If it's set in the Walking Dead universe, then sure. If not, then you might get growled at for false advertising by any potential nerd kings.

I'd say go for something original, but still keep the obvious undertones... for example, "Dead Town Chicago", or "Dead Flesh: Chicago", or "Zombie Apocalypse: Chicago", or "Surviving the Zombie Apocalypse: Chicago"... yeah looking at them, they're not great.

You're probably right, Walking Dead universe or no, it'll send a clear message.

EDIT: Here's my pre-made CS's. Don't expect you to go over them, but could you please check their weapons and tell me if I'm being too Call of Duty?

Awesome, I'm liking the enthusiasm here.

I'll get to making my group, don't normally do more than one character, but I think I'll give it ago. If it becomes too cumbersome, I can always have them killed off in a jiffy and keep my favourite.
I got a new one: When people ask for a description of your character... but then also ask for weight and height.
"Agave Viejo, he's at... Agave Viejo..."

"Excellent," said Evarado, clapping the mangled form of the prisoner on the back. "You have made my day."

"Please, just kill me," the prisoner begged weakly.

Evarado nodded, "of course, Evarado Anselmo never breaks a promise."

He placed the barrel of his Mauser against the man's badly bruised face, and pulled the trigger.
"Agave Viejo is just a ranch, we've checked it a dozen times," said Manuel, loading shells into his rifle. "We'd of found something, if the rebels were there."

Evarado stroked his mousache thoughtfully. "Perhaps," he conceded, "but then maybe you weren't as er... thorough as me?"

Manuel was puzzled. "We tore the place apart, the only things we found were weeping villagers and starving cattle."

"Oh Sergeant, my wonderful Sergeant," chirped Evarado sarcastically. "The rebels' weakness is their passion. Surely you thought of shooting down some of the womenfolk?"

Manuel shook his head. "I only kill when I see an enemy."

Evarado laughed loudly. "My friend, the enemy are all around us. A few dead innocents is a low price to play when compared to the chaos that would unfold if the rebels won. Come, let us leave."

The Mexican 21st Infantry Company mounted on their horses, all sixty of them, and left the safety of El Presido. Normally Capitan Evarado would not risk so much, when the stakes were so high, but if he could end this rebellion to day, then he was prepared to sacrifice everything to achieve his goal.
You can do if you want, Evarado is pretty much doing his own thing at the moment, but outside interaction can happen at any time. In my upcoming post, he'll be extracting information on Reyes' whereabouts, and will be getting ready to put down the rebellion... or will it be that easy? Stay tuned for next week's episode of "Murdering People Because I Can"
I think we'll allow 3 characters a player, for those who want to do as much, but otherwise I agree; the intelligence of the animals would likely make them see each other as somewhat bretherin, and having them work together would be interesting. For example, whilst a big gorilla might be able to tear a zombie limb from limb, he aint gonna be able to go through that air vent and open the locked door from the other side. Enter bionic bunny, with its eye-mounted laser cannon and the ability to hop fifty feet into the air.

Righty'o, I think I'll dial it down a bit, keep it from getting too complicated and convoluted. The beta will pretty much be the extent of it, I just need to make a mention of the third threat: human survivors, who will never pass up a chance to shoot, kill and cook something.
Interested.

I have yet to have played in a proper zombie RP, so I have high expectations.

Well, 90% of the genre complete garbage, at least going by Sturgeon's Law. Not that western television is , mind you... Why we glorify stupid I'll never know nor want to.

Alright, I'll come clean, I can't stand it. It doesn't appeal to me at all. The people who base their characters on it usually copy and paste them from their favourite shows, bar a few differences. The characters are always kind of flat, and never seem to develop.

I've no problem with people liking it, making Rps of it, etc etc, I just hate it when they try to infiltrate a nitty gritty RP designed for realistic character concepts.

Also people that try to stuff anime characters in explicitly not anime role plays.

This.

EDIT: I also enjoy the PMs you get, demanding to know why it is you're against anime. You try to explain to them that the world isn't suitable for an anime character, and they take it to mean you hate the genre.

I likes it tooooooooo~~<3!! Lurvs it so far, Hamster ;DSounds like it's gunna get more complicated U,u! But still sounds furkin' urshums^^I dun know about limits, maybe three max? Dunno. But what about RPers in control 'swarms' or 'packs' or 'herds'? Like would other regular animals see RPers as like Alpha types?

I'll elaborate on that tomorrow, as it's late here, but basically that is kind of a main premise: your animal/s have it within their power to pass on their genes. So you know, not being eaten like a turkey leg, escaping the city and rallying your *ahem* countrymen to your cause will be a feature. I am just unsure in what capacity, I mean I don't think you'd find many lions walking around to pair up with, if that's what you was playing as.

Maybe rather than an individual sheet, your character should be the alpha of a group. That'd prolly make more sense. I unno, like I says I'll look into it tomorrow.

Night all :)
