Hey-o, this looks fun~
Hopefully, you still have those too character spots open.
Hey, can I join?

Thump, thump, thump. They were out of canned plastic for filling holes, so Tack was spending his day patching a woman's rusted, aluminum roof with a flat sheet of iron. Thump, thump, thump. It wasn't very fun, either. Thump, thump, thump. The sound of the metal against metal being pounded through more metal and into a supporting board was giving him a headache. Thump, thump... His eyes started to wander to the side, looking out at the wall...was that smoke? Right there, just above--

THUMP. Tack's squinted eyes widened in shock and he resisted the urge to scream out the long stream of curses that crossed his mind as he held his clenched fist to his heart. Letting out an exasperated, raspy sigh, he set the offending hammer down and took off his gloves to examine his injured thumb.

As he turned away from his work and sat at the edge of the roof for a break, a thought came back to him; why would there be smoke?
What does sanctuary look like itself? Is it one, large building, or a cluster of smaller ones?

Nah, I'm gonna be switching focus pretty soon, and there's no reason to hold it up.

But... no one who's in Slytherin is leaving.... and if he's walking between the table and the wall... why would someone from another house go over there.... ?

That's true.

I probably should have thought it out more, or just phrased what I had in my head better. Oh well~ >>
I'm so cut no one took advantage of my opening T---T

Eh, but if you need someone to rp with before he switches it, think about it?
Watching the socialization between the four houses unfold, it occurred to Leland that he was tired, and if he turned in now he could unpack before the rest of Slytherin filed into the dungeon and made unpacking inconvenient. Finishing the cobbler, he gathered his robes and excused himself passed a few students to walk between the Slytherin table and wall to avoid crashing into someone.
Leland looked over in moderate interest at Sebastian Grey's speech and smiled at it for good measure before turning back to the serving of pomegranate cobbler on his plate, which was blandly looking up at him with its seedy contents. He started thinking about the advanced classes he was taking this year--the potions class was going to be intriguing, at least. He scraped the tip of his fork over the cobbler, and after considering it for a moment, popped it into his mouth with his first genuine smile of the day. He really like pomegranate, and the year ahead him looked promising enough.
