my knowledge of the Eastern Roman Empire's finer details lacks somewhat and those names mean almost nothing. If you wouldn't mind, put 'Thematic' in the militia troops bonus section so's I know please :)

I hope this nulls the failed bluff disadvantage :(

Of course. The failed bluff is for when humans succeed in the pre-battle rout roll. It's a sort of FUCK YOU thanks for trying mechanic.

Only an army his leader is in charge of benefits, the rest will be subject to the same stuff all the other NPC armies are.

DAMN WHY MUST I BE TARGETED >:(

Because the Isarimer are the anti-human 2000 device coming to a store near you.

Wait, we can have leader traits without being hiveminds?

I was actually thinking on what to give you, to even things a little.

- Champion of Mankind = -10% losses against Gorikan races to armies led by this man // Army immune to Isarimer's horrifying trait.
The Vrael are good to go, as is Byzantium. Now I go sleep, for real this time.

Season ends tomorrow.
EDIT: Maybe a bit too strong for some of the younger members.

Anyways, catch y'all in about 16 hours.
